Hey all! In the year and a half since I put together this video, I managed to find a MUCH better way to remove vocals from background audio, which really removes that "grainy" type of sound that the method in this video produces. Check out my tutorial for it here - ruclips.net/video/ityPFELrDNg/видео.html
Thank you for teaching me how to remove the original voice while inflicting the minimal amount of damage to the BGM so easily! You made my Fandubbing experience way more fun
This was so awesome to see your process!! Especially helps since idk how much longer I’ll have my editing system (it’s out of date but still here which is all I care about haha!!) Seriously awesome watching!! :DDD
I just now saw that :) I’m planning on saving money for a laptop so that way I can give a this one a try myself at somepoint. Probably have to play around with it first tho (practice some too) That was a great 😊
That's awesome!! I know some people edit on their phones, but the thought of that is just wayy too much for me, lol. I hope this video can be some help to you when you're able to get started!!

You can only completely remove the vocals if the audio is 5.1 surround sound.

marinaalexis I started off trying to do my off but I think it’s the app or just the phone itself was being stupid lol. :)
Just export your Audacity audio as a WAV file and you'll be able to drop it right into your editor, without need for that second export step.
I will try that for sure! Thanks for the tip, I appreciate it!
hii, this question may be kinda dumb but, what's the format you pick when downloading the audio? tehe
I'm use windows. not mac
Unfortunately you'll have to look elsewhere for a tutorial then, as I use Mac only I'm not familiar with the programs for Windows.
