It's a shame T-Mac and Yao were injured. Artest at this point wasn't good enough offensively being forced to score more. Only reason this series went to 7 was because Lakers played down to their competition

Artest was probably one of if not the strongest guys in the NBA at that point. With little effort he was able to move Kobe and get easily get positioning for the offensive rebound. Kobe commits a flagrant foul by elbowing Artest in the throat. The moron with the whistle calls a foul on Artest for getting elbowed in the throat. I tried telling myself that the referees have gotten especially bad this season but I guess they've always been bad. I just didn't remember it being that bad. That foul call was autistic.

Ah so this is where LeBron learned it. He purposely walked over Draymond and got him suspended for next game. And after that they were best buds all of a sudden. Kobe here elbowed Metta and got him thrown out. He then got him as a team mate next season and Artest went on to save Kobe's ass during Game 7 against Bos. Jordan don't need this silly tricks.
