@@OmerTheGreatOne Up2Stream Amps are capable of both Mono and Stereo. This could easily be made stereo and only difference would be making a pair of crossovers and few more cables. I'm not sure one on video is mono tho, part list shows 2 crossovers so that could mean this is actually stereo setup.
Thank you for your detailed information and sharing the plan. I have made one of mine inspired by you. Very happy that it turned out so well. This was my first time experience with so detailed sound. Truly stunned by the Dayton drivers’ performance.☺️🙌
Thanks! The speaker does sound great as a center speaker as I intended it to be. I could have mounted the tweeters on the sides of the panel but did not want to keep a blank space where the amplifier goes 😄
@@DonnyTerek If you are using it to play a single channel, as in a center channel, using two tweeters and two midranges does not make sense. A single tweeter and a single midrange would sound much better.
Nice job! :) 2:50 Correct use of a hole saw...drill from each side to prevent tear-out. I like that leather look for the front. It really gives the whole thing a professional standard look.
I like the leather look for the front. There are some things you did I would have liked an explanation of what and why but overall it looks like it turned out great. Thank you for the video.
Thank you for the video, shows how to make and decorate the speaker boxes in detail. Couldn't find the schematics following the link. Another thing, for a stereo speaker it is a bad idea to place tweeters one right next to the other, this way there will be no stereo effect.
This is a pretty neat little speaker build! One of the best ones I've seen. Good job. Only thing I might have done is added a battery pack, so you're not tethered to a 24V DC power supply.
Thank you! I did consider adding a battery pack to make it portable but since my intention was to only use it inside, powering it with a 24V supply is convenient enough. It also saves some space and overall dimensions without the battery pack.
@@DonnyTerek you could do what I did . By using my 18v cordless drill battery externally via a 3d printed battery adaptor ( plenty of choice for most popular brands) use an in-line fuse & terminate lead with your specific power plug. & Job done it's portable, you will lose a little output power due to the lower 18vdc input.
@@idrisjones1453 That is a really good idea. Being able to use a single battery pack for other devices other than power tools is great. The speaker would look a bit bulky with the battery on the outside but at least it would be portable.
Excellent beautiful finished. But: for any modern sound box or speaker cabinet, it's not compulsory, but it's much better to have atleast two bass boosting passive radiators of the same diameter of the woofers fitted.
DUDE YOU ROCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just bought a TV speaker bar I hooked It up to my computer I get so much feed back from the power plug you cant even listen to it ! is there anything I can do ????????
Hi Donny, very nice build! Question regarding the remote control: Does it work through the plexi at the backside of the box? I finished my first boombox last week, using the Arylic Up2stream Amp 2.1 board. The board has a 9pin breakout connector where you can connect an external IR sensor. I used a standard LED-shaped one with 38kHz 940nm and put it in the front panel. Works perfectly.
I always get some relax when I was watching videos like this great job dude take it personally because I didn't like it's really looking impressive and I bet you spend lot of time to build it 👊😎 so keep going forward with it
Daytons stuff isn't too bad tbf Heard some fairly high end sounding systems using Dayton drivers... At the end of the day the amps crossovers and box design play a massive role in a speakers sound
Thank you! These crossovers came assembled and already wrapped in foam. I'm actually not sure where you could get the foam, I guess an option would be to get some adhesive foam and wrap the cables in that.
Consider the cost of the build and that almost everyone with hobby skills should be able to make such a thing. This is not a HiFi speaker costing thousands of $.
Really awesome job! Did a similar project and included a battery pack so i can charge and use the speaker anywhere. It sounds great however everytime i turn it on, i hear a loud popping sound from the speaker, i guess i will need to put something between the power supply and switch to eliminate the startup popping sound?
Basically the most incredible I've seen in my entire life. And I do some serious woodworking. I'm super in to speaker systems too so this is my whole world perfected.
your build is so neat and tidy. did you also DIY the crossovers? i'm in process of making my own and can't decide on capacitance/resistance/inductance values. mind sharing them? :D
doing kind of a wacky bluetooth speaker build out of one of those old massive lense flashlights with a single 5.25” coaxial. looking for a simple 25-30w mono w/ bluetooth capabilities. any recommendations on where to find an amp board?
Awesome design, two such speakers would have been awesome, L + R speaker cabinets and should have lined the speaker inner walls with thick glass wool padding.
Workmanship is top notch
Thank you!

Hi
@@DonnyTerek hi
Hello
great video whats the reason for cutting the chamfer on the table saw instead of with your router ?
Beautiful. I'd prefer the tweeters to be on opposite sides and far apart though, so as not to lose the stereo separation.
Bluetooth does transmit stereo does it?
@@jimsdad3739 yes it does
It is a mono bluetooth reciever:

you will never get stereo out of 1 small box. Maybe if you tape it to your face..

Very nice work. Greetings from sunny Jamaica.

Great job! With all that work I probably would’ve sprung on better drivers. Also countersinking the plexiglass in the back would’ve been a nice look.
Thank you! Did not want the build to go over the roof with the price of more expensive drivers.

Very nice make.what is the size of the cabinet.very impressive
Thank you, you can find the build plans in the description with dimensions.
The tweeters need to be at the outer edges at least, if not angled slightly away from facing dead ahead. This won't give any stereo image at all.
Consider the cost of the build and that almost everyone with hobby skills should be able to make such a thing. This is not a HiFi speaker costing thousands of $.
Why two tweeters? It would cause a lot of issues with comb filtering. Really good workmanship!
Thank you! I just wanted to experiment.
What is the name of this material used to make the box? It doesn't look like wood to me
Its called MDF(medium density fiberboard)
Really awesome job! Did a similar project and included a battery pack so i can charge and use the speaker anywhere. It sounds great however everytime i turn it on, i hear a loud popping sound from the speaker, i guess i will need to put something between the power supply and switch to eliminate the startup popping sound?
That happens in car stereos if you don’t have soft power to your amp and it turns on quickly.
You can solve that problem with connecting huge capacitors between power rails.
Muito top! Feito com todo cuidado, dá até vontade de fazer também! Parabéns pelo trabalho!
Thank you!
Wow, amaizing in making work. 🌹👍🌹

I really like this piece.
Is there a wood cutting pattern?

The speaker sounds very clear and balanced, it also looks good. Good job!
Thank you!
I don't understand ! The amp is 2x 50 watts and tweeter is only 20 watts .It not supposed to be higher then 50 watts to support the max amp power?
More precisely, how much power must the crossovers have for these woofers?
Great job. Can 2⃣ of these work together(synchronized) like one?
Thanks! If using the same Up2Stream amp in each, then yes!
Спасибо большое за видео приятно смотреть
