  • In This Brand New Adventure, Sayu Rinpoche crosses half of the globe and for the first time ever, landing in the Southern Hemisphere after a not so memorable flight over the notorious Bermuda Triangle (because of sleeping through an overnight flight, of course!). Before the adventure could officially kick off, Sayu Rinpoche realized something went terribly wrong that could put this entire series in jeopardy....
This video will talk about a brief layover in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the easiest way to get SIM Card & SUBE Card as soon as you arrive, the most convenient way to get to Buenos Aires from Ezeiza Airport (via Cabify or Uber), and the easiest way to get Argentine pesos with the blackmarket rate....There will be a lot of information before we take off for the upcoming adventure, so fasten your seatbelt and learn a bit of background of why the country is called "Argentina" and the truth behind the currency blackmarket that everyone in Argentina will inevitably deal with at one point...

OK Sayu! Wow, you know, I've been watching another young youtube guy named Auston, who came to Argentina a week or so back, but MAN, I was not expecting you to end up there. Congratulations, hope you're having a good time, and stay safe. You know that place, despite the financial problem, is getting on people's radar as a place to immigrate to-so I'm not super duper surprised it had such an impactful initial feel for you.
It was many, many years ago I did my Venezuela trip-I'd have to look at a map to see if it's in the Southern Hemisphere, I don't think it is, but I WAS in the jungle for a bit and I'm sure we were in Brazil partially. But hey man, you made it!
Still hammering out this new channel, but another week or 2 and it'll be up-I'll let you know in...let's say a month, how it went...

Hello Bob hope things are well! I'll be spending more than a week in Argentina haha so there will be quite a bit of things coming (tbh, two weeks doesn't scratch the surface of this massive yet amazing country). Man you kept mentioning Venezuela - just by being there is an accomplishment itself because you have no idea how hard it is to go there nowadays, especially for Americans and Canadians! For your reference, the equator passes through "Ecuador" (which literally means Equator), and essentially anywhere you have been south of Quito, its capital city is in Southern Hemisphere. Anyways good to see you man and good luck with your new project & channel. Keep us posted 🙏

      @@SayuRinpoche Thanks for the info.
I did want to mention something-I heard you pronounce "Montreal" and it was not like I'd ever heard before. I can see you're very comfortable with multiple languages-so I started wondering if that was how locals or French speakers pronounce it....I know that's an odd thing to take away from all that wonderful footage you showed, but that's what caught my ear (insert one of your wacky sound effects here).

It's a BIDET! Most bathrooms in Argentine hotels have them. Toilet and Bidet.

13:01 There's no fake pesos. The government wouldn't allow it. They want exclusivity.
