Good Morning Kevin: Well that new atx750 watt power supply from Best Buy did not have the correct pin code shape on the connectors, plus all the wires were black and the 24 pin connector had one wire on pin 5 (-5v) missing. What is the difference between EATXPWR and ATXPWR?? Well guy back to Best Buy. I'll keep you posted on finding the RIGHT 24 pin and the 8 pin CPU code shape and voltage. Keep up the good work. Dezrat.
The difference is size EATXPWR is Extended-ATX it comes in a bigger form factor but some times they do not fit ATX mobo because the motherboard is bigger and longer cabling most of the time and it does not have a 24 pin connector usually a 20 pin connector and it's connection is shaped differently!
Old desktops can support new hard drives, solid states, disk drives, graphics cards, power supplies, etc. If you replace the motherboard, then of course you can install a new motherboard as well. I think you need to catch up with your PC knowledge.
That's very useful, thanks a lot for your great effort :)
+4R Geo I'm glad it helps!
