Hey, if you want some non-requested mamma advice with vinegar, you can dilute it with water. For my kettle I usually use 1/4 of vinegar for 3/4 of water and let it rest for half an hour. If it's badly stained (like on a shower screen), I spray pure vinegar and let it rest for 5-30 min (re-spraying some if I let it longer). And if it's hard core work, hot vinegar is stronger.

yes this. my mom always got my to turn the kettle on after I put the vinegar in. We also wash our counters with soap and water, but my boyfriend thinks it’s weird cause he grew up using chemical. I grew up in a no harsh chemical (or limited chemical) household
I’m not really able to chat with my mom either, so these videos about tips and tricks about general life upkeep and womanhood, etc., have been really helpful!

I’m sure you have a process for working with brands but I would recommend putting somewhere in your contract that you’ll send a watermarked version for approval, once they approve make sure you get paid before posting the non watermarked version. (If you’re not already doing that) Very shady move on their end!

Love this way to get quick cleans throughout the day. I also work from home so I like to take quick 5-10 minute breaks between work and just get stuff done quick. Doesn’t seem as overwhelming and gets the job done ❤
I'm 26 weeks pregnant with a lot of free time on my hands, so I just overexerted myself walking in the city. I hurried back to make dinner and was sooo tired but needed a light motivational video and that's why I'm looking at your video. After this I'll have the energy and motivation to pick up my housely chores again 😂🙆🏻♀️

Adulthood is just cooking & cleaning the kitchen :') But I always try to "clean as I go" meanwhile cooking and it healps a lot
Another cleaning tip - a bowl of water, vinegar and a bit of dish soap and lemon juice and put it in your microwave for like 2 minutes. Then all the grease will just wipe away easily 🙂 i then usually keep the liquid and use it to clean the rest of my kitchen

I have a program on housework, so everyday i do something and i divide the houseworks on 5 days of the week, from Monday until Friday. So i spent almost 40 min a day each day to do cleaning chores. That helps me a lot. ❤ And if someday i can t do something it s ok! ❤ I love your content of cleaning! Can you show us also organizing your home, wardrobes, drawers to take an idea? ❤😊
I personally like the 'clean as you go' method because most days at the end of the night I don't wanna clean after momming all day. I love your videos so much, I've been here since I was in highschool and love that I've grown with you kinda in a way. I also hope you're all doing good!! ❤️

P.s. the spray I use on literally everything is a distilled white vinegar & water mixture. For general cleaning, I put citrus (usually lemon or orange) peels in a jar, cover with distilled white vinegar, and let sit in a cool dark space for 2 to 4 weeks. Strain and store in a glass jar. Mix some with water in a spray bottle to use it. For glass, I use 1/3 of a spray bottle with distilled white vinegar, a quick squeeze of dish soap, and the rest with warm water. If I run out of my usual all-purpose, I like that my glass mix can also be used in the kitchen and in general. I also use the distilled white vinegar as a fabric softener, which works amazing!
That coffee talk topic would hit so hard right now. I've also been trying to balance getting back to being productive and having energy to get any of it done.

A dishwasher pod works insanely well for hard water build up! Toss one in your kettle or whatever and leave it for 15 mins. It’s magic! Works really good for our stainless steel coffee pot too 😊
Yes 🙌 on the cleaning with vinegar, I had to google it too 😅 I first used a vinegar & water to descale my keurig, since I was at it did the same for my kettle but I turned mine on, then turned it in, washed it and then I did one clean water cycle (then dumped in the grass once cool) to avoid any residual vinegar taste (same with the keurig).
Btw, also, a vinegar/dawn dish soap solution used in a spray bottle works great to clean the shower

I can relate totally to the mom thing and learning what to use/what not to use when it comes to cleaning. My grandma passed down to me a diy cleaner she always used and im happy to share. You get a spray bottle, fill it halfway with luke warm water, then fill the rest with white vinegar, add lemon essential oil (not necessary but helps with the vinegar smell) then add 3 drips of dawn dish soap. Shake well everytime before using. Its non toxic and cleans very well. Iv been using this for years! I hope this helps.

I use the vanilla sweet cream by chobani in my coffee. Delicious and ingredients are fairly clean and simple too.

Try making your matcha right in the frother! I add almond milk, water, and put the matcha through a sieve into the frother and it comes out perfectly blended :)

Yes! I have to remind myself to go extra slow. Our k-cup spot was overflowing too with the old style pods but we learned you have to push them down hard before closing. The machine is great in theory but it's been a bit disappointing overall

I’m thinking of hiring an overall helper/assistant once baby 2 is here - someone to assist me with work and home things. Sometimes we have to hire our village 😅

Kalyn I've always loved your videos but I feel in such GYST videos the viewer is looking for motivation to get up and get cleaning so I would really recommend you cut to the chase without the long introduction! Otherwise love everything you do xx
Its so weird watching you knowing you have a kid in daycare, while you are at home taking care of yourself and your home. Your content doesnt fit you anymore. It doesn't seem genuine. You should embrace your femininity and motherhood, your content will naturally become better. You don't need to show your children to do this. Its also ok to give some things up to put your family first, your man will naturally step up to take care of you. This is not a hate comment, I just feel like you might look back on your life one day regretting not raising your own kids.
This does not pass the vibe check, take your judgement and projected shame on how others choose to parent and make a living elsewhere! Preferably to a therapist or on a deep meditative journey that questions why you think you know what’s better for other people. Sending you peace and a more level head 🫶🏼
There’s no manual on motherhood, no ‘right’ way. Kalyn is doing what is best for her, her wellbeing, her mental health, her career and her kids. Who are we to judge someone who yes some of us feel like we know, part of our lives etc but ultimately we don’t know? We only see a snapshot of her life. ‘Taking care of yourself and your home?’ - so Kalyn’s kids can’t have a happy mum and a nice home to live in?
