Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1 Movie Description:
Without the guidance and protection of their professors, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) begin a mission to destroy the Horcruxes, the sources of Voldemort's immortality. Though they must rely on one another more than ever, dark forces threaten to tear them apart. Voldemort's Death Eaters have seized control of the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts, and they are searching for Harry -- even as he and his friends prepare for the ultimate showdown.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 is a 2010 fantasy film directed by David Yates and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the first of two cinematic parts based on J. K. Rowling's 2007 novel of the same name and the seventh instalment in the Harry Potter film series. It was written by Steve Kloves and produced by David Heyman, David Barron, and Rowling and features an ensemble cast.
The film stars Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, with Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, respectively, reprising roles as Harry's best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. It is the sequel to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) and is followed by the concluding entry, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011).
The story follows Harry Potter, who has been asked by Dumbledore to find and destroy Lord Voldemort's secret to immortality - the Horcruxes. Filming began on 19 February 2009 and was completed on 12 June 2010. Part 1 was released in 2D cinemas and IMAX formats worldwide on 19 November 2010. The film received positive reviews with critics praising its performances, cinematography, visual effects and musical score.
In the film's worldwide opening weekend, Part 1 grossed $330 million, the third-highest in the series, and the highest opening of 2010, as well as the eighth-highest of all time. With a worldwide gross of $977 million, Part 1 is the third-highest-grossing film of 2010, behind Toy Story 3 and Alice in Wonderland, and the third-highest-grossing Harry Potter film in terms of worldwide totals, behind Deathly Hallows - Part 2 and Philosopher's Stone (2001). Additionally, it received two nominations at the 83rd Academy Awards: Best Art Direction and Best Visual Effects.

I Can Already Tell Alot Of People Will Be Upset About My Thoughts On Ron. Just Chill Alright, I'm Not Talking About You Or Your Loved Ones. It's A Made Up Character. Just Relax, It's All Entertainment.
But Ron Is Also In The Wrong For Mentioning That Harry Has No Family When Harry Always Viewed Ron As Part Of His Family. And Don't Bring Up The Horcux As A Valid Arguement, Because I Mentioned The Horcux 3 Times... And Even After Ron Took It Off He Was Still Mad.
But It is Also Crazy Though How Ron Can Say Something That Disrespectful To Harry And Yall Stay Quiet, But When I Say Something As Equally Disrespectful To Ron People Get In There Feelings. How Does That Make Sense?

Emma's acting in the torture scene was so amazing and so believable that when Daniel and Rupert heard the scream, they thought something went wrong while filming and wanted to check on her immediately. Her voice and that scream are probably the most heartbreaking sounds in all of the 8 movies.

Fun fact: In the beginning when Harry fought off Voldemort on the bike, that wasn’t actually Harry having superhuman reflexes. It was actually his wand casting the spell on its own volition to protect him. Wands with Phoenix Tail Feather cores (like in Harry’s) are said to have a level of sentience about them, that can act on their own accord, which many wizards and witches don’t like.

I think what Ron was feeling at that moment which makes him the most human of the three, I mean, it's easy to sit back and criticize and say that he's wrong for acting like that. But we all say things that can sound horrible when we are really desperate and tired. Ron loves Harry and Hermione and he would live and die for them but he was living a real hell in his mind and he was also sick with concern for his family, as we would be in his place, and the horcrux only served to poison him even more. That's why it's not fair to throw rocks at Ron just because he said a couple shits when he was upset. It's not like nobody else does.
Why is it so hard to understand Ron or try not to compare him to Harry and Hermione? Certainly he is neither of them nor does he feel like them. He may not be that logical or practical, but at least that makes him the most believable character.
It's easy to understand Ron if you just try, but most don't because they are ashamed to admit that they would be like that because that doesn't fit with their own ideal of a hero.

Its Harry who said his parents are death and he also mocks Ron when he says that his parents could be on the same path as his and that is why the fight begins (And Hermione also distrusted Harry because she thought like Ron that Harry had information that he had not told them)
And again you dont try to understand him like Mell And you'd rather stick with the shit he said while he was drunk on the effects of the horcrux. That brought out the worst in him and war doesn't always keep people together. Stop judging him. You don't know what it's like to be in a situation like that
In fact, in the book Ron did not want to approach the horcrux again, not even to destroy it with the sword after Harry offered it to him, because he knew how it affected him and explained: "It is beyond my strength, I do not intend to justify my attitude, but to me, it affects me a lot more than you or Hermione. When I wore it around my neck, it made me think about things, things that came to my mind for NO REASON and made EVERYTHING seem much worse"
When he succeeds in destroying the horcrux, he apologizes to Harry and he forgives him because Ron was able to fight and win against his worst insecurities and also because Ron saved his life from drowning.
Harry didn't apologize for saying that shit about his family when he saw that Ron was worried. They were both bad friends

You see Harry's smile gradually dropping as Hermione's does, leaving them both looking somewhat defeated again. I think people are just so accustomed to there always being romantic undertones to male-female interactions (particularly in movies), that even if they KNOW there isn't, their minds will sometimes project it onto them.

Harry has known him for 7 years, been in life and death situations with him.
They climb under a cloak together that's love. Ron also let Harry into his home and sister. Ron's mom stated over and over that Harry is her son.

This movie shows why people are not supposed to say Voldermort. It’s a trigger word. Everytime someone says Voldermort, snatchers and Death Eaters appear to get whoever is saying it. Kind of like a locator spell. They figure if someone dare say his name, they are trying to do something against him. That’s why Luna’s dad randomly said Voldermort when he was ready for them to come pick up Harry Ron and Hermione. But it happens the whole movie.

To add onto the ‘Mad Eye being a formidable ally’ thing, Voldemort was weary of one particular member of the order. That member was Alastor Moody, possibly the greatest auror to ever live, responsible for putting most of Azkaban prisoners in there, and one of maybe only two people to not fear Voldemort (Dumbledore was the other one). In the films he’s significantly past his prime, but he was one of the most important members of the order

Kreachers redemption arc is almost as awesome as Snapes, IMO. However, since they cut out so much of OOTP(like Mrs.Blacks portrait, Kreachers betrayal of Sirius, etc;), then we missed out on that. Him returning to lead the House Elves of Hogwarts against the Death Eaters was one of the most epic moments I ever read.
Of the books, I still think HBP is the worst film adaptation, but the best book(rereading the books now and I just got so angry at all we missed out on in exchange for a pointless fight at the Burrow and a long drawn out ROR scene. Harry walks away after Sectumsempra'ing Draco and nothing ever comes of it? Lol.

28:00 Sending you hugs. The reason Harry Potter is sentimental to me is because my grandpa took me to see the first one for my 9th birthday. I credit him for introducing me to it even though he had no idea what it would become. It was just a new kids movie at the time. He passed away only 5 years after that so he'd never know how much it would mean to me 20 years later. I know it's not the same but Harry's longing for his parents still resonates with me. My grandpa doesn't have an official resting place (his ashes were spread at his favorite beach and some were given to his wife) so watching these movies are my way of feeling close to him again. 💕

Another thing that's important to note is Ron's complete transformation in both this film and part 2 into a much more serious, smarter and all around badass and cool character was something that should have been shown in ALL films. For some bizarre reason, they butchered his character in the previous films and turned him into a bumbling fool when he was NEVER like that in the books. Like they just wanted him to be the comic relief with no other substance or whatever. So to see his portrayal here and in part 2 as completely different and SO MUCH BETTER really made great for us fans. And even for those who didn't care for him before, they really started to like him as a favorite character after these two films and that's really saying something.
