The controller trick does not seem to work on the Switch. Not sure what to do now?!!? :(😢
I solved this problem on switch, try respawn an any monster, attack him and talk with NPC and wait then kill you. Have fun 😁

Hey, I also play on the switch and don't understand it. Which enemy should I attack, kill and then revive? There is no enemy there. And how can I revive monsters?
@@ghostnice6627when u get Dimensional Claw beating a boss named Kiana in the Hyrcanian Forest u can capture an enemy. U can catch one from archives and come back to npc
On ps5:
1. Go to accessories and turn off controller (do not quit the game).
2. Turn on the controller again by pressing PS button.
3. Open the game and click ok.
Now he gives you the amulet but your character can not leave the room.
Now, do the above steps again and go back to the game.
He will leave the room, and you can continue the game normally.

I just spammed x to skip the dialogue and it worked for me. I did restart the game after getting the bug for the first time, so it's hard to say what helped. You can re-read the dialogue later, so you might as well skip it and see if it works. :)
I actually tried that a few times, and unfortunately it did not work for me.
I just reloaded the game and worked my way back and he gave me what he was supposed to allow the game to continue.

This quest can bug out even if you have quest ..if you go to where a moon should be and you have the quest...and there isnt a moon ..go back to orignal quest giver and it will fix it.

Thanks for the Video. I wanted to do it, but I restarted the game and immediately ran to the moon searcherer. Suddenly I couldn't use the solutions and it worked straight away... Weird🤔

I havent tried the controller on and off but all my sidequests seem to this. And restarting the console didnt work either. When I went back to this sidequest it froze exactly like the previous time😢

Mine is just access the menu, view or read something inside and leave menu and the game continues… ✌🏼
I don’t have a controller, I’m using a keyboard, unfortunately if I accept the quest I get locked out of all game controls. I can’t pause or unplug and replay my keyboard. I’ve tried restarting the game multiple times and yet it still doesn’t work. If I avoid the quest and decline it, then it affects nothing. But this is super annoying 😢. UBISOFT please fix this bug asap!!
For me a similar bug happened in the "impossible climb" sidequest.
The NPC Hermit is stuck in the same dialogue and does not start the quest.
PS: I'm playing the Nintendo Switch version.

playing on pc with both ryujinx and yuzu and havent face any problem,using ds4 controller.

@@IEatGames Well, I think it may have been pure coincidence that it worked. I think what's happening is it's slow loading the next bit of dialogue. When I paused and unpaused, it either reset the loading of dialogue or it just so happened to finish loading the dialogue. I dunno... 😅🤷♂️
