Way to go Prime. Id still take Bear's flagship from the past few years and these Dartons from the past two years.
Dragon x10
Can you test the oneida Phoenix please
I’m trying one of the bows I have wanted to get in here since the beginning
I’m ready for your Mach 33 review. One of the best bow reviewers out there👍.
I have a Mach 33 review in the works.
Look forward to it
Just bought my 1st Z7 on Ebay this week, can't wait to run it. Thank you for your input and passion.
I have this bow on the way. I understand everything about assembly and shooting from a dozen videos except before I shoot the first time what do I do with the pins that are set from the manufacture and what distance do I start? I’m assuming I just leave the 20 yard pin alone shoot it from 20 yards and then adjust it as needed. Just hope I hit paper.!! No one covers initial pin placement in their videos Or should we assume that they already set for 20, 30 and 40 from the manufacturer?
Awesome review.
Very nice review, I'm just about ready to press send for the 31ST2 I have Conquensce and love the bow.
What is weight of stabilizer?
Just bought me the Spot Hogg XL and I absolutely love this sight!!! Man it’s solid and feels like it’s well made and just an all around soild set of sights !!!!
So I'm at 26.5 maybe 26 give or take. Shoot left hand. Am I SOOL as far as getting speed from any bow since I am so short? I am new and bought a blackout epic that does 340fps, but there were issues with the pulleys so I returned it to basspro. I am looking at the diamond deploy sb but don't want to have to shoot 10 to 20 yards every time I hunt as a worse case. I also get a deal on the oneida Phenix but know the speed is slower by 25fps. I'm shooting a 340 grain arrow. Should I just use a crossbow at this point since I have not shot for 30 years?. Thanks
Brandon they have a large cam for 30 to 32 inches now.
Good looking bow but way way way to much reflex. Its 2025 and reflex is out for bows.
Dude, I want one of these so damn bad, but there are NO dealers around me man, it makes me mad.
Brother I just want to say thank you for all of your honest reviews and content. I'm a USMC veteran who has been wanting to get into archery for decades now but never pulled the trigger. Watching your videos and reviews helped and motivated me to go out and get my first starter bow. Now I'm scrolling through all your reviews and learning so much. Thank you and keep doing what you're doing!
That’s awesome man I’m glad you’re finding the content useful
Swhackers 207, Swhackers 200 and Muzzle Trocars over everything!
im 6'4, would something like this be "to small" for me? or would it work as a first time bow ?
hey there everyone, looking to get into hunting and target shooting. i would appreciate any feedback and beginner tips and advice for a newbie... lol. feel free to reply! also great video, ive been doing alot of research and these bows are all on other top 10 list!
Before the video starts. I'm betting the actual speed is less than the stated speed by a lot. Prime always fudges the speed numbers. How do you give it an 8 out 10, when it is 40 fps slower than promised by Prime.
Well a couple things here… He is shooting it with the slower (smoother) mod. They have a faster mod. But more significantly, he didn’t shoot an arrow anywhere close to the 350gr arrow that speed ratings utilize. The closest arrow he shot was 440gr so almost 100gr over weight…
I add weight to my RVX36, so I don't really care that it is a wee bit lighter.
I would buy that bow all day long before spending 1g or more on USA overpriced bs. I'm very very proud American but I draw the line when ur trying to rob me. I was looking for reviews and found ur vid. I work for a living and will be buying the dragon 10 ... ty sir
Do you have to set at 40 to start? For example can you set at 10,20,30 and get to 90 instead of 100yds? Im just curious about why the 40 yard mark is so consistent in all discussions about this sight
Any idea on when you're testing the consequence?
I love Prime bows, but I think this looks like something that you'd buy for a kid from Wal Mart. It may grow on me, but that's just my first thoughts when I saw it. Props to them for trying something new. I'll give it a chance.
Subscribed! Great review! This is the most "real world" and detailed review I have seen. Most of them just weigh the bow, measure ATA and brace height and check the speed. Way more in depth!
Se. Your. Still using the. Tru fire synapse
The 2. Things I don't like about this bow are. The axle to axle and the fact that the draw weight is not adjustable love the fact the hoyt is adjustable on the draw weight
How is the draw weight not adjustable? You can adjust the limb bolt for draw weight just like a Hoyt…
60 hours a week making 1000 a week take home , 1200 plus in taxes , fucking insane , why im getting into archery , that way i can feed my family if and when the world takes a shit !
think ill sell my pse embark that i paid 1500 for (idiot) . looking at these dartons, cant afford a lift so . in canada and the economy is even worse ! $2200 just for a bare lift , not lift x .
Absolutely love your approach to reviewing bows! 110% agree about the centergrip technology. Love the centergrip so much that I bought a left over RVX2 today. As much as I like my RX8 and my SR350, Prime just feels like home. Best of luck with your business endeavors. Keep bringing the great content! May your 2025 be your best year to date!
Appreciate this comment thanks for the feedback
I’m stuck between this one and a bear legit . Might have to shoot both to see which one is better .
Your reviews are hands down the very best in the business and I look forward to the no B.S. information. Looking forward to all of your upcoming content. Thank you
They develop an aesthetically unpleasing bow for .3 lb reduction from the RVX. Why would someone pay $500 more for this when the same performance can be had cheaper. Seems like they could have worked on machining the riser further to accomplish nearly the same thing. It can’t be to yield a warmer grip that’s the typical argument for carbon.
Great points, although I think there gel grip is one of the warmest
@@BackyardBowsIt's a great grip. Probably the best rubber type of grip in the industry. Seems like this is a great fit for you. You shot it well.
Glad to see an unbiased review. Prime has never been given enough credit for their technology. Mathews can change ata length by a half inch and most people doing interviews will rave at the ingenuity and stability.
Been waiting for this review!!! I’m been debating to trade in my inline 1 and 5 for a new build out
What's better in your opinion the fixed cable guard or the flex guard? I believe the flex guard will move those cables closer to the string with the core cam angled payout groves in the cam. Then again the string upon release will stay straight more so with the fixed guard.
People should not be afraid of carbon fiber glued to aluminum. That's the exact construction most carbon fiber mountain bikes have since the last two decades. I have a 2017 carbon fiber Ibis Ripley that I hucked down mountains and I have not had any issues whatsoever.
Was this with the new speed mods or with the comfort mods?
Comfort I don’t have the performance yet
Everyone complains about stagnancy in the industry, no new tech, tuning stuff is getting boring, BNG, blah blah blah....then someone rocks the boat and everyone STILL complains. I remember the waffle riser that everyone HATED, then the Mario tube carbon bow that everyone HATED, straighter risers were hated.......just stop it, eat a damn snickers, SHOOT THE DAMN BOW, and enjoy some movement in the industry. Loved the review, keep em coming brother. any plans on a 10" + stab review series?
When is the PSE Mach33 review comin?!?
Please never shoot with that guy walking in front of you. Shit happens man. Pretty sketchy
Looks like a robot arm. Why only that color man?
Kinda ugly, but ugly bows need loving too lol
Catalyst bars are some of the best!
Nothing special, just another bow, built differently for no other reason than to be different!
Everyone feels that they have to separate themselves from the pack
@BackyardBows I get it. Riser materials are obviously the new frontier with fully adjustable tuning systems. I think Prime is just trying to stay relevant, but the Bowtech/Mathews tuning systems combined with the new riser magnesiums put out by Bowtech and Xpedition are the next shoes to drop! IMO.
I think the Ultra is one of the nicest drawing bows on the market. It sounds long ATA but it's better than you'd think and a real shooter. Great for 3D target and western hunting
Oh hell yeah! I'm been excited to see you cover this one!
Been waiting for this mate!
There’s a secret…..please tell me 🤗
Great review...I am sold on this product
Rocked it all year and love it
