I traded my 99 Cobra in on an Em1. I loved that car. Lack with the same red type r interior and fbo. Unfortunately it was stolen in 02, so I got a Rsx type s and did fbo with beadwork. Got a couple eg hatches and an ek hatch later on. Out of all my cars, I wish I still had the em1. This brings back memories. Nicely done fellas. Side note, best exhaust for the em1 was the Greddy Evo.

Tham I love to have a car like this in my driveway , having a family of 3 it’s extremely difficult, I remember back in my 20’s I went thru a base 1996 ex red and this looks just like it except not with the k series … love love this built what a dream tham!

Ive got a numbers matching em1 ive had for years i did full build suspension and brakes ect and am stacking parts to pull the b16 and do a k20/24 swap would fucking love a shop like you guys to help me out!
The em1 is legendary and most importantly it’s a coupe and not a ugly sedan like today’s civics…
We had a white dx coupe I was going to turbo the stock d16 🎉 it got half way stolen and all fucd up then our insurance totalled it out. I don't have the time or energy or funds anymore. I have a 03 wrx wagon I built a few years ago still running very strong but I haven't been able to register it in the last two states I moved to. I'm just over it man. I have a $15000 dollar investment that runs so well, it was my daily when it had Oregon tags for two years, and has all the top notch quality goodies where it counts. And I can't even use anymore 😂 it just sits here. Once every three months I go around the block. The realities of daily driving my race car dream project have set in after years of fighting the system. I'm just over it😢 doing it all over again I would've built a more street legal vehicle. Stand alone ECU and swap and custom catless exhaust starting at the up pipe kind of blew it for me. Also got rid of every emission component on the engine and the chassis 😂😂😂😂 I was like it will be fine. I'll just pay someone extra for my tags. That's a lot harder to do in real life especially after living in 3 different states in 3 years.

If I wanted you guys to just do everything under the hood of my car, sort of what TommyFYeah does with the GTR’s what would it cost? Just a basic build on a K20Z1 with a wire-tuck, painted engine bay and all new hardware.

it was just needed with the trac tuff kit, it has a electric waterpump kit, alot cleaner look

Yeah because real ctr headlights don’t have amber reflectors and covers over the headlight bulbs. If you go to 8:47 of that video you clearly see those are reps. Hell you can even see it in the thumbnail of that video. I see you have the real ones on after that vid. If they were used for mock up no big deal why not just say that instead of calling them ctr headlights? It’s all good tho I’m still a subscriber and love your builds I was just asking a question.
