- Comedian Bill Murray held court on his final hole at Spyglass Hill Friday. Playing with a damaged knee that will need surgery, Murray toughed it out and entertained for nearly 10 minutes on the green and among the gallery. Playing with portly partner Tim Herron, Murray performed gag after gag for the fans. We captured the bit and wanted to share it with you.
Bill Murray is a man with a generous heart, who cares for us "regular folks." He tears down that giant snob-wall between celebrity and everyday people. He isn't just funny, he is fun. There is a difference and he knows it. He understands the human condition, despite his wealth and being in the public eye. You can't say that about many people rich or poor. ⛳ ♥️
We just lost pro golf teacher Bill Malley last August. He was my best friend in the eighties and then he moved to Arizona.
Rest in peace sweet William! he was only 71 at his passing.

He is quite a good golfer though, and a good athlete. Many don't know this, but when he was younger he was almost a major league baseball player, a catcher.
