    Hey all! In the year and a half since I put together this video, I managed to find a MUCH better way to remove vocals from background audio, which really removes that "grainy" type of sound that the method in this video produces.     Thank you for teaching me how to remove the original voice while inflicting the minimal amount of damage to the BGM so easily! You made my Fandubbing experience way more fun

      I'm glad it helped!! And I feel that so much haha, I use the oldest programs for as long as possible, I hate getting used to new things 😂

    You can only completely remove the vocals if the audio is 5.1 surround sound.

    I just now saw that :) I’m planning on saving money for a laptop so that way I can give a this one a try myself at somepoint. Probably have to play around with it first tho (practice some too) That was a great 😊

      That's awesome!! I know some people edit on their phones, but the thought of that is just wayy too much for me, lol. I hope this video can be some help to you when you're able to get started!!

    Just export your Audacity audio as a WAV file and you'll be able to drop it right into your editor, without need for that second export step.

    I'm use windows. not mac

      Unfortunately you'll have to look elsewhere for a tutorial then, as I use Mac only I'm not familiar with the programs for Windows.
