11M shows 12W on my box so even tho 1/2 size up from Nike sizing it didnt really seem it. Really enjoy the simplicity of the silhouette and the materials. Copped this and the talc cw for different fit options. Nice review. Might grab the bsktball 1 in 11.5 even at tts 10.5 nike.

Hey Sean, ive been wondered should i go half size up in nike size or adidas size, my TTS in nike's 10.5 and adidas's 11.5

I think people that thought this would be closer in pricing to Essentials didn't really cop from the fog mainline or eternals stuff or consider that on the Adidas end it would hedge closer to Y3 gear.
Still copped my Basketball 1's and the talc lows though
I get people saying they are mid since they reslly ate but i think the styling anf wearability is very good for how much they are
FYI, you left out the California runner silhouette, which is way lighter than the 86 Lo and more breathable with some ripstop panels instead of being all suede on the upper. It’s also more flexible without the high sidewalls of the midsole, so it’s more wide foot friendly and can be TTS.
You also missed the sesame colorway of the Basketball, which is a Fear of God site and LA popup exclusive. Def size up at least half a size or a full size on those. Easily the best of the 3 models for rockin.

I have a slightly wide feet. Do you still recommend true to size? I normally go half size up on dunk sbs and yeezy 350 v2s/500s and TTs for everything else. Thank you in advance for answering.
Yea I go up half in 350s as well and I’m TTs on these
I have a wider foot, and also go 1/2 size up on Dunks. I went 1/2 size up and they fit well for me. I little room on the toes, but fit perfect on the pinkie toe areas, they run narrow, like a dress shoe. I used cushioned dress sock makes it fit perfect for me. I ordered from Adidas to make sure I could return them if they didn't fit.
I personally want the Talc colorway, but on sale. Its almost identical in color to that OG Yeezy 750. It's a really nice shoe, but i'm not sure about that $200 price tag.
Hi, I'm not a sneakerhead (Just found out who the designer is*)but Jordans rule December especially the 11's and trying to get those prices right now with this economy with a niche line is hard, what may have been better is to have focused on the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop with Run DMC and bboys graffiti artist fab5 Freddie etc with superstars and fly gear(I used to be a electric boogie -Popper in crews in Boston/NC in the 80's). Everyone else said go half a size up and that’s what I did. Praying there not too big😮. I got the talc, sesame, and both basketball pair. Whatever I don’t like I’ll resell for retail.

I ordered true to size too and was worried... but they definitely fit so going a half Size up wouldn't be the route to go... I think on the basketball shoe you go half Size up because Jerry literally posted this on his IG... I stuck with 2 pairs of the rivalry because it's the best of the bunch imo

I ordered half size up UK9.5/US10 because that's what I usually do with the regular Adidas Rivalry but there was too much space in the toe box.
Swapped for my Adidas tts UK9/US9.5.

Jerry and Adidas could not have picked a worse time to drop this release. The sneaker and consumer market has slowed dramatically, and most of us can't stomach paying that kind of prices for apparels and sneakers.
I think this collection is tremendous, and had this been dropped even a year ago, they would've flew off shelf. Timing is everything.

I think the sneaker/resale market won't ever be as big as the stimmy season when everyone had an extra band to spend, but it definitely would have been bigger if it dropped earlier
Specifically 2021 after he previewed that yellow hoodie and essentials was becoming mainstream. He wouldn't even had to have released a full collection. Just a few pieces to start it off to establish the identity and pricing

Mine just arrived and went with .5 size up. Probably could have went TTS.
With its price point, I was expecting it to be more comfortable. It’s actually not that comfortable to walk with this shoe if you go for a several blocks! It’s more like a hang out shoe inside a house or bar
The black ones are sitting I think, they havent launched at my area yet, only the clothing line wich is more expensive that FOG own clothes by a mile.

The Athletics line sits above Essentials and below the Main line. I think too many of these kids think Essentials is the Main line lol.

Materials are top quality, I like the lace lock, thick premium laces, nice original shape, clever midsole design, awesome neutral colour iykyk branding…. I don’t get why they aren’t more sought after

Quite plain. To be fair most of his more recent stuff has been. I loved his vans he originally did, and that is how I got into what he does. I liked the nikes too. I don't really care for any of his stuff. Glad everyone likes it. I copped Harry Potter Reebok instead.

No hype on these which again is awesome for those who really want it but for this same reason why a lot of people didn't cop is they can't make money out of it. Don't say it's the retail price because Yeezy 700s a few years back retailed for $300 and sells out because again people can make money out it. If you them then buy them and honestly it should be like these for all sneakers.

I don’t hate these, but I won’t buy them. I appreciate the subtlety, but I feel like these need the full FoG+Adidas outfit to really shine, and there’s no way I’m paying that much or reping the brand that hard anytime soon. This shoe is stuck in this weird position for me where it’s not enough of a flex by itself and it’s way too much of a flex with the full outfit. They’re caught between a broke rock and a hype-beast hard place.

FOG has always shared too much design language with YEEZY without the nuance or boldness. Glad people who dig it can cop, but I have never enjoyed anything by Jerry Lorenzo. Love your reviews and this channel though.

Pointed sneaker squeezing toes is never comfortable specially if your foot shape is far from it's form. This shoe is just like lebrons which are pointed at the middle. It's why i never and will ever buy shoes like these pointed toe unfriendly ones😩
