Hardly anyone gets arrested for drugs currently in ny. Ny has basically decriminalized it. They are also partially to blame.
If he was drunk instead should the liquor brand be held accountable? What about the car? Who sold him that car? Should the car salesman also be held liable?

Whether a drug dealer or a doctor who prescribed him whatever he was on it was on that man himself not to abuse it and then go on to operate a vehicle in an impaired state. Unfortunately he won't spend all 21 years in prison. He'll be out in no time. The laws do nothing to impaired drivers. These are not accidents. It's MURDER. These people intentionally drink, do drugs and get behind the wheel. They should be held accountable. This is such BS.

Similar case in Florida, man got 147 years in prison, but that’s after the case was taken to federal court, because the lower court only tried to give him 40 years.

Had a former friend who was racing another car and he slammed into a car killing 3 people and an unborn infant. He was looking at 10 years in prison, but got out in only 2 years.

22 yrs is not enough for all the lives he has ruined. His recklessness, lack of concern for human life, and drug use, he now gets 20 years and he will be out in 10 or less due to a faulty justice system.
So sorry for your loss. I've lost family too but I knew I had to forgive whomever for whatever reason. I knew if I didn't forgive them, God couldn't forgive me either. I saw that in the bible for myself in Matthew 6:14-15. I refuse to allow anyone to send me to hell for not forgiving them.
