I was married at eighteen and my wife was just fifteen! It wasn't as big a deal back then. We matured faster and grew up faster than today. Great old song! Thank you.

I was born in 1950, and as the 1960s began, I was starting to love and appreciate the music from the '50s!

Johnny Maestro was one of the greatest singers ever.. Very good songs. Trouble in Paradise, Step by Step. Angels listened in
Went to the Brooklyn Bridge late 60s. Big hit The Worst that could Happen, Welcome me Love, Free as the Wind( my favorite) Blessed is the Rain.

Thank you, I loved Johnny Maestro, he was with another group later on called the Brooklyn Bridge. Try listening to “The Worst That Could Happen. “. The back up singers were originally the Belmonts who were backup for Dion.

16 was the age when a girl was approved for courtship.Even though you could only sit on the couch with your mom sitting between you and your date.
