    Love the concept of the clear plastic and the extrusion frame. Well done!

    Great job man. An explanation of the wiring would be a good Part 2 because that's what we all need...thats why we are on youtube. Videos of the hardest part...wiring it all up once you add different components....videos of that would be a great companion video...loved the video.

    You should be selling this as a kit or a complete build. It's great looking, sounds good, and is portable.

      I've thought about that, but I'd need a bigger/more reliable CNC. Would be fun to have multiple colors too!

    great design aesthetic, yeah. i wouldn't worry about the acrylic flex interfering with your audio too much generally. its been a long time since i did any maths for volume/resonance/frequency response curves, but it may behoove you to add a open port or two [may vastly improve low-mid response as well as perceived loudness (DB) for same amp power settings] based on the measurements of cavity, or it could not. that is in no way anything but a little thought, and you may have even done it and i missed it, bc this is an amazing project!!! thanks so much for sharing your talents!!!

      Thank you so much for the comment! After a few months of use, I've noticed some noise from the acrylic rattling on the frame, so I've considered adding ports and now that you've mentioned it too, I'll definitely add them. Do you think it matters where on the speaker I add the ports?

    This is truly awesome, this is also the very reason i now own many printers and cnc routers for the fun budget friendly projects like this, i would like to size it up a bit and run 2 6.5" 3 way's with one maybe two passive radiator's i think a cheap amazon double din would be a nice touch!! Thanks for the amazing video!!

    I just ordered the electronics and hardware and have printed all the parts including the extrusions and panels to try this build.

      Awesome! You should make a build video about it, I’d love to check it out!

    Heeeeey 👉👈 do you think maybe I could get that fusion 360 file?

    • @ModernHobbyist
      @ModernHobbyist  Год назад

      So unfortunately, I only have the free version of Fusion 360 so I couldn't just share the project with you. Instead, I uploaded the relevant F360 files to the Thingiverse link, let me know if that works!
