I tried this last night. I thought I was doing pretty well until I got to 86. Yikes! 😬 So my best checkout was 96, with 3 darts on the first try. Worst was 86, with 4 darts on the 8th try. 🙄 My average # of tries for all the checkouts was 3.1, with a 4.7 dart average. Not that great but I have something to try and beat next time. I did learn two things. I do not know my checkouts at all! And when your dart checkout mat gets worn, the "D16s" and "D18s" start looking alike! (Made that mistake more than once! 😂) Thanks for the video and great practice drill idea! I really need to work on this one.
This is great to read! I must say, that's a good standard you've attained there. Checking out 96 in three darts is always welcome and if your worst was around 24 darts then that's really impressive. I found I had a few good numbers in a row but then, when I got stuck, I got REALLY stuck. Ps. love a darts checkout mat, bought one for my nephew! Thanks for letting me know how you did, keep going!
Very good and usefull video mate! I’m gonna try this for sure and will let you know how i did👍🏼 but i’m only gonna time myself on how long it takes me to check them all out bc i’m to lazy to write down all the visits😂
Mate, you're absolutely right to just time it end to end, was a total pain in the backside writing it down between each number to be honest. For the record, 57 minutes almost on the dot was how long I took. Not sure what your standard of play is but if you're anything like me, you'll find you string together a few good numbers and then you'll get stuck on one for ages......and ages.......
