I've been to the Wisconsin State fair me and my 4-H club had a skit that got to perform the the Wisconsin State fair in 2018. That was my first time going to the Wisconsin State fair and I had a blast

..The Wisconsin State Fair is unique in that 2022's fair is has roots from the 1900 past based on being of German ethnic culture and a beer manufacturing city. German based food and beer "gardens" going hand in hand, those traits are still evident, only updated/morphed into today's independent beer pavilions. Spin City is separate ride/game vendors, not an umbrella midway provider (and does need some upticking on the adult ride selection). Spotlighting Wisconsin's dairy and rural northern landscape, the fair does a good job, w/plenty of seating areas to break from all the walking. Thanks for the review... and come back next year ! ...to eat.

And If you didn't know... Illinois is a 2 State fair state. The other state fair in Illinois is the Duqoin State Fair

I love fun fairs, mostly a fan and places European fairs on my bucket list. America is slowly coming up but has nothing on Europe. We need a break dancer

That's it?!?!?! I dream all my life of going to another state to their "Big state fair". And that's all there is?!?! For years, all I heard about was how awesome the Minnesota State Fair was. The best for and an amazing midway. I grew up, brought my kids to and continue to patronize the Orange County Fair & the L.A.County fair, so I knew nothing else. Apparently the grass ISN"T greener in other states. Ray Cammack Shows destroys any other carnival midway anywhere on planet earth. More rides. Bigger rides. More coasters. More drop towers, more slides, more everything. Oh yeah, more food boothes. Frog legs. Fried butter. Five layer burgers. And at least 20 ways to serve potatoes. PLUS- The original Hot Dog On A Stick. Don't be fooled. L.A. & O.C. have fairs that trounce all over any other state fair on earth. Do you wanna drink milk that was inside of a cow ten minutes ago? Yes you can! Are three Boosters enough for a midway? O.C. had FOUR! Does your County fair have cable crossing the midway? Not in L.A. or Orange County! While this new awakening won't deter me from going to other staes to check out their fairs, I now realize that there isn't any other fair in the United States that can equal the sheer size, scope, and diversity that exists in Southern California. The only thing that the fairs in L.A. & O.C. lack that I am aware of so far are... Joe's Perogis. Only available in PA. as far as I Know.
Too bad rcs got rid of that drop tower. It appears at NC state fair now, largest midway of any fair
