Need a part 2 for sure! You guys need to do a j-series build, it's probably my favorite honda motor. The combo is usually j37 block, j35 heads and j32 intake, only thing that holds back the j-series is the cam, rather you get custom made ones or regrind the stock ones, j-series got mad mad potential with little mods to them, you guys should look into them, they're crazy, love the content

People don’t believe me about the J series, my car made 410hp on 100 wet shot stock pge cl-s ecu, no tune whatsoever.

I did a j35a3 6spd 98 accord. Basic bolt on and it spanks k-swap ek at the racetrack. On street tires.

I was always a k series guy (awd turbo rsx, awd turbo crx, K24 built NA integra), but I just got my first J series civic and now I believe the hype.

I used to drive an 07 Accord V6-6 and the J30 responded well to basic mods. I had an Injen RD CAI, Xclr8 jpipe and an Apex-i world sport II exhaust, with a UR crank pulley. That baby would scoot.

Hell yeah thx for showing me what my car can roughly make with 125 shot!! J series is best budget friendly for power. Like the guy was saying their cheap. Very cheap option to make close to or over 300hp. I’m 5000 for everything into buying my shell and j swap. You guys are right k and b are better platforms for consistent reliable power. Just keep a j series off rev limiter and they can take quite a bit of beating.
Gotta love humble beginnings. I say help them with a FT450 and Jaime tune it.

I had a 01 CL Type S, I regret selling it to this day.. Even with the auto/sport shift that car was a blast to drive.. still had that old school on/off vtec crossover sound.. that little single cam J32 puts in work lol they’re great engines

I got a 03 accord v6 gutted rv6 pcd, plm j pipe, aluminum crank pulley, throttle body coolant bypass no tune. I've raced many si's n pulled on every single one, was neck to neck with a 04 mustang cobra, beat a 08 BMW 335 turbo by a fender!!!! Dont sleep on the j series man they hold weight!!!!
Never clicked on a video faster! Still driving a 03 CL 6MT same motor this car has. Been a J series fan for 20 years, worked at Acura for 10. My car made 245 whp with bolt ons. Im in the chat like you asked. Also in CT!!! Wanna dyno mine for comparison?

J the Way baby! J series bone stock to the wheels 250-270 that's with the 6 Speed LSD transmission out of a TL , probably on the 125 he will make 360 whp. MostroTunning in Kissimiee,FL can tune a ECU without hondata btw ;)

We made 309hp stock j32a2 just ported intake manifold and 70mm tb on pump 93
That's what my P71 made with a TFS 38cc top end on my 4.6L 2v..lol What torque did it make?? My 2v went 321rwtrq..
Go FBO, butterfly delete, spacer, thermal gaskets. Port the runners and manifold and tb if you can. Get headers, delete the cat, you’re dead even with ls3 corvettes
if you find the correct engine and year from acura i think 05-08 came with 290hp if you get ride of the smog junk and put an exhaust on it you got 300 then if you could tune it or get an engine builder that is meticulous you could end up with one nice stock engine then lay the spray in it

That sounds about accurate. J32's love exhaust, header and intake. Usually people get around 275-280 wheel untuned with just those mods on CL-S's and J32a2 swapped cars. Tuning them though, that's a whole other power gain

I have a cl s manual full exhaust, test pipe, , hybrid racing short shifter, track tires bc coilovers, upgraded swaybars. stock to the wheels they make 230ish after drive train loss with those mods its roughly 275 I've seen up to 290 put it to a better comparison its faster than a 350z and stays up to the doors until mid 4th gear up against a 370z after fourth the 370 starts to pull away ask me how I know lol my cl is 5 and 0 against all types of different 350z's stock to mildly modified

Back in '02, Honda made a performance package that added a Eaton supercharged for about $22,500. Think those made like 370fwhp.
