Having never been to the fair I thank you very much for sharing this video. What I especially appreciate is that you showed the grounds and the buildings and the various areas available to the public. It's also funny to note that at 22:50 I saw that an old friend's band was playing on Friday night as the headliner! Small world

There is a DuQuoin state fair here in Illinois going on till the 5th of September. This is more southern Illinois so it's just country stuff but I like to go for the food 😋

that spider and Hurricane is own by a fair compony called Fun Time Shows I know them two because they come to my fair in augests called the Campbell Missouri Peach Fair :D
I've only been to the Minnesota State Fair, where it's packed shoulder to shoulder with people. I didn't realize it's not like that in other states where not as many people attend.

I have done Kansas an Minnesota's old mill rides. Unfortunately I did not do Iowa's.

I wonder how come they did not have Fun Time Shows Rock-O-Plane at that state fair because they own two Rock-O-Planes as well

This was not a "full tour" of the Illinois state fair as you didn't go in or around the grandstand or go into conservation world and missed other sites and exhibits...I guess it gave some highlights it was o.k. overall.

So what is your state fair count??
FL, DE, NJ, NY, PA (Back when they had a lame official state fair that was basically just a carnival), VA, IL, MN, WI, IA, NE, IN, OH and the Northern GA
So 13 or 14
Also been to the Cal Expo and the LA County fair which are both huge as well as the York and Bloomberg fair which both are the closest thing to a state fair in Pennsylvania
@@TheCoasterSpot I'm stuck on 29 State Fairs, 2 National Fairs, 1 World's Fair so far. I plan on going to The New location of the Michigan State Fair Labor Day Weekend in Novi. I went to MSF when it was held in Detroit.
@@TheCoasterSpot My 2 Association of Pennsylvania fairs are York fair, I went for the 250th anniversary, and The Great Allentown fair. I need to get to Bloomsburg fair.
I have been to the Georgia State fair when it was held in Macon, and the Georgia National Fair, which in my opinion is the best fair in the State of Georgia.
Wow the rides really stink this year. Our Illinois State Fair sucks. We don't have any big rollercoasters and not 1 single dark ride and of course the coolest looking ride, disko wasn't running.
