- INCREDIBLE restoration here! The COLOR I was able to summon forth from the source is unbelievable - just look at these before/after shots!! -- imgbox.com/g/mzYXsrzOip -- This recording was VERY drab and washed-out, but Resolve was an absolute champ in getting the color back, and then some. I just cannot say enough good things about that FREE software. The contrast is also back the way it should be - nice CRISP picture now. Topaz was used to upscale the game to 1080p, to remove 'crud' and noise from the picture, and to sharpen things up. This is DEFINITELY one of the best enhanhcements I've done. My thanks to Fort Knox and his Seahawks RUclips channel -- www.youtube.com/@fortknox4740... -- for providing the DVD files for this project.
Breathtakingly Beautiful Color Restoration. Bravo 👏 👏
best Broncos Unis ever!
Broncos fan since 1977
RIP Norris Weese and Rob Lytle
The long lost Marx Brother, Marvo Marx! What a head of hair back then! Thanks for continuing to post these games!
Im a big time Raider fan but I loved watching AFC West football around this time...
I was 9 years old when this game was played... What memories!!!
The Seahawks used to give is FITS almost from day one... LOL
Strap in for a great game.
Outstanding enhancement- We say it often, they all are, but as you describe this almost unbelievable!
Great video, Marv with the hair helmet!
Now we are talking......nice game and enhancement.
This is awesome Dave!! I have a copy of this game from years ago but it didn't have the end of the game. Thanks you very much my friend!!
My goodness man, you've given this drab looking game a face lift and then some! Once again you've done work that's truly appreciated.
Absolutely amazing picture quality! I can’t get over how incredible all your videos are!! 👏👏
Hell yeah, more Broncos please
Just amazing! One of my favorite NFL games of all time. I remember watching it live on King 5 TV in Seattle. Jack Patera's post-game coaches show aired afterwards. Craig Morton was named NFL Offensive Player of the Week by Pro Football Weekly for his performance (11/16 for 178 yards & 3 TD passes).
0:27 note the proposed helmet change for New England in the end zone
This is such a great transfer as a few of us saw the original feed quality of this game here on RUclips and the color upgrade and quality enhancement looks amazing on this one. One of the best upgrades from the late 70s NFL on NBC games as it looks as good as the Hawks-49ers game from the following week on NBC. Great stuff Dave and I always appreciate any expansion era Seahawks uploads.
That's not an original feed... What you see on RUclips is sourced from a consumer recorded vhs tape.... Even the best consumer grade vhs recording has much lower resolution than the native broadcast signal/professional broadcast master tapes.....
The NFL and the Tv networks need to make high def digital transfers of all NFL Films footage and TV network broadcast master tapes, before this analogue material degraded even further.
@@ryanjacobson2508 I know it's not the original feed, I'm talking about in terms of hiw the video looked originally when the uploaded puts on RUclips from his home video transfer. I do agree that the NFL should transfer all of the games in their library, but thankfully we have people like Dave doing it for quite a few games from this era.
Thanks Dave! These games are great.
This game was a primer on how momentum can turn on a dime...Always felt Craig Morton put a decade of frustration to rest with this one
Such an awesome thing to find. Thank you for posting these great games!!!
Biggest comeback in Broncos' history, and John Elway is nowhere to be seen.
Check out Marv Albert's hair! What a bad do.
Great quality! Thanks!

Horrible memory of my youth...
Would be great if you could find that jets bills game that was played on the same day as this game. That looked like a fun shootout to see

Dave what software do you use for the HD enhancement?
Topaz Video AI to denoise, revert compression, sharpen, and upscale. I then take that result and bring it into Da Vinci Resolve to edit and adjust contrast and color.
