Guys, there's an old game about exploring the outer planets that I couldn't recall its name. I played it in the 1990s on PC. It was like a semi-real-time STG, that can move and attack by rounds. You have a base in the game, in witch you can "cultrue" pilots for the vehicles and building different fighting vehicles. The pilots are sort of bio-created organisms that have different intelligences in different appearances. The lower-level pilots are like embryos, even monoplasts; The highest-level pilots are just in human form ( I remember one very similor to the captain of the terrain battlecruiser in Starcrafts) .You can build different type of combat vehicles in the factory. When you chose one design, the model will walk into the centre and start rolling exhibition. There was also different kind of vehicles, the small ones are like the walkers in Star War movie, and the big ones are like the AT-ATs. You can choose different weapons for them , there were lasers, cannons and so on. There were turrets in a cirlce out of your base. When you wanna start a mission, you launch a rocket in the rocket yard with a CG footage. When in loading phase, the mouse cursor changes to a clock icon.
Those who can't support these games. Let's go back to Windows 98 and Windows xp games like Doom, Duke Nukem, die hard nakatomi plaza, magic farm, westward, virtual villagers, puzzle games. These games can totally support your pc if you can't even play these games

I enjoy older games, not just because I have a low-end PC, and I'm glad when others feel the same way. By the way, playing with high graphics and 60+ fps is a completely different experience compared to playing in 800x600 resolution with low graphics.

No no dude I know it feels the same for me, but actually there's another factor other than how good the graphics looks that determines whether you can run the game smoothly or not, it also depends on how optimized the game is, theoretically, no matter how amazing the graphics of a game is, and no matter how heavy it looks, if it is optimized to the maximum extremity of optimization, you can run it on an actual potato. Not a potato laptop or pc, an actual potato, the vegetable.
If this is your standard, just save up some money to get a decent pc pls. Or play some really old games like indie

I arrived here not necessarily looking for a low-spec game, but rather searching for a new game that would reignite the joy I used to experience when I played games as a child. However, after spending almost an entire day searching online, I am starting to realize that none of the games that used to bring me happiness or the ones I discovered today have caught my attention even in the slightest.
I can officially say that I am no longer a gamer.

Just because GTA 4 is a poorly optimized game doesn't mean it can't run on a low spec PC. I played it with an Intel HD 2500, which is quite weak, and it ran at 25-40 FPS

Just tried to run Crysis on modern PC and it almost made a frying pan out of my GPU lol
then there must be something wrong, Crysis has more cpu problems then gpu
Okay, the Crysis is running badly basically on any PC, no matter what kind of specs... but physics in Crysis is badass. And now let's look at modern games like the new Far Cry games; no physics, everything feels static. 😥

I used to have a laptop that couldn't even run roblox or some web games without lagging so I only played cs 1.6 on it. I finally got a better laptop with a dedicated GPU thank god 😭🙏
