Long shot, but does anyone have a chance to send me some pictures of their bottom Cams from their Elite compound bows? trying to create some 3d models for concepting hunting bow designs.
I missed out on the hats again. Old video but there’s new old stock elites for serious discounts so I’ve been watching older reviews. Elites grips love my left hand. I don’t shoot one but I set up my older sons kure and my wife’s allure and the grip is just about perfect besides getting ice cold in the northern hunting season. I’m gonna try some mole skin this year.
I’ve had me enkore for about 12 months. I am only 27.5 inch DRAW. I have mine at 85% as the 90 is too light and I tend to torque the bow. I’m pretty happy with it. Interestingly, I also have an old bowtech invasion cpx. It’s 70 pound also and has a slightly higher IBO of 346. I get 300fps with a 350 grain arrow from the enkore. I thought it would be a bit higher actually. I get 285 from the bowtech. I find the enkore is way harder to pull back than the invasion. I’d love to try the PSE omen or the bowtech solution ss. At my draw length, does 300fps sound right for a 350 grain arrow ? I love the enkore but just find the draw fairly stiff for its speed when the old bowtech is way easier and only 12-15 slower.
I can say this. Im stoked that my bow shop had one of these. I got it and love it. Im amazed. The best i could pull about 10 years ago was 65 on a regular bases. Haven’t shot in 10 years and im pulling this bow at 70 with no problem. Ill leave it at 70. And after 10 years of not shooting a bow im pretty accurate with this one. Love it. I shot hoyt, matthews v3x and others but fell in love with the enkore. Could purchased any one of the bows but this was spoke to me and felt best. After all if shooting a bow feels good then you will shoot it more.
I had to sell my Elite synergy. Man I miss that bow. I have been shooting since I was 8 and have owned almost all brands . The Elite by far is the most accurate and reliable bow I have ever owned. When your in the tree and you pull back on a animal ..you want the confidence as you send it. That's what Elite bows do. GET ONE.
The Enkore is a very nice and SMOOTH bow, I got on in 60lb to hunt with this season and it draws and holds great. with no stabilizers, just a whisker biscuit and a 4 pin sight it balances out nice for hunting.
Paper tuning is important for long range accuracy and penetration. The straighter the arrow leaves the bow the less the arrow has to correct itself in flight (assuming correct spine). Super important for long range penetration. Most whitetail setups 40 yds and in probably not necessary.
My point was having a self tuning system built into the bow is convenient and cool technology but is not necessary, and for new hunters to have a shop help set u up, and to not think your bow has to be PERFECTLY tuned for you to be successful, learning about the the tuning process and gaining knowledge on why tuning your bow is important it shouldn’t stop you from getting into the field

I agree 100 percent some bows just feel right, every hunter is built differently and there is usual one or two bows that just feel right
Thanks for the review , thinking of the encore or maybe a Terrain
Enkore
You won't regret it
Will you try a Prime soon?

What release are you using?
Spothog wiseguy release w/ BOA strap
Paper tune isnt the finished tune. It is to start and then tune to your arrows and set up

Nice review!
