It was not clear to me, you said one pot will connect to 12 or 13, and the other pot to pin 1, but each potentiometer have 2 cables to connect, can you explain me that? Thank you!

You wire the pot to the pins, yes, but there are 3 pins on the pots.... I've tried putting two of them togheter and take that to 14. It doesn't work, just a crackle when I power it on.. :/

hi ray complete noob here. when you wire to ground you just wire yo anywhere on the board? and that is grounded to the enclosure? or the battery. pleaase i rly wanna get this build but i dont even know how to read schematics so its gettin pretty hard

Good question! Ground is a confusing concept because it means a couple different things. In this circuit because we're using DC, it means the negative battery terminal.

Here's a great short lecture about ground: ruclips.net/video/WwgbgY8mVlY/видео.html

Hit me up with any other questions you have along the way! And upload a video of your little monster when it's done. I'd love t see what you create!

@@RayMcNamaraMusic yess ok i will. for now iim tryin to create simple oscillators with another IC the 40106 schmitt trigger, which i kinda understand how it works circuit wise. but also got an 556 and caps and resistors of different values bc i saw many values on the web and even a bass mod APC (rly wanna do this but cant understand the schematics) also realized different ppl use more or less resistors on thhe APC and well i dont get how it works at all yet but imma just try and follow this guide and see what happens c:

Nice job! What are the pot values?

      500k

      Yeah. What @@saiberukira2803 said.

It's not crucial to be exact with the pots though. I've seen people call for a 1M ohm pots and that might work better. Most of the fun playable sounds are near the top end of the pots when you use 500k.
