People always underestimate Logistics in this game. At the end of the day the Infantry Sections need to do their jobs and take/hold the points, but a good Logi makes all the difference. I have had some great games as logi and some downright shit games as logi that impacted the outcome. Edit: I also despise when people treat the MSPs as Logis responsibility...lol...we ain't the ones that need or actively use it.

We were paniced about the trucks and tried to fortify southern position with a FOB aafter crossroads fell. Love logistics. EDIT: At 27.21 I run past you in the bush. You didn't take the shot. Thank god for that

Interresting how the 88mm takes so many shots to kill a Sherman. If a shell penetrates, it should at least be debilitating depending on which part was hit. There should be crew as a component that can be taken out.
Typical Commander. Good commanders are like "what do you need Squad Able?" And then liaise with other squads and find out who needs the most urgent assistance and coordinate them via the squad leaders at their own discretion. It's basically just a radio man kind of gig. Get the big picture, translate it to everyone.

You do realize HLL has a complex logistics system, right? Resources, nodes, commander assets, artillery, etc. Entire sections of the map dedicated to the generation of a specific resource.

Whoa I actually didn't read that right. Didn't know we were taking about hll. I barely even realized hll has logi. I mean they have the engineer but it's no squad and having a squad and logo trucks dedicated to it makes it so much more fun. Then again I've never played logi in he'll let loose. I like the visibility in he'll let loose. People blend in really well and it makes it feel a lot more real in that aspect. Camo uniforms do their job lol.

It's nice to build up a point for when the enemy attacks though. There's been a few times where we have basically slapped down like 3 MGS 2 at guns and blocked most major entrances torwards the enemy spawn and made a nice little kill box. Being on a mortar team is hella fun too. Get like 3 mortars in a room while command or a scout calls off marks and watching hell rain from above and bodies start flying is very entertaining. Not much combat though so it's probably boring for most people. Kinda like a base building, strategy mini game lol.
OKAY!!! Now that the ordinance is talking,... I'm listening!!! OBVIOUSLY I like big guns. Would like to see more of the cannon and artillery play if possible. Thanks!!
the ps5 and xbox series x will be powerful enough to run this so the future looks hopeful especially when the devs see how many people on consoles want this game plus they can add crossplay lot of work and money for indie devs but i think it would be worth it

Has anyone actually taken the time to figure out how to use these cannons in an indirect fire capacity? I can't believe that no one has tried this, I just think it's a waste to use these guns in a direct fire capacity when it takes so long to set them up, and then they're very exposed when you DO have them up and hard to move
I actually did, and we were able to weaken enemy defense for our infantry to take the objective pretty smooth. It just takes a good spotter and clear communication.
The Flak 88 wasn't an arty piece or even a direct fire piece, it is as the name implies: A FLAK GUN! it shoots timed fused charges straight up towards bombers in order to damage them, persuade them to retreat, or at least make their bombs less accurate. It was NEVER intended to be fired like an arty piece especially as a direct fire weapon... but since Rommel made good use of it against the British, everyone now uses a wayyyy too complicated and over engineered piece of anti-air as a tank trap.
are the sever pings still bad for this game i remember other dudes and i having this problem with an update making it unplayable for USA severs and if i remember even then you get like 2 USA sever and some other British severs and i think for some of those sever you gotta be on late at night which kinda sucks because i like to wake up in the morning but i dont wanna have to que for a long time to find a game that may have bad ping to play which sucks but i heard other severs regions still able to play which is nice but i might have to move on to hell let loose for another ww2 simulator but i did like post scriptum more but it did suck when that one update went out i remember being British commandos taking and ambushing vehcs down the road

The actual 88 (The stationary AA emplacement version, not the version on board the Tiger or Tiger 2), has a rate of fire of 15-20 RPM (depending on crew), that's one shot every 3-4 seconds. The thing has a sort of semi automatic reloading mechanism.
Ridiculous that you can just build stuff out of thin air, should be forced to tow artillery into position with a truck or half track, then assemble it if needed.
I really need a PC, i'm tired of battlefield V and the consoles, fucking battlefield V is really fucked at the moment, there's tryhards that couldnt download warzone and all use the same fucking guns, I need a Game like this much more realistic

@@Casmaniac downloading random stuff from online isn't smart, you probably got yourself a whole bunch of bloatware from such habits, and viruses. All you have to do to skip RUclips ads is to drag the play bar all the way to the end, let it load and then press the return button that pops up in the middle. Shazam..you got a video with no ads
@ I've had it for three years now, it works perfectly. I also use malwarebytes and that's a good program to get rid of, well, malware and such. Adblock plus is legit and free. But hey, just sayin, I don't work for them or anything

before the Armour Update it used to be one shot kills. Now the 88's go straight through. Ammo racks are a thing of the past.

with the advent of APCR ammo for the 88, it became a standard choice as an Anti Tank weapon in fixed defences.
