Bro was so talented - honestly I agree that he was one of the top talent wise to come out his sound/generation. His style absolutely wasn’t for everybody but it really resonated with the youth a lot, and for him to be able to freestyle these songs that, again aren’t for everybody but captures some as an art form - for him to be able to just go in the booth and make multiple hits, and basically just pick ones to release - and to freestyle effortlessly in interviews and make cohesive works with amazing melodies (one of my favorite songs is his Campfire Freestyle - not that many artists where I can say my favorite work from them is a live freestyle) is a talent you only see once or twice in a generation. People shouldn’t compare newer artists with older “legends” to see “who’s better/equal” but I think finding small similarities is harmless, and I’ve noticed how juice had that same freestyle talent for HIS style and the younger sound that biggie had for the 90s style. Personally love this album; not everyone’s cup of tea but I think everyone can at least see how bright this dude and his future were to be. Hopefully he’ll inspire more artists and the legacy will live on. Thanks for this reaction/review, LLJW RIP

I 100% agree with you there. He was a once in a generation type talent. I hope we get to see people who Juice inspired become great artists like him, but to please leave the drugs away. If there’s one thing Juice taught us was that even though he unfortunately suffered from drug addiction and wasn’t able to break from it, he still gave us hope that anybody who is going thru something similar can. The last album he completed was the Outsiders. He didn’t make this album his label did so I understand the confusion on how to feel about it. The artist didn’t create this so this album wasn’t in his vision. The Outsiders is going to be insane when they release it. An album I think you’ll enjoy because I feel like he was tapping into his rapping side of himself with the snippets from that album.

I know a lot of his core fanbase got to hear those snippets and songs they’ve wanted but in comparison to juices other work this is Mid af. It’s not bad just not good. The label is messing up his legacy, Lil Bibby keeps lying to fans about the fake track list and there being no leaks on the album. I just hope Outsiders is better

I agree, it's above average, of course, a million times better than X's records but people hype these albums way too much giving them a sort of status which they don't deserve. But tbh, Circles is definitely an example of a posthumous album done right and deserves all the hype it got.

I hate when people ask “how did he know he was gonna die 🤯🤯?” Like bro every person who is addicted and abuses some type of drug obviously starts to get sick once u stop taking it and it really feels like ur dying everyday so u start to just get high and deal with it bc knowing if u stopped u would have to face the withdrawals that come with it and that is the hardest and most worst feeling and part of trying to get over an addiction bc u then really start feeling like u need it jn order to not feel sick so no it wasnt no prophesy . People who do drugs just know they won’t be here long bc they literally feel there insides hurting and rotting. And clogging up . He didnt just talk about feelin sick and feeling like he is dying for no reason . He fr was going thru withdrawals and that shit fr will have u feeling like ur dying its hard to get through it eachday and withdrawals could last months

I can't get over the fact that he had so many people so close to him hearing his songs about how he's giving up and he knows he gonna die, and still got no help. Stay high is also one of my favorite tracks #1 or #2 behind either wishing well or can’t die I can’t really pick which of these 3 I like the most.

I personally give it a 7/10 cause I feel as though I'm giving points to his label not screwing the album up completely, and the other 6 is towards juice and his message. Although halfway through the album it was becoming the same concept through and through I think the first song really captured what the album was to be about. That's why I'm giving it a 7/10 the other point are some of the songs get repetitive or same concepts but the only songs I didnt like were come and go really. I just dont like edm that much and not too mention his older versions were better. I listened to the old versions after I listened to this one and my favorite was the rock version where it had like drums guitars ect. But yea overall it's a solid album. Also not to mention he didnt talk about heartbreak at all this album which was great to me cause that gets repetitive. Oh also they said theres a deluxe coming and I want already dead and confide on it. *both are from ig live*

The guy was just touring too much, from what I gather from stuff Adam22 says and his gf says, he was going through a cycle of constantly touring, recording on the road and doing drugs to cope with the stresses of that and mental health issues. All straight out of highschool. So he had the wisdom to realise he needed to get better but either didn't have the wisdom(and/or the opportunity from the label) to know he needs to slow his life down if he wants to make any real progress. There is a reason artist take breaks to go into rehab, you just can't do it if your focused all the time on making music.
What really fucks me up is that I think if he had made it a couple more months till Rona really spread, tragically I think the entire world shutting down would have forced him to stop go home and really deal properly with his demons effectively.

Alright I’ve replayed the album about like 4 times and here are my thoughts: there was only 3 new songs on there, 10 songs off the album Were leaked when LilBibby said that no leaks were gonna be on the album which raised my expectations. These leaks were old, like OLD (except for Tell me you love me but that was also leaked a couple weeks after his passing) I’m talking ab from DR4L days. When life’s a mess, come and go, and without me released I thought that was gonna be the vibe for this album because that was new and emotional. The track list was really just thrown together, I don’t know why they wouldn’t keep a certain feel for this collection. They threw old and new tracks on here I can’t really explain besides using this 📈📉📈📉 that’s how I could best explain what I mean. I’m not saying this album is bad cause it’s not really bad. We needed to keep a vibe from these songs: up up and away, righteous, stay high, I want it, wishing well (I’ve compared both versions and the og is better, they literally cut a fire mf verse off that song, made the 808’s over power juices verse, and the instrumental is not loud enough),righteous, titanic. I’m not saying that no hype songs should be on this but at least 1-2 should be a bittersweet song that’s also hype. I think that I’m blanking out on points right now I’ll type more if I remember. But yeah we (people who listen to the leaks) were asking for too much but I kind of don’t blame his team for it cause this nigga literally had at least 1000+ songs leaked and shit. If you never listen to leaks this album would be a decent to a great album (ONCE AGAIN IM NOT SAYING THAT IS ALBUM IS BAD BECAUSE ITS NOT IM JUST TRYING TO NOT BE BIASED TOWARDS JW, IM TRYNA KEEP IT REAL)

    • @Leftovur

      @chimp5154 4 года назад +4

Don't listen to leaks tbh, you're just ruining experiences of new albums to come. You are creating the problem yourself and then complaining and acting as if there's no fix. And keeping the same vibe on all albums is never a must its like trying to complain about xxxtentacion's "?" Album. An artist like juice that has so many songs might have had different plans for them all and his label not knowing where to fill in the blanks. He put together outsiders before his passing his label put together this song and if the rumor is true of having 1000+ songs then there's no real way to categorize all of them because it's simply impossible to remember each song and its vibe and put it into an album unless you made the songs, some albums have different beats and lyrics to offset the vibe but the whole album is to tell a story in order, etc.... Essentially to fix your problem don't listen to unreleased music it's that simple, yea you might want to listen to something new as listening to the same song for years to come usually will have its downs eventually but when artists pour their heart into the music they don't want it to be leaked because it could have been a piece to something bigger or not the final product.

i cried after listening thru my first time and it’s still resinating with me atm and also to add, i think the whole point of this posthumous album was to be a more saddened tone and was a collection of the songs he was talking bout dealing with the demons and the drug addictions and the pills and alll this stuff put into a work of art honestly. i loved the album tbh but i also see where your coming from and i respect the opinion and i understand it as well

I loved this album. Many different points that were touched on were from his perspective. It shows that he knew what he was going through, and because of how he felt about his drug problem. It truly sucks that he died. Way to damn young. #LLJW

I feel for you man, its horrible loosing a good friend that early in life. It sets a bad tone for a while. I had a few friends and family pass around 14 to 15 aswell then had a few more pass around the time juice did. I'm glad to see someone not letting it keep setting a bad tone. Keep grinding and stay blessed bruv

This was one of his best albums ever!
I just hope Juice had been alive right now to see how his album is being loved

The problem lies in that statement. The album would not have gotten this much love if he had been alive. Classic example of legriding.

Buzwe Maka I was a huge Juice fan ever since he released lucid dreams and all girls are the same on soundcloud, he was my fav artist but even I have to admit this album was mid.

Buzwe Maka but if he was alive we wouldn’t be living off his half produced or half written leaks. juice has so much music that’s not fully mixed or finished and if was still here he would fasho give us something better

I've been listening to way too many posthumous albums this year we as fans gotta start stepping in with these rappers cause its all way to much and we have to learn from this tragic story and help in whatever way we can cause if we dont then its just going to keep happening.
