Just saw it today I cried. I’m 55 now and still love dance since I was a kid and until now their are still many who was amazed when I danced at my age now still love to dance but my body can’t go to the flow as what I want that’s why I cried for joy for an 80 yrs old to danced as she could. After the older lady and her partner finished dancing, She made me cry. I haven't cried in a very long time. I lost my little sister to Cancer, and we were very close. It's been 8 months now and I still haven't cried. Not that this has anything to do with their dancing, I was just starting to think I couldn't cry anymore. 2019 has taken a toll on me physically and spiritually. I thought I would never cry again. My tears were of joy for the older lady for following her dreams. I still have tears, but they only flow when I see the, joy in the eyes of another. Keep dancing Sweet Lady, and run from sadness. Don't ever let it catch up with you, to steal your smile away.

I'm so appalled at the judges attitude at the beginning and I'm so glad that they were shown up for their attitudes. I think that Nico has a great attitude and Paddy is a lovely lady. When I feel a bit glum, I watch this to make me feel happy :D

Ah that grandma owns my whole heart , if i had seen this few years back I would have shown this to my own granny , i am sure she would have enjoyed watching this as much as i did 🥺♥️.

*I would like to point out,* that _all women are forgotten, passed over, and become _*_INVISIBLE_*_ past a certain age._ It starts in our late 50s and continues for the rest of our lives. Becoming more and more ignored every day.
I have made it my mission to shop during church hours where I live. That is when the 60+ population shop. Even masked it is still important to acknowledge all women (especially when their alone), smile anyway since your face shows it, and ask her how she is.
*We are your sisters, aunts, MOTHERS, grandmothers and so on.*

Wow! I relate very well to what you said. I'm mid 40s. Mistaken for 20s. Single. I experience one of two things, women either mistreat me, or ignore me, because of jealousy or Envy. On the other hand, men in general are intimidated. So they dont speak to me. So usually, I'm ignored, and I'm a Loner. But I just deal with it, and ignore everything else. And laugh to myself, because I figured, the more I get hated on, it's the more I thrive. And shine bright like a diamond. Literally!

I like to sing and dance to the store music. *Not obnoxiously. That often get others joining me.
We have one life and I am going to live it! Once in awhile I will take my mom to run her errands. When she cannot find me, she calls out a Loon call. I respond appropriately, in Loon. I know, it's completely Loonie. :)
I _do_ have a boyfriend of almost a decade, but am always in a place of being able to just leave if I want to. Purging 4 times a year and keeping all my stuff in plastic bins.
*When we go shopping together I will dance at him and lip sync behind his back. Sometimes he catches me. He gets so embarrassed. I just want him to loosen up a little! He has no idea how fleeting life is.
I lost my Father when I was 26 and he was 52 after a 4 year battle with cancer. I grew up an only child with a single Dad. His illness and death was so profound for me, I stopped caring about what people think of me. However if you make me feel like crap, I do not need you in my life.

Be strong, go back to yoga, exercise, whatever. Then when we finally get out of self-quarantine, we will follow our dreams!

That beautiful 80 year old lady is amazing. I can relate to her life as a dancer. I have been a ballroom dancer ever since I can remember, not professionally. I just love to dance. The secret is really to have a great partner. Your partner is there to show you off and make you look good to the audience on the dance floor. I learned that from my first dance instructor. To trust your partner completely, that he won't let any harm happen to you when he swirls or throws 0 you around. Then I had a stroke in 2014 which put me on a wheel chair. I am now 86 and I miss dancing so very much.
So I take my hat off to that lady, keep it up, if you made it this far, and still dancing you are so lucky. God is good. Keep going my dear.

If the person you called 'granny' (She would be a great-grandma at least, as I became a grandmother at 44) is the best you've ever seen, you haven't watched a lot of dance. That being said, for her age she is pretty incredible, isn't she? My parents (around the same age) and any/all of their friends couldn't do anything even remotely similar.

14:00 my brother and I grew up in ballroom dance and I am SO grateful to my parents for putting us in dance ... they remind me of us when we were their age and her "faces" remind me so much of my brother lol his face was always so animated when he used to perform/compete. Love it.
