Do they pay as much attention to providing quality education and facilities for students, as they do on dressing?? Kenyan universities, especially public universities, should pay more attention to the quality of education and graduates, not such matters. If Strathmore and USIU had such rules, it is worth it. They have enough facilities and quality education for the few students and courses they offer.

In university, people learn to be independent above all. These are people who just left primary school and high school where every aspect of their lives were controlled. To avoid moulding a society of servants and people whose sole purpose is to follow authority directives unquestioned, we need to let university students be free to make their own mistakes. Management should focus on making their academic life rich. So that they can have something to contribute to society while being completely independent.

This is what happens when you have failed to manage, you almost always end up in nonsensical virtue and religious signals that change nothing but give you an illusion of control. Moi university has bigger problems than miniskirts and crop tops. The university is basically financially insolvent and education standards are deteriorating fast with strikes almost every year due to mismanagement. I am not a fan of muscle shirts, mini skirts etc. but it is not in my place to tell another adult human being what to wear.

20year olds taking fashion instructions not even tips from 50year old Deans will insist on kamisi being worn or shaving flat like high school kids. Let adults do what adults do &stop bending rules just to please old moral codes.its 2024 online classes you are not obliged to have your image on a video link so you could attend class seated in an office or on the toilet but the result is the same

Let's not talk of quality of education but how the ADULTS paying to get this education are dressed. An adult is free to do what they feel is suitable for them as long as it doesn't affect the lecture.any Dean who thinks the said adult will get pneumonia or be uncooth civilian by wearing crocks is drunk with power& should focus more on being a parent to their kids ¬ the adult who is simply paying to learn.

You know what's wrong with this idea? That Kenyans are still being oppressed by the rules of their colonial masters. You are talking about adults who can make their own decisions or what not to wear. This is such a an archaic rule for young adults trying to figure their place.
