That's not fully true. For example, the first game, Splinter Cell Blacklist, needs 25 GB. However, nowadays, SSDs are pretty cheap, so this shouldn't be a big problem!

i opened this video thinking I would get some new games to get on steam and play them only to realize i own 80% of the games shown here and i havent finished them yet
@Ciffer-1998witcher 2 was out in 2011, to play max settings, gtx1050ti is recommended, that came out in 2015! 4 years later. I had it as a birthday present off my brother and remember having to search a guide to make it playable on my older computer and there were A LOT of articles about it causing issues on high settings back then.
A typical CD Projekt Red game, unoptimized at launch, full of bugs... but the developer fixes it, we get quality DLCs, and in the end, it becomes a GOAT
Nice but all the same genres war / slash/ kill and racing. How about Subnautica? (glorieus) Or games like Astro Colony and Hydroneer? Will run on low spec.
I suggest the games I like, so they probably won’t be your type. But many RUclipsrs focus on indie games because they get more sponsored offers there... so you'll find what you're looking for with them.
I really love the way some splinter games play like, just like watching a movie…. I played the first games on a keypad Java phone and double agent pc that’s where I got into it and I had an old ps2 which I put 2 splinter cell games in it with high hopes until I played it and it was really confusing, because I spent hours looking to progress, the first mission was on a cave and the second was a submarine with lots of stairs, rooms and levels and I had to kill a target and I did wipe out the entire ship and I shot some of them while I knocked a few but still didn’t finish the target and then I was really frustrated because I had to search for the knocked out target and shoot him again and that’s how I deleted it that night itself 😂 I started sweating and had the urge to puke…. The pc version of double agent wasn’t this confusing, it did have some stairs and rooms but it wasn’t that confusing maybe it’s because of the modern graphics but it was fun unlike the older splinter cell versions. But I don’t like the ps2 versions or the older because

The fact that the game is wildly stuttering is normal, but the fact that it doesn't open is also a common error that can be fixed quickly, but if you have a really weak PC, then you probably need to accept your PC life.
Name the exact model because if the i3 10th Gen CPU has an integrated GPU, it is definitely stronger than the GT 610 (2GB VRAM doesn’t matter much if it’s slow GDDR3)
I wouldn't play Ryse Son of Rome on an Intel HD card. Well, it's possible, but I'm guessing it won't look nearly as good as seen in this video. Sick 360 on Dirt Rally! One of these games is not like the others... (BKB2) I think you have the Bioshock 2 and Bioshock labels swapped. It's kind of funny that this is the level of games I'm sticking to on my 4GB 1050 ti anyway.
Ryse: Son of Rome surprisingly runs well on a low-end laptop like the i3-4005U (Intel HD 4400) because the later versions of CryEngine are well-optimized, and the game still looks good on low graphics settings. 😉
Yes, I wrote in the video description: GT 1030, GTX 750 Ti, or GTX 1050 Ti is recommended for these games if you want to play on high settings. However, by the end of 2024 and early 2025 even these are considered "low spec." Technology has improved a lot, so low-end gaming's evolved. It's like in the car industry: before, a seatbelt was an extra, but now it's required by law to be in the "standard package." 😙
And Dirt Rally. (I think) this game is still the best rally sim to this day, with very detailed physics and car damage. It's also well-optimized; I even tried it with different PCs. Intel HD 2500 (360p/low/30fps), GT 1030, 1080p/mid/60fps. Also, the 360 you saw in the video is really badass! (The driver is very skilled) 😏

Guys, there are so many shooter subgenres, like first person, third person, tactical, hero, looter, arena, rail, bullet hell, cover-based, stealth, survival, twin-stick, vehicle, zombie, battle royale, cyberpunk, space, mech, military..etc Sp calling them just “rattataataata, boom, boom” is a bit unfair, because anything you love could be simplified like that too
So, is it surprising that a 17-year-old game works on a low-end PC? I’ve tested it on different hardware over the years, and it’s playable - just don’t expect 4K ultra at 144 FPS
If your GPU supports Vulkan, DXVK can improve stability. For older GPUs, tweaking the config file, like disabling shadows, helps a lot. Don’t give up on GTA 4 just because it's poorly optimized - it can run on almost any potato PC

I played that game at 960x540, low settings on Intel HD Graphics 4600 (which is powerful as GT 710) and I got around 30-45 FPS while recording
