I wonder how many of these were on the Fremantle Highway or The Felicity Ace? If none that’s great. We do know an EV sank the Felicity Ace with 3800 EV’s on board and the Fremantle Highway was badly damaged by an EV and some were still smouldering 4 weeks later. These were great cars when they had diesel engines. They used to have a range of more than 1100 kilometres then and now around 600 kilometres if you don’t run your air conditioner running all the time. A truely marvellous improvement.Great work Mercedes I wish you every success.😂😂😂😂😂😂
I've a BMW with idrive 6 and looking at the software in the Mercedes I was wondering if that is a lot easier to use than the new idrive 8 which seems to have a lot of apps?
It should be illegal to put HVAC controls into a computer screen, other than that this is a pretty cool car. It would be useless here in Alaska but I still like it. Yeah it snows 7 months out of the year here and drops down to -65f so electric vehicles don't work, and touch screens are pretty useless in extreme cold, also driver safety features are useless here because in the winter the road only exists with a person ahead of you has driven, you frequently make your own road, you don't see the actual road for about 7 months due to snow and ice, and it's often a hundred plus miles between towns, in some cases it's nearly 500 miles between towns, so you can't really rely on infrastructure to keep your vehicle going. Obviously Anchorage is different, but Anchorage is a pinprick in the size of Alaska, Alaska is the size of Western Europe lol. I love all your videos Howard, your sense of humor is awesome
Is the steering wheel still offset in right hand drive versions ??? ) the Mercedes star on the steering wheel is not at the centre of your chest . It was disappointing that Mercedes couldn’t be bothered adjusting the factory to cater for right hand drive vehicles.
