Every server I try to join, doesn't have voice chat though DCS. Everyone seems to want SRS

Simple radio or (SRS) has it built in. I assume dcs will add it in later on

If me and my buddy stay in the lobby/common area so we still need to be on the same channel? We usually fly coop missions with Cold War era planes to setting frequency is a pain.

I believe if your in common or blue chat you can here people in the same chat as you. So click common and then anyone else that’s in common they can here u.

My squadron uses SRS and probably won't shift to DCS radio. My only question is, will SRS people hear my voice on the channels if I tune to what they are tuned with? Will I hear their voice?

I'm gonna say yes, if you have the voice chat checked,
And they will hear you too if you have the same push to talk mapped

@@T-Tailer but that would mean incoming transmissions from a friend over Srs will be heard in both srs and dcs voice chat, right? So same ptt wouldn’t be that beneficial if you all connect to dcs voice chat + srs.

So far it looks like only a few of the top servers have VoiP enabled. Needs more work before it can fully replace SRS.

No not until dcs gets overlord bot and other things to work with it. However for the club I fly with we are switching over.
