I dissagree with the fact that Tylers dad didn’t want to be apart of his life. You have to consider that if the dad tried reaching out and explaining himself, his mom could potentially try to sway him out of talking to him. But the truth is that we’ll never know and we’re a bunch of strangers on the internet speculating the life of a grown man.
and im ok with that explanation for the earlier part of tyler's life but the guy has been famous for like 13 years and his dad apparently listens to his music so he couldve at least tried to reach out in different ways
@@KingBenny To give him the benefit of the doubt he probably thinks that Tyler hates him so why would he reach out. Plus if he was like “Oh your mom lied, I’ve always wanted to see you” he’d obviously believe his mom over his dad since his mom was there for him.
@@KingBennyboy how do you come into his life as an adult without looking like a mooch…. You just accept it and be glad he’s successful unless something like “like him happens”. If you aren’t a dad you wouldn’t understand.
@Bigmonto personally I just would try to communicate with him regardless of what I might look like bc if I truly am a loving father I would want to see and/or talk to my son regardless of how he looks at me. Especially a son I've never spoken to or heard from, and especially if his mom was the one that kept me away. As soon as possible I'm explaining my side of things... that shit would haunt everyday if I didn't at least try
As someone who was raised in a broken home with a violent father who eventually ended up in jail for domestic abuse, finally someone understands that Tyler’s mom is a victim in this situation rather than the villain, my mother blames herself for my fathers abuse because “you need 2 people for a fight” and because she “didn’t stop him soon enough”, the victims blaming themself in those situations are way more common than people would think, and I don’t believe that Tyler’s father “couldn’t reach out to him”, that’s just bullshit in this day and age, he just didn’t want to, there’s no other logical explanation for this situation
As someone with an extremely abusive father i will say two things 1. I wish he stayed away or that my mom kept him away from us 2. when i drop growin pains its gonna be the greatest album of all time
ye like every kid deserve a parent but not every parents deserve kids type situation like you would rather not see him or have him present in your life than be the one who beats you or your mom
Dope vid, but I don’t think there were any villains or victims in like him it was just them trying to navigate raising a kid while being young, if Tyler’s mum didn’t want his dad there he couldn’t rly force himself into their life but he still could have reached out
I don’t really see that she said he was a good dude I feel calling her a victim is truly reaching and assumption especially in tracks like hey Jane where Jane almost does the same thing his mom did to his dad to Tyler by saying I can raise the kid myself I don’t need you even though he didn’t do anything wrong it shows how easy emotions could have made that her choice and if what she said was true which I feel we should take as true as you know no more than what was said he was the victim
9:51 Brother, I understand where you’re coming from, but no, you’ve gotta see this from both sides of the lane. There would be no easy way to check up on a kid who’s momma doesn’t want you in their life, she said she kept him away, and as a father and a man, you have to respect the wishes of the parent with custody, and of the people you care for. Yes, he could’ve reached out when he became famous, but without a song like “Like Him,” coming out, it would’ve come off as ingenuine, and a young angry Tyler probably would’ve clowned and aired this man out in a song or interview for that. He could definitely reach out right now and it’d be fine, but before now, nah. It’s best to celebrate from afar. Heck we don’t even know if dudes alive lol Every comment I see of you responding to people who give you this incredibly valid explanation, you offer no real solutions, meaning you know it would be VERY difficult but still give Tyler’s dad zero leeway. Like come on my guy, I get where you’re coming from but you can’t wear your bias so openly on your sleeve.
The internet is a thing... you cant convince me that if he didnt hop online and talked about his side of the story that he wouldnt do it... he knows who Tyler is, surely it can't be the most difficult thing to contact him as a father. He also had 18 years to take Tyler's mom to court cause he knew he had a son. There's no "easy" solution but fatherhood isnt easy
Sometimes it’s not that simple. Like with my father. He wanted to be there and couldn’t, because my mom wouldn’t LET HIM. When I grew up I found out he went to jail multiple times trying to see me.
Well, setting his father aside, I hope his mom didn’t tell him that bit of info recently, I hope it was years ago. Imagine the feeling of betrayal by your own mother, as she watches you obviously suffering and not explaining her piece on it, even if she was misguided as to why his dad never showed, I’d be damn hurt if my mom didn’t tell me a piece of info that big about something that meant that much to him.
I thought this guy was just some niche artist so hearing that he's apparently one of the most famous and influential is very confusing ngl. I only see him in memes and screenshots but can't think of any of his songs I've heard What songs of am I most likely to have heard even when I didn't know the name or artist? Maybe I've actually heard him without realising
Bruh. Tyler built a career partially off hating his dad. He knew he couldn’t come back. Tyler most likely wouldn’t listen and he’d look like an asshole either way. As a father you can’t go back to that. His mom’s not a villain. But she made the wrong choice to tell her kid his dad hated him.
unfortunately those types of videos are the type i can only do in very rare occassions with how youtube works... i fuck with westside gunn from what i heard but i havent checked out the new ab soul and gibbs yet
Hmm. Is the mom really a victim for believing that or is she hiding a truth that will shatter him to a million pieces? If lacking a father figure is so influential, imagine hearing from your mom that your dad didn't want you She definitely knows how much more the dad could have done if he really wanted to, and can never be the one to say it if its true
@@KingBenny ngl I mostly play it to have something to talk about with my brother, although Nick's "rat to glory" series is rather funny (and where the joke comes from)

lowkey your audience choosing another video before this was such a good decision because now you can take chromakopia into consideration
hopefully ppl will enjoy it
tyler is just so complex as a person tbh
every person is

Earfquake, and See You Again most likely
Tyler the creator ain’t niche no more lol, earfquake and see you again are a couple of his biggest songs
Running out of time, earfquake, new magic wand
You should listen to his music starting with flower boy and going in order. All masterpieces.
see you again has been one of the top 5 most streamed songs on spotify for the past half of this year iirc 😭
yo i love your vids man keep it up!
Thanks, will do! or try at least
yo you gotta drop in 9 hours instead
ppl just dont fuck with me rn its crazy
magnificent video
thank you for enjoying! i def enjoyed making it tbh

I don't think his mom told him his dad hated him... no mom would ever say that... I think that's what a kid would naturally think of an absent dad
