Cancelled our drink package and a couple of other things and picked up some 10% off gift cards through AARP and repurchased all for our December cruise. Appreciate the info!
Hell yes! That’s what I like to hear! Congrats on being a cheap old person now! Go get that social security shit before it runs out now!
@@NoPantsProfits 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What a great hint never knew you can do that, also always thought you had to be old.gonna sign up and do some carnival cruising.
Nope.... anyone can sign up! Lol
U the man Richard! You sold me on this and it worked. Hoping to meet you on the Celebration in April!
If it’s on the 28th I’ll be there!
This is exactly what I was looking for... thanks for explaining and showing us how to do this! Just bought my first 3... $150 in savings yay!
Glad I was helpful.... I wanted to make a video that others would not and have not made yet.
To be clear, the gift cards can not only be used onboard, they can be used to book your cruise.
150%!
Just a heads up man. All of your card info can be seen when you process the order in the video
It's a dummy privacy.com credit card that I nuked right after the video! Thanks!
Will be getting aarp paid account at 38!!! Woo hoo thanks for the information...i fo have a free online account already didn't know if i bought the subscription i could save that much or as any at all on carnival! Thank No Pants Profits!! I appreciate it very much bro 😁
Is 500 the lowest domination you can purchase?
Nope. You can do $100 too!
Awesome!
@@NoPantsProfitsok thanks i just re-watched the video and noticed you mentioned it also 😂
You have your credit card info in this video. You need to fix that before someone steals it. It is at 8:54 in the video
My husband and I looove your videos!! He is wanting to do 10k in gift cards… use about 2k and then cash out the rest at the end of the cruise… but I’m sooo worried they will not let us and only give us credit on a Carnival gift card.. which would be a problem lol
Any tips or reassurance on this? Thanks!!!
Zero tips or reassurance, I'd buy them onboard as needed. I do NOT work for carnival. I've never had an issue before but I'm also a gambler! Celebrity did change their policy, carnival has not YET! I would NOT buy that much up front, buy them onboard as you need them, they will not change policy mid-cruise. Yes you will need WiFi to do this either onboard or in the port or via cellular!
New Sub here. Love your channel. Does AARP do other cruise lines? Any advice on deals for Princess?? we cruise them twice a year. TYTYTY
8% off princess and holland!
@@NoPantsProfits I joined aarp with your link but cant find the 10% Canirval deal.
@@pinballguruit's a bit buried.... I wish I could link to it but that's not the way the site works. You need to find gift cards and scroll all the way down in the "rewards" section. It's like a bad flash page so I cannot give you the direct link unfortunately, we bought some under 24 hours ago... so they are still there! 😊
@@NoPantsProfits TYTYTY , I found it. Man its buried. Princess is even worse . LOL. How do we follow you on cruises?? Would love to buy you a few drinks. Great channel man. Gonna do your wheel of fortune trick. We have 3 upcoming.
🤔 thinking... Can i use cruise cash in the casino? Can i cashout cruise cash in the casino?
I didn't say that part out loud.... but yes!
$500 pre cruise and unlimited once onboard. Charge $300.... spin one time. Cash out.
@@NoPantsProfits good as cash. Thanks!
Hi Richard just a question. Can I use these after the deposit has been made and I have a card on file to pay the balance. Wish I would have known before. But I have multiple cruises saved. Would be big if I can change the payment type.
You can just buy cruise cash with them too! Not sure you can switch card once you pay. I’ve legit never done it that way before! Bit you can put $500 cruise cash on each cruise or use for any other orders. I think if you setup another payment method you are stuck with it for the base fare.
@@NoPantsProfits but with us both being degenerates it would work as cruise cash there too I presume.
$500 before the cruise and unlimited on the little carnival ATMs onboard. Degenerates unite!
Just tried this past two days and keep getting error message from AARP "We're having an issue completing your purchase. This however does not mean your purchase did not go through and your card may be charged a hold. Please try again or call (800 number)." Tried yesterday and today with different browsers and on PC and phone...won't go through and no confirmation..but they still charge my card??
Been buying every day for the past 2 weeks on an android phone... strange!
If I load a grand total of $9.5k from AARP gift cards onto my Sail/Sign card on the 1st and 2nd days, can I cash that out with NO fees or problems if I only gamble $3k of it or even less of it.
Zero issues.... it's the Bidenflation reversal act!
Can they be used on ALL room charges. Such as a $5,000 room charge from Martingaleing?
I’ve done it before… friendly advice…. Keep your entire bill under 10k….. gets an IRS laundry fork if over 10k
Can I use a carnival gift card on Princess? Thx
You cannot. But princess sells their own at 7% discount.
Would you know if Australia has their version of aarp
I don’t believe they do, but I do believe some of your membership only warehouse clubs sell at a slight 4-5% discount. I’m cruising there in 2025 so it may benefit me to find out! My research just surfaced this…. But it is American google: Am on the Splendor now and was told last night I could not use Carnival Gift cards on cruises in Australia.
@@NoPantsProfits yeah awesome thanks heaps yeah I'll be going on the splendor in 2025 March from Sydney Australia. My first one for my 40th.
I do not see these on AARP now
They sometimes come on and off…. I’ll check! Yes it’s still there, I just went to buy, I cannot send you a direct link, but login and click rewards and scroll down, I just bought a $450 one with $500 in value for my next cruise.
Cruise cash caps at $500 a room right?
Pre cruise yes.... onboard there is no limit.
@@NoPantsProfits you da man
