Started taking mine out today. 2014 with 82K miles. noticed extra coolant on the ground with the oil leak. So putting a new gasket on the vacuum pump along with a new water pump. fun times!

My 17 Super Duty 6.7 water pump failed at 37,000 miles. First dealer didn't diagnose it right even though I had pictures and video of it leaking. Second fixed it but they forgot the two little nuts that hold the wire harness trough to the bottom of the engine. I got the two nuts just waiting for it to warm up a little bit outside before I climb under there and put them on. They also replace under warranty all the pulleys on the front of the engine. So I'm kind of happy about that.

Yep mine went 82k, then following week the prim radiator went. Personally I think the tech was leaning on the radiator to hard while replacing the pump and cracked the plastic housing but no biggie. Mishimoto all aluminum prim radiator was set in place and no more leaks. Another great Friday vid Aarod!!!!

Well..... it's good to see what I could be in for, if I ever experience any coolant loss. Knock wood, I haven't thus far. Funny how you seem to have a lot more 6.7 disassembly experience than I have, and we're both Ford dealer techs. Replacing 1.5L engines on Escapes for coolant loss and retail timing chain replacements on '11 to '14 F-150 3.5L Ecoboost are what seems to be keeping me busy these days. Oh.... and let's not forget the dreaded EGR coolers on 3.2L Diesel Transits too.

Mine went around 36,000. Ford replaced under warranty. It showed up during the winter of 2018. Small spot on the driveway then a big spot. Ford spent about 4 hours total (drop off to pick up). Went really fast and all of my “customer added accessories” under the hood were put back into place as well. Ford of Richmond, VA.

I'm pretty damn disappointed with the poor quality of my F350. My water pump started leaking at 80K. The air conditioner leaks freon, the power steering leaks, and I just fixed the vacuum pump oil leak. The computer has crashed, exhaust sensors have failed, the plastic boost tube failed, and a failed map sensor. Engine codes from an upgraded Mishimoto boost tube that required a refresh to eliminate. All in 155K miles. My 7.3 was amazing compared to this disaster
