You can start with their most view songs, but for King Gnu I personally recommend 三文小説 (sanmon shosetsu), the melody is beautiful from the beginning.
It's kind of a laid-back, yet very sexy, cool, sultry song. And it screams bad-bish yet not even tyring hard. I love this one, they set themselves apart.
I absolutely loved it.. this laid back, chill and yet boss mode approach is so amazing.. sometimes.. the girl crush concepts with heavy songs kind of all start to sound the same, trying to hard kind of vibe.. but THIS, is just 🥰🤍😎 like we know it and don‘t need to brag kind of vibe, I just love it.

This group is a new girl group by Avex, all made up of Japanese people. Avex is the most famous and representative entertainment agency in Japan. It has nothing to do with YG.
I like them. Different and solid. Not a banger or a hit for me off the gate but for wat they were going for they accomplished. Definitely peaks my interest for what they have going forward. Maybe its because they look so young is whats throwing me off. Talent is not a question with this group. Cross my fingers they can keep all the members together moving forward for years to come. Cheers to their debut! Some new music to listen to its a win win for me.
They did good, but the singing part is too short. I need to replay it just to understand the message of the song and also repetitive. Catchy and will do its job as a debut song but either way, the vocals is really good, quiet but bold statement. They're probably the first JPOP group I will actually follow since I like their concept so hoping for more projects for XG

If you have to make a clear distinction, call J-K-pop. LOL

In Japan. This debut confused me because I got a Japanese vibe from them, but this style of song is more something I see in Kpop. And the English lyrics! When Japanese songs have English lyrics, it feels like they just want to get cool points in Japan, not speak to the rest of the world. I'm here for it though. A Jpop group on the international stage. Yeah, need to repeat it for 2 times just to really grasp onto the message of the song but the tippy toes part, I just hope they didn't make it that repetitive, could be avoided but they chose to do it that way bu then again its just the beginning for XG so yeah the lyrics will improve

From what I read, XGALX (XG's company) is a company under both YGE and AVEX Group Japan. And XG is their collab group that they've been working on since 2017. But whichever is true, XG rocks!

For me, I am not even getting K-Pop/J-Pop vibes from them. They give off "Fifth Harmony" and "Little Mix" vibes to me.
