They should have worded it better to "I didn't know demons could harm angels." Angel on angel violence is a thing, she just didn't know demons could hurt angels.
My theory was that Vaggie probably first believed that only angels could bring harm to each other, not thinking that it was the weapons themselves. Therefore, when initially hearing that demons could kill them, she likely thought it was through their own unique means rather than using the angels' own weapons against them.
Clearly before the last two episodes of season one Adam and the exorcist like Lute and Vaggie didn’t know that it was their weapons never themselves that had the power to permanently harmed or truly kill a soul or another exorcist, if so the exorcist would’ve never left behind so many of their weapons after each extermination
@@Gaterman yeah because my original idea was the they didn’t know demons could harm exorcist if they had weapons made from angelic steel and that only they had that power which is why Lute ripped off Vaggie’s wings instead of cutting them off because she thought it’d be as effective as cutting out her eye with her angelic sword
@@Gaterman actually I believe the exorcist are angelic bioroids why elder would they all be female with the same body base and the same violent aggressive warrior nature
@@Gaterman actually I believe that the exorcist are immortal angelic bioroids created to aid Adam in the exterminations, why else would they all be female with the same body base and the same violent aggressive nature
Alastor also "killed" the old Overlords without angelic weapons. Made them disappear forever. Although I don't think he killed them, he most likely separated their souls from their bodies and ate them. It is also implied that the owners of souls can destroy the souls of their slaves without angelic weapons. When Alastor promised to tear Husk's soul apart, he pulled the chain as if it were his soul and if he broke it, he would destroy Husk's existence. That's why Angel has to come to Valentino's studio, he'll just kill him.
I've been theorizing that Alastor was given some magical space by Lilith where he imprisons demons and has them tortured in a worse punishment than hell. Also that when a demon signs their souls away, their contract acts more like a control device of sorts. Kind of like Akito to the zodiacs in Fruits Baskets. They're technically not being forced, but it's like a calling inside of them that they can't ignore
I agree with you about the "plothole" When it comes to Adam's holy beam, I head canon that he used it to forge the angelic weapons so they are at least equal in power with his beam potentially being more powerful than the weapons.
We literally see him conjure his guitar (which is a holy weapon since getting hit by it was enough to make Alastor run) out of the same holy light. There should be no debate, Adams beams are equal to or greater than angelic weapons. Also his guitar, beams and Lute's sword (in the flashback at least) are more golden than the silver of the other angelic weapons meaning they could be of greater strength which could also lead to Vaggie not thinking the normal silver ones capable of killing angles cause she was harmed by the golden ones.
Some debate that only angelic weapons can hurt sinners, but the beams hurting them makes sense. It would tell us why angelic weapons cam hurt sinners, they are infused with angelic steel which holds angelic power , the beams should be stronger since they are raw angelic power concentrated
There is also the trauma caused by the injury. Cutting out an eye can be extreamly painful and the wings being ripped also would have been futher pain. In serious cases, it is possible for the brain to block out or not register important details of what happened. Such as how Vaggie blacks out just seconds after Lute and Adam take her halo. When she wakes up she is disoriented, she is able to comprehend that she has been abandoned and left for dead in Hell. But may have blocked out that an angelic weapon was involved in her injury.
I do have personal experience of the brain blocking out trauma. A couple of years ago I had been having a seizure disorder. When I would wake up I would be disoriented with no idea of what occured. My last memory before I blacked out was feeling faint. At one point I had a cluster of grandmal seizures that left me hospitalized an entire weekend. And feeling moody because there is a span of hours where I have no idea what occured to me in those hours.
I do hope that angelic weapons get more expended in the series, because I think the difference when it kills you and when you barly survive can be kinda confusing ❤
I wonder if Carmilla would make angelic nukes and use them as warheads like ICBMs on Heaven. That would be insane bc if both Heaven and Hell go to nuclear war, it would be devastating
If Adam’s lasers can permanently kill souls, perhaps Pentious ascended the moment right before the beam hit the ship, and perhaps we can get some insight on if this actually is what happened in season 2
It is said in death, their energy forms in pools. However, because he reached redemption in his final moments his energy changed into holy energy. Angelic beams can kill sinners bit likely can't kill angels unlike angelic steel. So the system glitches and he remanifested as an angel. However, other sinners can't tale this path directly because killing yourself to gain a higher existence isn't noble and likely won't allow them to ascend.
My theory is that angelic/holy weapons/energy doesn't just "erase" a soul killed by it. Instead it sends them to the higher power responsible for their judgement (God?). This power then decides what to do with the soul or where it should go next.
@@Soluswithyou it is confirmed they don't erase souls. The energy is transferred into the environment based on the souls purity. That's why most unredeemed sinners create eyes and creatures in hell when killed by angelic weapons. If a soul is redeemed and killed by angelic light, then instead of destroying the boy and the body remanifests in hell, it arises to heaven.
I'm thinking that if a sinner in Hell who isn't redeemed is killed again, they get erased, and since Sir Pentious was redeemed while residing in Hell, he went to Heaven instead. This could also mean that a being that resides in Heaven that hasn't fallen to darkness (like Adam and Lute obviously have) is killed, then they will be erased. This could mean that Adam might manifest in Hell as a sinner, and Sir Pentious's afterlife can be in jeopardy if Sera's attitude toward redemption and her Machiavellian ways don't change. At the very least i could see Sera ordering Sir Pentious to be quarantined, at the worst I could see the corrupt portion of the angels looking up recipes for roasted snake.
I think Adam, Lute, Vaggie and the Exterminators didn't know that their weapons that they left in Hell would be used against them, they thought they'll just heal from their injuries from the holy weapons and not being killed by the same thing that they used against the sinners.
I assumed Vaggie just didn't know that Demons could kill Angels. She was attacked by Lute, her eye cut out and her wings ripped off. She probably didn't think it was the weapons themselves that could do damage to them, but rather the fact that it was another Angel, and a higher ranking one at that.
The thousands of years of exterminations without incident most likely just left the exorcists arrogant into thinking they were truly immortal like Carmilla pointed out, so basically their ignorance of the truth and pride left them open to such a flaw.😉 Also, Lucifer may be immune to angelic weapons because of how powerful he is, but we don’t know about Charlie or the Deadly Sins, so I’m scared that may come up in the future on both shows.😥
It's very likely that higher ranking Angels are immune to the Angelic Weapons, however, it would be interesting to see Michael and his sword. If Michael was the one who actually cast Lucifer out of Heaven in the show, with his sword, then Lucifer could be immune to Angelic Weapons, but Michael's sword could be the exception.
I’m not sure if a holy weapon would kill Charlie, since her dad is so powerful, however her mom would be considered a sinner, idk where she would lye on that chart
Well technically Vaggie never fallen just mutilated and left to die in H*ll if she was she how come she was able to visit Heaven with Charlie but Lu couldn’t
@@darryljack6612 but seeing as sparing the child was the act that caused her to be considered fallen, it could be that both vaggie and lute saw that as the exact moment of her fall, not lute saying she had fallen
I have something interesting that was going into mind when we look back at the photo table of the vees we can see pictures of several overlords like zeezi and carmilla but theres also a picture of charlie and lucifer and when say 'the future of hell belongs to the vees' it means that they are giong after charlie to convince lucifer to give his soul to the vees in exchange of charlie's life and that i also think we can get some backstorys for some overlords like zestial or the nergal(the blue flaming overlord we see in ep3) and finally husk challenging valentino into playing poker to win angel dust's soul season 2 would be amazing i can feel it.
My personal theory for the next season is we find out a new piece of info: angelic weapons kill sinners in hell, but they don't kill angels. Rather, the angels just get demoted to sinners. Meaning there are going to be a host of ex-exorcists wandering around Hell after reforming there wondering "what the heck is going on?"
i never understood that supposed plot hole. like i just figured that they didn't knwo it cuased perminant injuries or death so i was always confused seeing people comment that it is a plot hole that non of the angels know about the fact theyr'e own weapons can kill them.
I remembered something and to me it makes heaven a lot scarier. From what my grandparents told me about their beliefs, is that if people go to heaven and their family members go to hell, then the ones up in heaven completely forget about the ones in hell. But the ones in hell can see the people in heaven. Lute mentioned to Adam that only the high angels and the Exorcists know about the extermination. That means the winners/hellborn don't. Which made me think, since they don't, that they don't know about the portal to hell the exorcists use, do they know about hell?
I always just saw Vaggie's and Adam's obliviousness to the Angelic weapons harming them as an example of the mindset of Sinners and Demons could never harm an Angel but Angels can harm another Angel, since thats the order of things in the universe (Lucifer can only be killed by a stronger Angel, etc). So Lute injuring Vaggie to them was just one Angel injuring another who has "Sinned" and thus was weaker. The fact it had nothing to do with that mindset and it was simply the angelic steel didn't even cross their minds due to having the wrong idea ingrained into their heads for so long.
The best theory I have is that heaven knew (or at least suspected) that the angelic steel could hurt or even kill the exercists, but kept this from them for some reason. Likely as a means of control.
8:26. Maybe when a Sinner "dies", they get judged again. If they´re still are "bad", they truly dies. But if they have "redeem they self, they becomes "Winners".
AGREE! I think it was and for some reason its gotten way too overcomplicated. its NOT a plot hole, its clear the Angels LITERLALY believed they were unkillable cuz none of them were ever killed before. It makes no sense that its getting so confused like this. It might be a little confusing since the season was only 8 episodes and it got mentioned in passing maybe a couple times, but still.
The Thing We need To Know In Whats a Imp Game In Hazbin Hotel Like Young Stolas Said In Helluva Boss In S2 EP-1 (PS/Stolas Is a Innocent Lil Bird In That Episode It's So Cute ❤️❤️❤️❤️)
It kind of the same in Supernatural. The Angels in SPN are lead to believe that only angels could kill other angels. Which gave them this invulnerable mindset to other lower beings. They never thought about *angel blade* being wielded on the wrong hand other than a angel. As such angel blades became a common thing as the season progress.
I honestly thought that the shock of being punished so severely and finding herself in hell completely overran any logic questioning Vaggie could come up with. She literally had her entire existence changed and was trapped in an extremely hostile environment, it'd be more about survival, like knowing about hell's history and political landscape than questioning how she got where she was, and what happened to her,
We must also keep in mind what Sera said to Emily, that "if you ask yourself questions you risk falling". And if this applies to a seraph angel then it also applies to exterminating angels such as Adam, Lute and above all Vaggie. If we look at the scene Vaggie has not fulfilled her role, therefore she is considered by Lute as a fallen angel and therefore a sinner. For this reason they did not worry if the angelic weapons caused harm to the angels themselves.
Unless she thought the healing process was connected to her wings and halo that were taken from her. Perhaps she didn't think she could heal without the halo, but it takes a higher-level angel to remove the halo from another angel unless they're actually killed.
I feel like if Adam could permanently kill sinners with his holy beams he would have used them during previous exterminations, and the beams resulting in temporary harm would explain why they aren't his go to method. (Assuming he hasn't used the beams much during previous exterminations.) Lucifer being able to drop an angelic bomb on hell with permanent results (if this is still canon) could be explained as a difference in power. E.g., metaphorically both beer and vodka are alcohol but drinking a bottle of beer is fine where drinking a bottle of vodka might require a trip to the hospital.
He states that the exterminations are entertainment and some would say using more personal means are more entertaining than just blasting them out of existence
I don't know why there is so much debate on Adam's beams when nobody doubts his guitar being a holy weapon and we see him conjure that out of the same light he shoots.
I love your videos, you always talk about very interesting topics😊. Hey, for a future video I think you can talk about the Hellaverse timeline, I mean the events of Hazbin Hotel happen before, during or after those of Helluva Boss????
Well, in Adam's word: "They can do that? That's lame". Because no one thought that could be a thing. Carmilla found out that by accident. I guess Vaggie either thought she lost her supposed invulnerability the moment she fell or didn't think her damage were going to be permanent and eventually regenerate her lost eye. But I mean, the thing didn't have time to be explored thoroughly, I love the show but the writing had been a little rushed, probably because of the 8-episode format
In my personal opinion, the angels could be much stronger than any human or demons and here’s why- 1. Seraphim (plural for Seraph) Seraphim means "the fiery ones.” These angels are mentioned in the Bible as having faces, hands and feet. Each seraph has six wings, four of which they used to cover themselves in the presence of God as a sign of humility; they use the other two to fly. They cry out "holy, holy, holy" and appear to worship God continuously. They are often depicted in religious art. These are the angels who are closest to God. They encircle his throne and emit an intense, fiery light representing his love. Seraphim are considered "fiery serpents," and not even the other divine beings may look at them. There are only four of them, and each has four faces. When they come to Earth, they leave their serpent appearance behind, preferring tall, thin, clean-cut human embodiments. 2. Cherubim (Plural of Cherub) These angels are the keepers of celestial records and hold the knowledge of God. They are sent to Earth with great tasks, such as expelling humankind from the Garden of Eden. Ancient art depicts cherubim as sphinx-like, winged creatures with human faces, not the fat babies with wings that now grace greeting cards and book covers. Ophaniel, Rikbiel and Zophiel are cherubim, as was Satan before his fall to evil. 3. Thrones (or more accurately Ophanim) Thrones' appearance is perhaps the most bizarre of the first grouping. They are said to look like great glowing wheels covered with many eyes. They serve as God's chariot and dispense his judgment in order to carry out his desires for us. 4. Dominions or Dominations The angels in the second group can exist in a state of transition between the celestial and human worlds. They are considered heavenly governors, attempting to strike a balance between matter and spirit, good and bad. Think of dominions as middle management. They receive orders from seraphim and cherubim, then dish out duties to the "worker bee" angels of the lower orders. Their main purpose is to make sure that the cosmos remains in order by sending down power to heads of government and other authority figures. Zadkiel (sometimes called Hashmal) is the chief of this order. 5. Virtues Shaped like sparks of light, virtues are in charge of maintaining the natural world, and they inspire living things in areas such as science. They also take orders from the angels above and convert them into miracles for the deserving. When they make themselves known to us in their earthly forms, they are musicians, artists, healers and scientists who work with the power of love, as well as physics. The two angels at the ascension of Jesus are believed to have been virtues. 6. Powers In their celestial forms, powers appear like brightly colored, hazy fumes. Powers are border patrol agents between heaven and Earth. They are the angels of birth and death. Some believe that they also preside over demons who wish to overthrow the world, while others, namely St. Paul, thought the powers themselves were the evil ones. In any case, powers are a group of experts who serve as advisers in terms of religion, theology and ideology. 7. Principalities The third group of angels is the one ordinary humans will have the most interaction with. First in this group are the principalities. These angelic beings are shaped like rays of light. Just like a principal in school, the principalities oversee everything. They guide our entire world - nations, cities and towns. What's more, they are in charge of religion and politics. As if their plate isn't full enough, they are also in charge of managing the earthly duties of the angels below them. 8. Archangels These, along with the angels, are guardians of people and all things physical. But don't call on them to help you personally; archangels respond best when dealing with matters involving all humankind, such as justice. This order is most commonly known because some are mentioned by name in the Bible - Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. Archangels engage in spiritual warfare by fighting against demons (e.g., Michael) or bring messages from God, such as when Gabriel came to Mary to tell her that she was going to be the mother of Jesus. It is believed there are only seven archangels. 9. Saints (or possibly Guardians) These might just be called "regular angels." They are guardians of people and all things physical and are the most common type of angels. These angels are sent as messengers to humanity. Personal guardian angels come from this category. Angels may protect and warn humans, as well as act as warriors on behalf of God.
I was going to say maybe she didn’t know because when lute did hurt her with the sword. Perhaps she , Lute and Adam thought that she was no longer an angel. She portrayed Heaven for not killing a sinner and right then and there she was fallen. Making the case why she didn’t or they didn’t know because technically Vaggie at the moment a demon/fallen angel
The only way to kill an Exorcist Angel is with angelic weapons as well, Vaggie is even holding her angelic spear which is the answer to this very important question of how angels can be defeated. Carmilla even demonstrated this when she managed to kill an Exorcist Angel with her angelic ballet flats so she'll protect her daughters.😮🩰⚔️🗡️
I just assumed it was a slip in writing. Like they meant for Carmila to say: "Did you know Angels could be killed before you knew about me?" But they mistakenly wrote "Could be harmed", and didn't catch it.
please do a video on Roo theories. Like her being Eve or that she is trapped in the pride ring's moon. There is so much potential to make speculation videos on her.
I don’t think the higher ups and rulers of Heaven like the Seraphims, Elders/Heavenly Virtues, Archangels, and obviously God can’t be killed or harmed by angelic weapons.
Especially not God, and my only reasoning for that is God would be the sole creator of existence (Not the universe, because we saw that Angels were actually expanding the universe in the first episode) and would likely be immune to any harm. They did the same thing on Supernatural. In Supernatural, there is a gun that can kill anything, and there are only 7 things in creation that the gun cannot kill, and one of the cast members said God cannot be killed, because he was the creator and therefore outside of creation. If God in Hazbin Hotel created everything, then it's very likely that he would be immune to Angelic Weapons.
Look at carmela’s eyes. the surrounding skin looks burnt from hellfire like blitz. her eyes are red as a result. imagine her as a winner who joined the extermination to get into hell and save her Daughters.
Vaggie is sweet, brave and gold hearted person, but she is as intelligent as Charlie is, naive and quite stupid, but still sweet. I dont blame her that she didnt realize the angelic weapons can hurt angels :P
It's also possible that Vaggie genuinely didn't realize that an angelic weapon in a demon's hands is enough to hurt an angel. The experience of having her eye gouged out and wings chopped off was certainly more than traumatic, and she definitely wouldn't have wanted to dwell in it and retrace events. She may have associated angelic weapons with angels and demon-killing so strongly that it just didn't occur to her that a demon wielding an angelic weapon could also harm an angel
Hey Deepcut, i found something intresting when i was do research on something calld a "Mara". What I understand that Lillith was something similar to a mara and is the monther of The Wood Nymph, or at least in nordic folklore.
Right out the gate, I wanna say that I never saw the plothole. Was she lying when she said she didn't know angels could be killed? No. She knew angelic steel damages the actual tangible substance of a soul, but as angels are already indoctrinated into a mindset of invincibility, so the easiest thing the mind could do is accept the false idea of angelic superiority going THAT far. When you don't have any stimuli to train yourself differently, why wouldn't you have been in the same place as her?
I honestly thought it was more like an oversight cause she was hiding the angel part 😇, I also think you were right because they were made for demon 😈 and never used on them
How is Alastor able to kill other sinners then? His murders of previous overlords are implied to be permanent, but he doesn't have angelic steel, so...?
this is a question we don't have an answer to yet. it seems like we are going to dive more into the hotel residences past in season 2 so maybe we will find out then.
I would think that whoever came up with the idea for Angelic Steel would have realized that it would work on angels too. Maybe the weapons don't actually destroy souls and just return them to zero leading them to reincarnate or, maybe, the concept for the weapons where taken and used without the original creators' knowledge? While I do hope Adam does manage to comeback, I'd be okay if it was only in flashbacks if they recontextulized parts of the story. The scene where the six figures Lucifer envisioned probably isn't completely symbolic as they're clearly the same six Elders that scolded Lucifer in the storybook from the first episode. We can tell because they have the same halos. Also hope they clarify what the Exorcists are exactly. They seem to have both human and Heavenborn traits. The fallout of the battle at the end of season 1 might lead to an escalation in the conflict. If Adam is their actual creator, then it wouldn't be hard to see his death being used to incense them to redouble their efforts possibly without Heaven's backing.
Hello Cartoon Universe, I am wondering if you would like to check out the short crossover animation titled Helluva Boss VS Murder Drones by Morø Productions. I would like to see a video hearing your views on this. I like your Imp cut and Drone cut designs.
The one thing i wanted to real discussions on that never really happened (as far as i know) is the fact that you have to die again to get into heaven properly as a sinner. Yeah, there are ways to get in between the two relams (portals), but if you used them you didnt get redeemed by the black boxed morality system (which i do like). It offers up a very difficult question and situation people need to ask. Do i put in the work to better myself and risk oblivion for heaven, or live in hell where they know they'll have a life
With that explained there's two other things about Vaggie I'm wondering about. Will Lucifer teach Vaggie about stuff she can do now as a Fallen Angel? Second, what did Adam and Lute do with Vaggie's Halo after they left her for dead?
I believe the holy light can cause permanent death just like the weapons. And as for Sir Pentious, I still expect that we will see a flashback to those moments after he gives the order to fire. I'm expecting him to accept that he will die, and be okay with that. I'm expecting something where he quietly, talking to himself, perhaps while looking at a picture of Cherry Bomb, just in his last moments asks her to forgive him. And then, he vanishes in a bright light. This confuses the eggy bois who look where he stood and more or less go "Uhh, Boss?" right before Adam obliterates them all. This being the moment of Sir Pentious' redemption, where he has proven himself worthy of redemption and is taken out of the battle and manifests in heaven before Adam can destroy him. Of course, I'm also expecting Sera to go into panic mode about this and want to keep it covered up. My theory for season 2 will have Sera smile and proclaim (in private) how wonderful this news is, and then try to manipulate Emily and Sir Pentious to "go back to the hotel to share the good news and do everything they can to help other sinners redeem as well". This buys her time, Sir Pentious will of course happily agree to go back to the hotel, why would he not agree? All of his friends are there and they need his help so they can follow his example and follow his lead. Emily would be manipulated into going under the guise of helping, but really it's to keep her from spreading the word across heaven before Sera has a chance to get on top of it and figure out her next move. Of course this means word will get out in Hell, but that is a problem Sera can deal with. She just has to allow Lute to do what she already wants to do; purge all of the sinners in hell. Start fresh. If nobody remains to tell what happened, it might as well have never happened. And with Charlie dead, Lucifer will fall into another 10,000 years of depression and not want to do anything.
I think they should have made it where exterminators can be harmed by hellborns and sinners. And it was some tech that allowed the exterminators to instantly respawn in death instantly in hell. At least then stakes would be there for both sides.
I have a theory that the angelic steel doesn’t kill, but instead force’s a soul to switch it’s existence. For example, a soul in hell when killed by an angelic weapon would re-manifest in heaven if they deserve it while the rest would be stuck in this “wonder land” like state for the rest of time. The the opposite would also be true for souls in heaven. That said, now I’m wondering if Lucifer is in Hell via public execution by an angelic blade while in Heaven.
My theory is that the way Angelic weapons are explained to the angels is that they specifically only harm those who have sinned, possibly with the damage they are capable of inflicting scaling to how sinful the person was. In this case Vaggie might assume that the angelic weapons could hurt her because she had spared the sinner, she swore an oath that as an exorcist she would kill all sinners and she broke that oath by sparing that child. Oath breaking is considered one of the worst of sins so it works. Ironically this would also explain why Adam could be killed by angelic weapons at the end: he swore an oath not to target the hellborn as part of his extermination runs and he knowingly violated that oath by attacking Charlie. And it could imply that the Angel that was killed by Carmilla also unknowingly violated this same oath, if Carmilla’s daughters are actually hellborn. Or alternatively the weapon judged Carmilla to be less sinful than the Angel because she wielded her weapon for love while the Angel did so for hatred (or fun). Then again arguably reveling in the deaths of others is also a sin. However it’s possible this was a lie and the angelic weapons simply are capable of indiscriminately killing anyone in heaven or hell, even those that can’t normally die.
Here's something that I just thought about. In the third season of a Hazbin Hotel, imagine most of the season being a final battle of the overlord's versus heaven essentially, as with more and more sinners redeemed, their power and influence would wain. The real kicker in that situation would be that Alastor would have to make a decision if he was going to stand with that hotel or with the overlords. Given what we have seen from Alastor, I would believe that he would stay with the hotel simply because of the fact that he doesn't respect any of the current overlords. Prove that you read this Impcut-senpai. What's your opinion on battle musicals?
“Before you found out about me, did you know that angels could be harmed?” I think that line really is what did the show in. Not kiIIed. Not permanently injured. Just harmed in general. The reason why a lot of us are scratching are heads is because there’s so much confusion as to what it is. Carmilla says the line about being harmed. She also expresses how angelic steel is the key. When Velvet brings the angel’s head to the meeting, the shock seems to be that they can be kiIIed. Vaggie sustained two injuries. One with angelic steel and one simply by Lute’s bare hands. Maybe the conversation could have revolved around regeneration? Maybe Vaggie believed angels can regenerate but never learned how? That way she’d still be surprised that regular injuries would do more sizable damage than she thought? Idk. I feel like it’s just such a glaring plot hole to justify why Hell never retaliated. I mean, they changed the narrative of the series from overpopulation to uprising. You’d think plenty of angels would’ve gotten hurt during then. I just feel like this show was put between a rock and a hard place and it needed both more development time and more episodes to flesh out the story. If we get a season two, I hope it can do some damage control.
I think overpopulation/uprising isn't a plothole, but rather a discrepancy between how each side portrays it and which will be clarified later on. Hell always talks about it being as ways to prevent overpopulation and heaven is the one talking about uprising. Any way, ot seems that Lilith is probably one of the keys to understanding why the different perspectives (and when they clearly weren't uprising yet)
As far as Adam's heavenly beams go, I think it was kind of a gift from the higher-classed angels for the first man to make it to heaven. It could be like the earliest test in a method to kill sinners before they came up with the easier method of angelic weaponry. As if Adam were actually a test subject, but they let him keep it because it's Adam. The beams might be more powerful, but they'd still send an army as a just in case for if demons found a way to kill angels. It would've been a stupid move to only use one angel with that concern still in the air. But, it might have been more difficult and riskier to give them all the ability to shoot beams like that.
I’m wondering if Adam’s angelic beam works the same as angelic steel because people saying that why Adam didn’t remanifest in hell well he did die to angelic beam, but when sir pentious died he was redeemed
@@fantasy-writer-v5z I was confused because people saying that if sir pentious reanimated in heaven, Adam can be reanimated in hell, which makes no sense
I found interesting detail while watching ep 7 which shows how dumb Vaggie is. Carmilla: Before you found out about me, did you know angels could be harmed. Vaggie: No She also didn't knew that you can kill angel with angelic weapon. She didn't know even tho Lute took her eye and wing with angelic weapon
Also angelic beam cant perm kill a sinner, as we saw sir pentious respawned. isnt angelic weapon that kill sinners, its the material "angelic steal"(holy light isnt made of angelic steal, so it doesnt have the same effect). The Bomb which can lucifer drop, is likely just a big bomb made of angelic steal, like cherri's bombs in ep8.
Honestly when I heard that Lucifer could be killed by a more powerful angel I had a theory that maybe Lucifer could perish at the end of the series and Charlie would become the new ruler. But that’s just a theory.
I thought the hellborn (imps, hell hounds, succubi, etc.) had shorter lifespans than living humans. And that sinners and above were the only immortals. I also theorize that angelic steel doesnit's really kill a sinner or demon, so much as it calls the universe to recast judgment, and if the soul that was slain is judged unworthy again, then they are submitted to oblivion.
My own thoughts are that heaven and hell have different perspectives on the permanent deaths. Basically the angels believe that their weapons hurt and kill sinners not because the steel is special, rather because the angel user is special. This is a real thought process, more common in eastern fiction than western. Given how highly the angels in heaven seem to think of themselves I wouldn't be surprised if this thought process is relatively common. And since sinners largely see what the weapons do without an angel using them they would of course see the metal is special and maintain the more western idea of the tool giving power.
im dumb!
Samesies. UwU brain hurty.
@@CartoonUniversewheres deep cut . That's 3d cut. WHAT DID YOU DO WHITH OUR DEEP-CUT
Have you seen ARK the animated series?
Its out!
They should have worded it better to "I didn't know demons could harm angels." Angel on angel violence is a thing, she just didn't know demons could hurt angels.
Yeah, that would have been better.
It's amazing how Carmilla asking "did you know angels could be harmed?" lead to so much confusion.
@Gaterman yeah. And correction: Vaggie is not a sinner. She's justamente a fallen angel.

you killed everyone deepcut, you killed them all
Alastor also "killed" the old Overlords without angelic weapons.
He has some kind of subspace where he imprisons and torture those overlords, I think what's left of them are those shadows he can summon.
I prefer the angels having to do something to make angelic steel special over angelic steel just being kryptonite 😂
Which means Adam could come back as a sinner
Some debate that only angelic weapons can hurt sinners, but the beams hurting them makes sense. It would tell us why angelic weapons cam hurt sinners, they are infused with angelic steel which holds angelic power , the beams should be stronger since they are raw angelic power concentrated
@@KenanLaudat-tp3bp true
I doubt he could ascend before the beam would've hit. Unless he just wasn't on the ship after he said fire
She went against (presumably)gods orders, I wouldn’t be surprised if she assumed the angelic weapons just worked on her because of that
I assumed Vaggie just didn't know that Demons could kill Angels. She was attacked by Lute, her eye cut out and her wings ripped off. She probably didn't think it was the weapons themselves that could do damage to them, but rather the fact that it was another Angel, and a higher ranking one at that.
This still feels like a major plot hole.
The thousands of years of exterminations without incident most likely just left the exorcists arrogant into thinking they were truly immortal like Carmilla pointed out, so basically their ignorance of the truth and pride left them open to such a flaw.😉
Also, Lucifer may be immune to angelic weapons because of how powerful he is, but we don’t know about Charlie or the Deadly Sins, so I’m scared that may come up in the future on both shows.😥
It's very likely that higher ranking Angels are immune to the Angelic Weapons, however, it would be interesting to see Michael and his sword.
Adam didn’t either. “They use our own weapons against us, that’s how they kill us!??” Or something like that in episode 8… safe to assume, no one knew
Could be that Vaggie thought that only Angels can harm other angels
It's because Vaggie fell before and so she might have thought that she couldn't hurt Lute, but Lute could hurt her
Well technically Vaggie never fallen just mutilated and left to die in H*ll if she was she how come she was able to visit Heaven with Charlie but Lu couldn’t
She got hurt even before she was denounced as an angel

Vaggie was properly more focused on the fact that her eye and wings were cut off more than how she was able to get hurt 😐
i never understood that supposed plot hole. like i just figured that they didn't knwo it cuased perminant injuries or death so i was always confused seeing people comment that it is a plot hole that non of the angels know about the fact theyr'e own weapons can kill them.
Great video can’t wait to see the next one
THIS!! I dont get why this isnt easy to see. I feel like this whole thing has gottne so overcomplicated and it's really not a plot hole.
Though, Stolas did heal from injuries made with an angelic knife, his leg and shoulder were stabbed but a week later he was ok again.
Stolas may have a scar under his feathers.
“Hit that subscribe button because I’m lonely” Damn dude, that got dark.
I thought it was supposed to show the hubris of angels that all of them would think that they are unkillable, even with their own weapons.

The fans are clearly putting in more thought into this then the creators did.
That’s what we do! Compulsively obsess over our favorite things.
I take it as VAGGIE was pretending to not know to “blend in” but idk
Unless she thought the healing process was connected to her wings and halo that were taken from her. Perhaps she didn't think she could heal without the halo, but it takes a higher-level angel to remove the halo from another angel unless they're actually killed.
I feel like if Adam could permanently kill sinners with his holy beams he would have used them during previous exterminations, and the beams resulting in temporary harm would explain why they aren't his go to method. (Assuming he hasn't used the beams much during previous exterminations.)
Lucifer being able to drop an angelic bomb on hell with permanent results (if this is still canon) could be explained as a difference in power.
This makes a lot of sense thanks for clearing that up! wish the show made this a little more obvious though.

I want to see this happen
In my personal opinion, the angels could be much stronger than any human or demons and here’s why-
1. Seraphim (plural for Seraph)
Seraphim means "the fiery ones.” These angels are mentioned in the Bible as having faces, hands and feet.
2. Cherubim (Plural of Cherub)
These angels are the keepers of celestial records and hold the knowledge of God.
3. Thrones (or more accurately Ophanim)
Thrones' appearance is perhaps the most bizarre of the first grouping. They are said to look like great glowing wheels covered with many eyes. They serve as God's chariot and dispense his judgment in order to carry out his desires for us.
4. Dominions or Dominations
The angels in the second group can exist in a state of transition between the celestial and human worlds.
5. Virtues
Shaped like sparks of light, virtues are in charge of maintaining the natural world, and they inspire living things in areas such as science. They also take orders from the angels above and convert them into miracles for the deserving. When they make themselves known to us in their earthly forms, they are musicians, artists, healers and scientists who work with the power of love, as well as physics. The two angels at the ascension of Jesus are believed to have been virtues.
6. Powers
In their celestial forms, powers appear like brightly colored, hazy fumes.
7. Principalities
The third group of angels is the one ordinary humans will have the most interaction with.
8. Archangels
These, along with the angels, are guardians of people and all things physical.
9. Saints (or possibly
Guardians)
These might just be called "regular angels." They are guardians of people and all things physical and are the most common type of angels. These angels are sent as messengers to humanity. Personal guardian angels come from this category. Angels may protect and warn humans, as well as act as warriors on behalf of God.
The angels come in different shapes and sizes, they’re celestial entities based on your height and size.
This is Super Awesome with the Angelic Weapons from *Hazbin Hotel!* Keep up the Great Work dude! 😁👌👍

Hm, I see, very fair points.
I will look forward to your Theory.
@@embermotoIt seems implied that he can tear Husk's soul apart if he wanted to because he owns his soul.

“Before you found out about me, did you know that angels could be harmed?”
I think that line really is what did the show in.
@@pedroff_1Oh my gosh, I never even realized that the wording was always associated with one side! Great catch!
“Because I’m lonely” 💀
I’m wondering if Adam’s angelic beam works the same as angelic steel because people saying that why Adam didn’t remanifest in hell well he did die to angelic beam, but when sir pentious died he was redeemed
I think it does but I believe Sir. Pentious ascended the moment just before Adam supposedly vaporized him
@@fantasy-writer-v5z I was confused because people saying that if sir pentious reanimated in heaven, Adam can be reanimated in hell, which makes no sense
@@HunterPoppleton yeah because unlike Pentious theirs no denying that Adam is double dead🗡️
@@fantasy-writer-v5z yeah I tried to explain this to people they didn’t listen… at all
@@HunterPoppleton same here
I found interesting detail while watching ep 7 which shows how dumb Vaggie is.
Carmilla: Before you found out about me, did you know angels could be harmed.
Vaggie: No
She also didn't knew that you can kill angel with angelic weapon.
She didn't know even tho Lute took her eye and wing with angelic weapon
I love how Charlie and Vaggie are kind of like reverse Pantie and Stocking (Anime angels who are really gross..)
Yeah I thought Vaggie’s wings 🪽 growing back was character growth to
The lot of this show is amazing
Also angelic beam cant perm kill a sinner, as we saw sir pentious respawned. isnt angelic weapon that kill sinners, its the material "angelic steal"(holy light isnt made of angelic steal, so it doesnt have the same effect). The Bomb which can lucifer drop, is likely just a big bomb made of angelic steal, like cherri's bombs in ep8.
I love how 😂 Adam just kamahahamied Pent.
I wonder if lute will regrow her arm or the robot arm because the show creator might want to go that way more
Honestly when I heard that Lucifer could be killed by a more powerful angel I had a theory that maybe Lucifer could perish at the end of the series and Charlie would become the new ruler. But that’s just a theory.
Wait- since Nifty stabbed Adam with a normal knife, won’t that mean Adam could technically revive & return next season?
It'd be lame if his angelic beams couldn't kill souls.
Because that'd really take away from his threat level
Keep up the good work ok brother
I love your imp.
I think the angels thought that other angels could harm angels and not the weapons itself.
Coeection deep cut it seems like Lute cotorized the wound with her sword
