Such a great track! The creator of Space Funeral had such an ear for fiding fitting music. Instead of getting royalty free stuff, he actually took the time to find something good.
+mickennxtre68 there's a new fanmade sequel coming out? I knew there was a Space Funeral 2 that was fanmade, I didn't like it to much. But i'll have to give this one a try!
+Cuties Doing Cute Things Try out Earth Birth ( Space Funeral 3 ), honestly really good. Though, SF2 is more of a statement than anything, on how the creator of the sequel wanted to make something as good, but couldn't, basically. Not really a game. Though, SF3 was WAY bigger than the original game. But yeah, there's about three sequels being worked on. SF4 & Bubsy, SF5 to the Moon & Bubsy ( I think that's what it was called ) and some other SF5 game.
I played the 2nd one. When I found out the original creator didn't make it though, I was sort of turned off by it. Same with 3. Maybe I'll try out 3 sometime though. But I don't know about 4 and 5. I'm not a huge fan of fan-made games or when people continue a series that the original creator stopped making. Hence the reason I'll probably never play "Earthbound 4" But thank you for the recommendations!
Cuties Doing Cute Things If it helps getting of this mentality, the original creator enjoyed both fangames for what they were, and does consider them canon to the series. As for Mother 4, just enjoy it for what it is. It's like not playing Majora's Mask because the game was written and all by Shig himself, or pretty much most of the Zelda games at this point. As, Shig is the og, and not Aonuma. Hell, Itoi himself gave the game a thumbs up for it to be finished, and has always pointed out that if Mother 4 were to be made, it wouldn't be by him, as he'd just want to be a player and enjoy the game itself. Don't let yourself miss out on possible gems. I'm sure you won't regret it in many cases.
***** Man sorry for the slight typo/mistake, I know Earthbound is just the localized named for Mother 2. I just tend to call the series Earthbound. And I view Mother 4 as an indie game. And I'm not a huge indie fan. I'm not trying to be an ass, that's just how I feel. Also, by Shig you mean Shigeru Miyamoto? Miyamoto is the original mind behind Zelda. So what's the big deal if Miyamoto is making all the Zelda games at this point? And yeah I heard about that. That still doesn't make me want to play it. The game is being described as "by fans for fans" and that means the game is gonna be exactly what the nostalgia ridden creators want the series to be. I guarantee it's not gonna feel like anything too amazing. It's just gonna be a sort of homage to Mother 2 and 3. With some random humor thrown in. You can't be a fan of the game and be guaranteed to be able to 100% capture the real series' charm.
I've never played space funeral so this song always makes me think of a 70's sitcom about a vampire that has human friends and lives in a small town in England. He tries to be scary, but he is so clumsy that the townsfolk always make fun of him, even when he is looking for a new victim
ppl in lisa lose women n go batshit, ppl in space funeral get turned into clown vomit nd its jus 'im gonna commit the same crimes' and we jus accept this
I just read the wiki page and it ssid that after the "change" (after the corruption started) most people somehow lost their memory and just live their new life style. (Except Leghorse and his brother, they somehow still remember their past lives.) (Pls tell me if I'm wrong or not my brain sucks at remembering things.)
I feel like I heard this once in an old flash game awhile ago, probably why I feel nostalgia for this track despite only discovering this game like a few days ago.
To me, this is THE theme. The one that describes Space Funeral. It's both weird and charming.
It really is
You have Tamariu too. Melancolic and still weird
To me, this is THE best example. The one that describes all the Stock comments on RUclips.
I'm privvy to scum vulage. Just my opinion, but this is my close second by a huge margin.
"Hello! Welcome to *MALICE*! We have many *GOODS* and *CRIMINALS*."
"welcome to the crap store, please enjoy our selection of garbage"

This song plays constantly, no matter what I do, I always can hear this theme playing.
If anyone doesn't get the in-joke of the area name, it's Town Called Malice (a song by The Jam)
Look through the weirdness, and Space Funeral is god-tier.
Especially the music.
8 years later: it's the weirdness that makes it god-tier
Happy 10th anniversary, Space Funeral!
This one sounds majestic.
You WORMS! You SLIME! Your barbaric ways are no match for the LEG HORSE!
Seeing this comment a year after a comment from the same person, for a game as old and niche as SPACE FUNERAL thrills me so much.
i just finished space funeral, like, today, and understand why lola used leg_horse as a username once.
off to play the 2nd one!
I think the most surprising thing about this area is when fighting criminals suddenly turns into a pokemon battle.
someone told me this song was a good audio tour of my personality, and this made me play the game
Have you liked it?

OH MY GOSH how can all those songs be so amazing!?
yooo look who i found at the 711
this music gives me chills that Im getting goose bumps from listening and brings out that sense of hoplessness but dangerous road for poor philip.
Why do the people just act normally, despite all the corruption?
How long ago was the corruption? Spoopy.
Nice Lisa picture! Mwah. Need more of people like you.
New Normals form fast.
better than letting everything go to complete shit *and* being stuck in ms paint vomit universe
ppl in lisa lose women n go batshit, ppl in space funeral get turned into clown vomit nd its jus 'im gonna commit the same crimes' and we jus accept this

This might be my favorite one
I want a 1 hour loop of this
I know I'm a year late but right click the video and click loop
Man... put it at 1.5 speed and it sounds so jolly...

Better than colour TV
This tune is too catchy for its own good. @_@
DOOM.
That's crazy talk. It's got to be a rumor.
Does anyone know how can I look up more of this type of music? Like similar artists or generes, I'm genuinely intrigued
Surprised this is on riffstation
