I have dynoed the spacer on my 8th gen accord and it added about 10tq to the wheels and some hp also. Power drops off about 500 or so rpm sooner but hey, for 90% of folks, you will be in love with that mod. Makes driving the car around daily much stronger.
This is the best breakdown for this subject aside from all the other YT vids. The old Bseries B18 to B20 mani off the CRV we called it the Giraffe 🦒 and no one ever ran em' on an Integra bc hood clearance, too much low end torque & you lose top end. Same explanation 💯🎉
Have you tried destroking any of these j series engines to see how much RPM you can get out of them safely? It looks like you guys can properly build up the cylinder heads and intake manifolds from this video 👍
Love your vids, thanks 👍 If I wanted to to a jswap in a civic and wanted to do a j2k plate, k- transmission, do you guys have a wiring harness for that?
I have a motor I’m putting together and I’m looking for answers💯 I wanna make power setup j35a8 with j32a2 heads and I wanna run the 3.7 intake with a 90mm throttle body? How or do you know someone that sells it done already plug and play or this gonna have to be custom? Thanks and appreciate 💯💪
Can we have a comparison of all the different J-series intake manifolds? I see many people swapping to MDX even when they have a newer manifold. Is the MDX is still the best opition for stock intake manifolds?
Curious about buying these for my 8th gen v6 auto. (08 accord) I currently have a full exhaust, rv6 j pipe, rv6 high flows, throttle body spacer, short ram and I'm on ktuner with the provided tune and some slight adjustments for crackle. If I got the spacers would I need to get a proper dyno tune to really see the gain? My assumption is yes but some insight would be nice. Appreciate it!
I have a TL type S, I'm using a J37 manifold white J37 throttle body.... would you use a J32 intake polished with the OEM throttle body size vs my set up? I have no converters and a ATLP J pipe as well..
So the manifold he was referencing was a 01-03 TL type S j32a2 manifold. Not sure if it'll work on a 07-08 type s but I've never seen anyone run it. P2r does have an old Dyno comparing them and the j32a2 manifold is the best one for a j series in my opinion. Second best is j37/j35y and then the others. From what Ive learned, throttle bodies don't add enough HP to be worthwhile. I've seen many dynos on v8 throttle bodies, and the gains are not worthwhile. 3-5hp gain I've seen on a 90mm throttle body vs a 105 on a v8. Tuning by Nick did a throttle body comparison on a k series and going form a stock k series throttle body to a j37 gained 5whp peak and a few hp here and there throughout the graph. My set up with a supercharger made 666whp and im using a stock j32 untouched throttle body.
The 8th gen Accords with the J35Z2 really suffer because of that lack of low end torque, because of the camshaft setup. I bet this would fix that issue.
I have a 2006 Acura MDX 3.5L. What can Mod can you recommend for better fuel effiency and more HP? I think my MDX already have a stock Spacer. How much advantage do I have with just placing the Thermal gaskets to my original Spacer? And, will a Trottle Body Spacer also help? Thanks. Great videos guys. Will any of these Mods throw off any computer readings, calculations?
Do you guys have anything for an 05 J30A4? Also is a throttle body spacer beneficial with an upgraded air intake or not really with a stock intake plenum?
TB spacers affect plenum volume rather than runner length. So it will react differently. We are setting up our new dyno now and we are going to be doing some good videos breaking down power curves with different parts.
Dawwwwggggg i didnt even realized thats zosh behind the camera. Ol professional ass 😂😂. Ayyy good stuff. Soooo anyways pretty much dont go spacers. Im always in high rpm. Ill probably just do cnc heads and running. And of course, cnc intake.

Like another comment said I'd love to see the J35 magnesium manifold compared to the J37 manifold both being fully ported and polished
I’m running their spacer and deleted the butterflies on my swappped manifold. I’m running swapped runners too. I have both top end and torque
J35Y2 vs J37 intake manifold
Thisss
I have a j35z3 manifold on the car and a j35y2 on the side . What manifold be best for drag racing ? or j37
Y2 is the best flowing manifold
@@ITSHONDEEZY better than the larger 3.7, really? I thought 3.7 was the way to go.

Yep! You recognized his voice 😀
Zosh sounded so professional lol

More of these videos explaining all of your products!!!
We got some more in the works 💪

Just ordered my cams man!! Cant wait!
Any intake manifold that will allow the hood to close on a civic eg swap? Without cutting the hood.
Yes we make our own intake manifold that clears the hood on a civic.

You dont need to do any tuning after installing a spacer.
Love the content. Do you believe the j series is capable of making big power like the 2jz , rbs , and such?
You need to have the p2r conecting rods. The stock rods are too weak for high power
Ideal runner lenght ? Variable . To keep up with say vtec for honda
Have you guys ever tested stacking two spacers?

I can confirm it, put one on mine I'm not taking it off.
Works even better if u have exhaust/ported runners/manifold, etc. Which I do

What would you recommend for a 2014 Honda Ridgeline Sport?
Do you make these for the j30?
Do us Auto guys as you say, so getting the thicker one would be better for us as in racing and daily driving ?
Daily driving will feel the power increase. As you have more power available to you at lower rpm
Are the P2R intake spacer and throttle spacer suitable for stock J35Z2 with Takeda cold air intake system? My car is 2008 Accord.
Yes both will work good on that engine. But instead of TB spacer. I would probably just do our adapter to put the J37 throttle body.
@@PowerRevRacing Thanks for your suggestion.
@@PowerRevRacing P392 (with 2x thermal intake manifold gasket), 16400-RYE-A11, P389, P218, FK002-SC. Does these your suggestion I should buy? ☺

Did you get an answer for a question? I’m trying to do the same for my pilot.
2024 odyssey J35Y6
Anyone ever try a spacer on those?
@P2R would it even fit?
Were you able to find out yet? I’m trying to do the same with my pilot.
@TheChensoccer think suv's and minivans already have the oem spacer
Does this apply to throttle body spacers as well?
