- Coolant overflows and overflow tanks seem to be a needed item in any build, but how do you hide it to craft a better looking ride? Today I attempt to hide mine and show you a semi cleaner look you can also perform.

That's a great idea! I have a coolant overflow tank I plan on putting in my 68 Nova Chevy II. Have to.look into it. Getting there with mine slowly, body done, paint almost done, interior started, bucket seats installed, back seat reupholstered, once the paint is done then just need the tranny 700 4R and to rebuild or replace the rear end. I have an ls1 in my 71 camaro; and do need an overflow tank. I think this may work :).

Shes looking good. I would not personally put something in air flow path that did not need cooling. Got to say that El Camino in the background across street is looking tight!

I have the same issue. Currently I dont have an overflow bottle at all but I want to use one. Never been able to work out where to put one thou and I still have the battery in its original position.
Would be nice to hear how this works for you, if it works well I might do something similar.

For my LS7, yes… if not, it has a weep hole ;)
You should have looked into Holley’s accessory mid mount kit. All accessories get tucked in closer to the engine block.
It can be a future upgrade.
The tank is to low, the rad won't be able to siphon coolant.
The radiator reservoir doesnt need to be higher than the radiator inlet/outlet tube?

I have a 90 iroc just wondering when I go to the acc position on the key I have no radio or nothing only when it's in the start position any ideas I'd hate to change the lock cylinder thank you keep up the great work

@@Lethalgarage I rewire the stereo and nothing I used a aftermarket wire harness i will redo it again on the weekend it's been that way for a while I thought it would be nice to hear some tunes with the car off I would like to sent you some pictures of both my camaros
Don't, out pretty, function. Don't you want your overflow tank to be able to return to the radiator? Probably hard to do in that car so. Purdy it is 👍

These are an overflow as long as the reservoir is below the full level and above the add level, you’re good.

You all install this stuff with half the information , where does the return hose go to, the bottom of the radiator with a tee by the drain cock or WHAT???? Nobody ever puts the important details on, sick of utube videos
It’s a single feed line overflow. The connection is literally in the thumbnail of the video and shown in the video. /faceplam
