Hey guys! Just a quick update: I am alive and 10 months in remission ♥️♥️ thank you so much for your comments and support, I can’t explain how much it means to me. I’ve posted a few updates on my channel if y’all wanna check em out ♥️♥️♥️
I still have not received any help. I'm gonna die n not a single Doctor cares. I'm still trying to pay bills from a year ago. Hopeless. My husband left Me after 25 year's and I have no one. No family, no friends.
ქართული ძალა My niece had lymphoma sadly she died 3 years ago. But, she had a very bad cough and itching. Stage four when it was diagnosed. They were her symptoms. Also she had fluid on her lungs that had to be drained.
Rachel Goldman My niece only lost weight after stem cell transplant. She went anorexic. She had a lot of gruelling treatment.she was only 30 when she passed away. I lost a friend to this awful disease also. Glad you’re doing ok Rachel. 🙏
My brother's started with a lump under his left arm. Quickly followed by abdominal pain and nausea. Losing 60 pounds within 2 and a half months. He was diagnosed on his 19th birthday. He was given a 5% chance of survival. He turned 61 this summer. Treatments have came a long way since my brother was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma back in 1976. Stay strong and God bless.
I have them exact symptoms, I have a lump under my right arm and all of a sudden I started getting dizzy, getting nausea and my stomach hurts quite bad all the time :(
I hate when doctors automatically disregard your symptoms signs and worries just cause youre young, assuming youre perfectly healthy just cause youre young. Nothing should ever be ruled out ever, every day counts in these situations. But im glad youre doing better now! Hope you continue having a long and prosperous life and stay strong
I'm 23 I literally just got back from the doctor for a lump I found under my arm and pain and discomfort.. I was told it no big deal and she wouldn't give me the actual test... I'm so upset but I'm going back if the pain does t go away
@@nadinemartin6570 exactly, i had a friend who died because she had teally bad leg pain, they sent her home, 2 days later she died of a blood clot that was in her leg and went up to her lungs. I recently found out im diabetic after a finger glucose test, after years ago when i had the symptoms of prediabetes and went to the doctor for it, they said no its probably just dehydration, drink more water, and sent me home. Now my fasting glucose level is 210. I mean i admit fault as well for having a bad diet and sedentary lifestyle, but had i gotten told by the doctor that i had prediabetes back then, it wouldve have me the slap of reality that i needed to change, this whole time i thought i was fine, for years, when i wasnt
@@SouthCalifas619 Late response to this post but my doctor misdiagnosed me... I had a lump on my collarbone and he said "its probably a vein" and when I had night sweats he said maybe im stressed cause of covid lock downs. Turns out I had hodgkins lymphoma... im 24 years old. Always listen to your body! I finished chemo and im in remission but im currently doing radiation at the California proton center in San Diego. I switched to a more expensive insurance(blue shield) and I feel the doctors are WAYYY more on top of it. I had an itch on my hand and my oncologist sent me to a dermatologist to make sure its nothing more than an itch. Thats the level of care I needed!
As a Canadian, when I hear someone say, "I don't have doctor money", my heart breaks. We just seriously go to a doctor whenever we damn well need to. I'm glad you were able to be diagnosed and I'm sorry that anyone has to decide to get medical care or not based on money. Be well!
@@Gypsygirl9 For certain there can be. For immediate access to a doctor, it's simple. Even with wait times, we don't have to decide if can afford to pursue treatment. Treatment is free. Those that travel out of country for medical procedures have to pay for it, so that's for those that have the extra funds or no other choice (in the case of a treatment not offered here, although sometimes in that instance, our Health Care plans may cover part of the cost).
@@Gypsygirl9 that's because they can pay. That's the problem with the system. Poor people die because they don't want to visit the doctors. Nobody ever said you have bad doctors.
@@Turkeyinthehay For non-emergency/ life threatening things, there are often long wait times, yes; however, virtually non for emergency/life threatening situations.
I'm horrified by this story. I apologize on behalf of the medical field. No one should ever have said a diagnosis without confirmation. After the first round of antibiotics, we should look at the more unlikely differentials [3rd year med student]. I will learn from your story and try my best to do better.
This worries me. I have had similar feelings and for months! In out er, docs, surg for gallbladder and sinus surg. Which all docs keep saying it's my sinus.... antibiotic has been my life the last year. And I have had a cold for months too. Again sinus infection. Now no insurance, wonderful world right lol.
The Rodriguez Fam careful with taking too many antibiotics. You may become resistant to bacteria or develop c-diff. I hate how freely antibiotics are tossed at patients.
Hey, I need to talk to you. I've had ear pain, no infection for over a yr and a half. I've had labs done. We're fine. 6 months ago I started getting a small lump in neck in same side as my ear pain. I feel horrible and it affects me daily. Bitchy. Bad mood cuz this feeling in my head and ear. I'm begging anyone to give m a heads up on what this might be. I've seen e.n.t a yr ago. Gave me valium. Which helped. Said I had to.m.j and I know I don't. I honestly think I have cancer. Just need guidance. No one will take me seriously
I told one of my pacient she has leukaemia just because of some oral signs: the aspect of the bleeding when I made the incision I had to do for another pathology, the aspect of her skin, and a lot of other signs that I saw. And the diagnosis was confirmed. When the signs are obvious, you don't give three rounds of antibiotics, that's stupid and that happens only in US (I live in Europe). But I'm DDS , Maxilo-Facial Surgeon and you are just a medical student. Hopefully you will study enough to be able to see those signs and symptoms and make a correct diagnosis IN TIME FOR THE PACIENT TO START TREATMENT, NOT AFTER TONES OF UNNECESSARY PILLS. You are a long way, I can tell you that. In this case, the diagnosis was obvious: it could have been Non-hodgkin's or lymphoblastic leukaemia (only the histopatologycal examination is accurate), but it was a blood/lymph cancer. She had enlarged lymph nodes in level 5 region of the neck, for God's sake!!!!!! In my country we biopsy all lymph nodes in superior neck levels. Do you study that at your country's medical school, student??????
Hi. Thank you for your video. I had a cough for 3 months, fatigue, anemia, night sweats, fever, loss of appetite & weight. I worked with my physician, a pulmonologist (he checked my lungs, gave me an inhaler, he checked for all types of allergies & did 3 asthma tests) & a gastroenterologist (I had a colonoscopy & endoscopy & they concluded I had gastritis. I actually did). They kept ordering blood work & tests & I really am grateful for investigative efforts. I just wasnt getting better. Finally, I walked into my physician’s office just for a follow up. I didnt know I even had a fever (at this point it was normal). She tilted her head & looked at me & asked, “how are you feeling?). I just kind of chuckled & said, “not better”. She was concerned that I was still getting fevers & my hemoglobin levels were still declining even though I had started to incorporate more iron into my diet & taking iron supplements. “I’m going to order a ct scan”. This was about 1 month from the day I came to see her & presented with my symptoms. So even though this had been dragging on for me, I really did think it was some stupid virus. When she said the words “ct scan”, it was a little alarming, however, all tests & procedures I had were coming up negative so I just kind blew it off & said ok, of course I’ll go. 6 days later I had my ct scan. 2 hrs later I got the call & heard the words “lymphoma”. I didnt hear anything after that. An hour later someone called me to schedule a biopsy & an hour after that, I met my oncologist. This was just 5 days ago. I had my biopsy 3 days ago & am waiting for the follow up with my doctor. This has hit us like a ton of bricks. I never get sick. But, cancer does not discriminate. Im dealing with this now. I will pray that you stay in remission. We will get through this. 👊🏼
Staying strong as always 💖💖 this video makes me feel a lot of things and I just know you're gonna kick cancers ass!! The fight is not over, keep pushing gorgeous!!!
you're a badass, you're going to beat cancer! Believe it and it will be true! My brother had the same cancer as you and he is fine now he's in his fifties he was right around your age my brother Frank and he still doing great
Ya these people’s heart gets in the way of common sense. They think, we’ll someone should pay, as long as its not them. That’s when the government comes to the rescue. 50 years later you are wondering how you can get rid of a communist government.
The way I found out was when I went to my doctor to go on birth control and my nurse noticed the lump on my neck... that same day got an x-ray, next day blood test and biopsy. 2 days later was diagnosed ... 1 week later started my journey. Now I have been in remission for 6 years .
Remembering the Villedas SAHM Your comment has also inspired me to get a second opinion ! This depression and doctors saying it’s nothing is worry-some. Thank you !
Hi Ally, I hope you are doing well. Thank you for sharing your story, it resonates with me as I started my own journey with lymphoma 20 years ago when I was 19. I am now an emergency medicine physician and medical school professor who would like to share your story with my class as I believe your words will inspirational and instructional for my young medical students. Stay strong.
Ran across your video. My husband was treated for Hodgkins disease 37 years ago, at same stage you were diagnosed. He received radiation treatments from his jawline to mid-chest. Sadly, he passed away just 6 months ago due to radiation heart disease from the treatments. Today treatments are better and they know how to avoid the heart getting hit with radiation. Nonetheless, his treatment at the time still gave us many precious years together and two children we might not otherwise have had, so I'm greatful. I do hope you are doing well now and that you have many, many more years of life ahead of you!
For you to share your cancer journey with us is so courageous. I really thank you 🙏🏾! It’s giving fighters such as myself the strength to do the very same thing and know that it’s okay to share and not be afraid of anything. Your strength and determination is something I find endearing and comforting. You will continually be in my prayers!!!!!!
This is the second video in a row that has talked about insurance or money issues when it comes to medical care...that breaks my heart!! As a Canadian, I have NEVER had to have that worry. I am worried that I have Hodgkins Lymphoma as well, my doctor is sending me for an ultrasound of my swollen lymph node above my left collarbone. I just hate hearing that being able to afford medical care is something that people have to worry about. :(
It’s sadly true, however my son was able to have his treatment covered by Medicaid but unfortunately we know what conventional treatments do to the body. Alternative medicine does have some inexpensive options but with time does add up.
America is worried that the wait in the hospital would be crazy and docs/nurses/ techs/etc would be overworked if they go Canada's route. So...how's that doin in Canada? Or your hospital(s)? I was thinking about this last night- the only people who should get paid a lot of money are surgeons since they do actual work to save lives- doctors only diagnose and give treatment orders. I could study diseases and call out a diagnosis (which many docs don't even get right anyway) if I got a book on medical issues to read-the pay for docs is stupid. Don't really think America would have any problem lowering the costs of healthcare IF they could fix the whole 'wait/ overstaffing' fears. Another money grabber is lab tests which I understand since it costs a lot to get the tools for testing, but if people spent money on lab tests instead of flying to the f*ing moon or building useless robotics that do not help anyone(it's surprising how many of those exist), that wouldn't be an issue. We wouldn't even need to go a socialist route like Canada's done(have the gov't pay it all) if morons stopped spending for dumb ass crap in the science department. Seriously, A.I. like Alexa are useless and for a bunch of lazy people who can't write down for memory anymore.
Soon2bTLC I wonder how is she paying for the treatment? She said her aunt would pay for initial appointment but no way can most people pay more than that..
Katrina JAy True, my son is done with treatment but no way is it over after treatment. We have no idea how we’re going to do this but we are determined to do whatever it takes to stop this from ever coming back.
Thank you for sharing your story, I’m going through the diagnosis process and have my biopsy scheduled soon + a pet scan per my oncologist after getting all my chest X-rays, blood work, CT scans etc. This video is really helpful and cathartic ❤ I hope you are doing wonderfully
Me too....I found a lump above my collar bone 3 weeks ago, horrible cough for two months, also nausea and no energy, guess I'll find out next week, after my cat scan results, I'm really scared though.
Its so great to have people like this share their story. The mayo clinic does not help but people like her on RUclips help by sharing their true symptoms
I realize this was five years ago, but thank you for your video. It looks like you are doing well. I am grateful for that. (stalked your fb page) I visit Houston several times a year to see family.
Hi Ally, I just found your video regarding how your cancer was diagnosed. I am so sorry to hear. I also just read that the cancer is in remission and that is such great news! I will continue 2 pray for you. And your grandma too. Keep all of us informed. Ally, you have a groovy day. Take care, Pat
Dude you are such a badass. I love how in the wake of something terrifying you are choosing to remain happy and positive. Freaking out about shit does nothing but ruin your day.
@@douglasmelendez1796 ... it's a figure of speech. We are well aware that she's a female... But in badassery terms.... she is being acknowledged as dude
When you said "Soo do you have doctor money? Because I don't" I felt that with my whole soul. I say that to my mom every week. Now I have a lump under my arm though, and with everything else feeling like it's falling apart and leukemia and breast cancer running in my family I think I'll just go and figure out the money part later.
Nediva Yahudah Im sorry I just saw your reply. It’s definitely one of the best children’s hospitals. They saved my best friend with his heart condition, and treated my family so well during our time of need with my sisters passing (they tried everything they could for the time). I hope your daughter is doing better!
It broke my heart to hear her say she had no money to see a doctor! That was my life as a young working female-- for years. And that is flat out WRONG. Healthcare should not be for only those who can "afford" it!
Hey! I have been quite worried recently because I have had a constant swollen lymph node for 3 years and many of the symptoms and risk factors (down to the specific meds I am on) of non-hodgkins lymphoma. I asked my doctor about it once and she said that it was probably because I was sick (ironically with a symptom). I haven't followed it up yet because I thought that I was being stupid thinking that I might have cancer and getting anxiety over nothing but I am going to see my new doctor to talk about it as soon as I get home. Thanks for posting this video because it has made me feel like I am not being ridiculous asking about it, even if it turns out that I don't have lymphoma. So happy to hear that everything is going well for you, wishing you the best :)
I also had a constant lymph node enlarged for many many years. It never grew just stayed that irregular size. However I got it "checked" and apparently it was benign. I never got sick or severe symptoms so I'm trusting what they told me. Also I did some hardcore digging myself because I was worried sick, and by the looks of it. The photo of the inside of my "tumor" seemed to look benign so I also calmed my nerves with my own knowledge.
Do you know you are a Warrior? Thank you so much for this message. I didn't go to the doctor and I had stage 4 colon cancer. I'm a Warrior too. That was four and a half years ago. Hopefully we will scare away cancer from now on. Good luck and never give up Hope.
It is scary having a biopsy and waiting for the results. I have another illness which gives you a higher chance of lymphoma, no one knows why. I did ask for a local as I had no one to drive me home. Most of the time my ENT was talking about how he had to get the Christmas party entertainment that year. I spent most of the time giggling. I had to keep turning my as the node would pop out and then go in again. Mt doctor said at the time that it wasn't cancer. I get nervous about feeling like I have a lymph node swelling as I see in my mind all the literature about much of a higher risk you are for lymphoma. I am so glad that you put about not having all the symptoms described in literature you can find. People can look at that and tell themselves well I don't have those symptoms so I must be okay. Texas also has MD Anderson so you really have a great source of help. I would ask at the hospital to speak with a social worker to see if they can help you out with paying for your care. They have sources and information that the regular doctors and nurses don't. I have ACA so I have to be very careful about which doctors I go to. I hope everything goes well for you, it now has such a higher success rate than before.
lesley smith Certainly she and I had the same situation except th as that I got a fever then my biopsy, bad need tgT felt like death and everyone treated me that way. My boss and everyone wanted to know what was wrong and she starts crying into hysterics. Long journey in chemo. First two surgeries..the port was word hurt like helll..ugh. but I'm almost done, despite chemo killin me. Right now looking at this video I want to sell my flea bag useless dog and take this girl's awesome cat to keep me company besides my 24 year old parrot. :D But cancer us scary as jell. I was l.j ese upset tywin everyone around me. But wgen6tgey get upset. I'd get upset. No insurance also is a NIGHTMARE OF DEBT. Thank goodness f pi r charity care. Everything esp labs and surgery are in the 3,000, 40000 percentile and there are the treatments, following ups...so on..I need to get my lazy but insurance _my job doesn't have health insurance..stupud...
I hope you are feeling okay but it sounds like you have been to hell and back. Insurance is a pain, I don't know what I would do without ACA, though you don't have the insurance negotiated rates so you have to pay full. I am not sure how much I owe but it is a lot. The trouble is it is not like a cold where you have it and goes away, it is continual for the rest of your lives. I don't think people always realize that and are pleased you are doing well and think that's the end of it. Then some insurances don't cover preexisting conditions, I met a lady once who had a Downs baby and she had to fight her insurance company to cover him. I didn't know parrots lived that long ! I hope things work out for you, good luck.
Ugh... doctors that carelessly misdiagnose are really getting to me. More than one story on RUclips telling these stories. Happy to hear you are doing well.
Thanks so much for ur video…I love that the kitty sounds, this helped me for I have had the same dismissal and 16 different doctors that I keep going in circles, on my way to the ER now, have had golf ball size lymph nodes many places, but I’m going in now because of this pericing pain 😊I wish notching but the best for you
It sucks that you guys have to think about money when visiting doctors.. the best economy in the world but if only you could have state covered health insurance. Good luck Ally, HL can be cured pretty well and you will go through this and this all will remain in your life just as a distant memory.. get well soon
Karol Kozak ....we don't want government healthcare. We are a free nation and don't want government in our business. Healthcare is a privilege, not a right. You work, you pay for healthcare. That way the government can't tell you what treatments you can and can't have. Less government, better life.
@@darlalansford9576 Seriously? Here is a young girl telling you that she went in late because she is not insured and only went because her grandma pushed her and she ends the video with telling you that if she went even later that might have been the difference between life and death. Less government, better life? Not for her! You are a Monster.
Dieter F...I’m a monster because I don’t want the government telling me how to take care of myself?? You’re the monster for wanting socialism/communism. On top of that you’re an idiot.
Thank you so much for posting this video and your other one. After two months of doctors appointments and 3 bone biopsy's later we discovered my boyfriend has lymphoma in his right tibia bone. We have our first consultation with an oncologist on Monday to see what stage and what we do next. Please keep doing this videos i love the Q & A video because it is preparing us for what is to come very soon.
Hi Breanna, I was diagnosed with lymphoma in my left tibia 20 years ago and remain cancer free after treatment. I'm sending positive thoughts and wishes for your boyfriend and all those who love and support him. Stay strong.
Wow! That's crazy! I thought that the bone biopsy is the way to diagnose... why did it take 3? That's terrifying to hear as my doctor keeps saying she's concerned I have "blood cancer" and I'm over here waiting forever for the specialist appointments.
You’re a precision young woman. Thank you so much for having the courage and concern to share your story. It will help a lot of people. God bless you my sweetheart. ❤
Thanks for sharing. it is important to get people to go in and get things checked by professionals. I'm glad you did not wait to long, and glad you found out early. God Bless Beat Navy
God bless you, brought me to tears hearing how strong you are❤️ I truly you you have healed and are making a full recovery🙏🏼 I’ve been very unwell for over 5 months now and haven’t been diagnosed properly, they just keep telling me it’s been a virus and it’s really taken it out of me but I feel in my heart of hearts there is something wrong with me that’s being over looked and it’s giving me the strength to ask my doctor to go more tests on me to find out what’s happening to me, in 26 and have a 2year old son and I’m terrified of not being here for him. God bless you beautiful girl I will pray for you❤️❤️❤️
I found this video b/c a family member is being tested. First of all: thank you for being SO BRAVE to make this video to help others. Wow. You are clearly a strong woman, and I hope your strength carries you through this process. Best wishes for your recovery.
I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia a year ago😢and haven't been the same ever since i miss the old me now all i do is worry about my health.
The whole I can’t go to the doctor because of money, even when a biopsy was suggested shows how the USA needs a universal healthcare system. So, glad from your update that you are in remission. I had a lousy bladder infection and my two appointments to my doctor, blood work and urine tests were all covered because I live in Canada. Not saying Canadian doctors can’t be dismissive or misdiagnosis but at least I don’t hesitate going to the doctor because of a money issue. Every year my doctor calls me to do a blood work and every two or three years ladies, a pap is recommended. All covered. Preventative and early diagnosis is key.
4 years ago I was diagnosed with LYMPHOMA and I have tried everything I could to get rid of this , but it was all to no avail, until I saw a post on a health forum about an herbalist preparing herbal medicines to cure everything type of diseases. including LYMPHOMA , at first I doubted it was real, but decided to give it a try, when I contacted this herbalist through his email and he prepared me a herbal cure for LYMPHOMA and sent it to me via the delivery service of UPS from the company, when I received this herbal cure. , gave me step by step instructions on how to apply it, when I applied it according to the instructions I was totally cured of this deadly disease within 2 months of use, I am now totally free from LYMPHOMA , all thanks to Dr. Joshua Ighalo for helping me with my situation. You can also contact this great herbalist for help by email: drjoshua.ighalo@gmail.com or contact Dr. through his whats-app: +2349057958723. They also specialize in the treatment of all kinds of diseases, VIRUS HERPES , HEPATITIS B, CANCER, BRAIN DISEASE, INFERTILITY, DIABETES AND MORE.
Hi Ally! I found your video whilst looking for comfort for what our family is currently going through. My mom had just been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. She's just 57yrs old and I've never been more scared than ever. Thank you for keeping this channel with updates. I have subscribed and will continue following your progress.
The worst is when doctors never think there's something wrong. Etc. Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope you're well. I don't speak English so good. Sorry. Blessings
LillyRocks desde el planeta Tierra. Doctors are not oncologists and don’t see patients with cancer very often. They don’t know what to look out for or how to treat it. They look for immune diseases. Chronic diseases and acute infections. Period.
Lol where are you getting no healthcare? NOBODY in America goes without healthcare. Doctors deserve to get paid just like everybody else does and we have the BEST healthcare in the world and people from both of your countries come here constantly to get healthcare from our doctors.
@@dragoncult666 FALSE. They don't get paid nearly the amount US doctors get and it's not even close to enough for the amount of responsibility these physicians take on. Doctors in the UK make laughable amounts of money. Like between $50k-$100k . You want gov run healthcare? Look at the VA's in America. They run horribly and doctors at VAs are underpaid. Affordability and quantity (universal healthcare) means you are not getting quality. Doctors have less of an incentive to work, often times, they don't have all the equipment necessary to do their jobs and because of these two things, quality suffers.
My 22 year old son is battling non-hodgkins lymphoma...he had ALL the classic symptoms yet it took over a year and half to get diagnosed...I am livid to say the least.....I am devastated.....he just had a second course of chemo...please pray for him
Thankyou for being brave and sharing your story. I'm full of tumor's but nobody seems to want to biopsy them, they hurt so bad they keep me up all night. It's 3 am in St. Louis and I cannot sleep yet again. I'm terrified but you give me strength
Alyssa I wish you the best and pray for your swift recovery. With all do respect to you and your family I have to say you are an absolutely beautiful woman
You are so nice to think of others and have such a great attitude. My granddaughter was diagnosed with rabdo one week before her 6th birthday. She had surgery to remove it but it was fast growing and there was a small part that was attached to her optic nerve that they could not get. She went through chemo and radiation. She is now 5yrs cancer free PRAISE GOD. She was a real inspiration the whole time she was going through all of that. I pray that all of this is behind you soon never to return. God's blessings and love to you.
Some helpful education on lymphoma. First let me say I sympathize as I do with all patients young and old 1. Lymphoma has 2 types and one is very common and the other is 93-97% rare 2. Lymphoma is mostly diagnosed between ages 15-29 years old in one group and 35-50 in others. 3. Most survivable form of cancer besides skin cancer 4, type A, means symptoms shown. Type B. Means no symptoms prior to diagnosis 5. Lymphoma can make you have an itchy back or itchy legs that won’t stop, beyond night sweats, it is usually a very pronounced lymph node enlargement. It won’t look or feel like a Lima bean or a small pea. Think about a golf ball sized lump that doesn’t hurt or ache. 6. Only definitive way to conclude lymphoma is with a total biopsy of the enlarged node. 7. This girl was sick for 2 months which is extremely rare for someone her age. That is a tell tale sign that an autoimmune disease or worse is evident. If you are sick after 2-3 weeks, go get checked immediately. Don’t concern yourself with a 101.3 fever that lasts 2-3 days. Concern yourself with aches and pain that lingers on. Best regards, Alex
I have lump under left armpit more than 1 year. Probably around 1 inch. I don't have any other symptoms or not feeling tired. Should I go through biopsy?
Thank you Ally! Your video meant a great deal to me, and certainly has made me feel much better. This is my story: I began coughing up a small quantity of blood about a month ago, and thinking it was bronchitis my primary care physician put me on a five day course of Zithromax, which had no effect and the coughing continued. To make a long story short, this was followed by a chest xray, a CAT scan and finally a PET scan which flashed on lymph nodes located on my underarm, neck, chest and the back of my head. I’m going for my needle biopsy of the axillary lymph node on Monday. At this stage of the game no one wants to hazard a guess but the money seems to be on Lymphoma! I just wanted to say thank you so much for making this video, it was very informative and very helpful! Many blessings and the very best of luck in fighting this!
Juan Dela Cruz I suggest the same, it’s too bad that insurance doesn’t cover for that. It can get very pricey as we are currently going through the same thing and have had to set up a gofund me for our 11 yr old son who was diagnosed with cancer this past October. Best of luck to both of these ladies.
Ally, not only has God gotten me through a stroke 3 years ago, my lymphoma cancer last October, but I got a blood bacteria after my 1st round of chemo too. God has been with me through all of it. I am alive today only by the grace of God. Any one of the 3 things I've gone through could have killed me. But only God gets the honor of saving my life.
Not all doctors got A grades. Trust your gut. Sadly, it's hard to get a second opinion when you don't have insurance or money. Americans need to wake up that health care is a right and not a privileged for a select few. BTW - I'm part of the select few, but I grew up poor. I know what it's like to depend on free clinics & sucking it up.
I really like your positive attitude to all this, I'm sure many people would be devastated and so emotional but you kept your cool! I really hope you get better soon I am praying for you, you will make it through this somehow I just know you will but good luck anyway :)
Omg, I had a very bad cold 4 weeks ago & it went away but my coughing us still on & off. I don't feel much energy too but last year I have a walnut size of lymph on my mid back, more to my left side and my doctor said it's not cancer, it's just a lymph nodes. I had ultrasound, MRI and they said it's normal but I'm just so terrifying & so anxious and I don't peace after that. Please pray for me. I was really sick when I was younger & in hospital for months. I don't want to get sick. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I have been going through medical neglect I can't get anyone to take me seriously. My lymph node got so swollen then it exploded out of me and now iam in more pain . And I have been feeling worse and worse and can't get anyone to take me seriously I have seen multiple Dr's and no one will help. I seriously don't know what to do
Thank you for posting the video, you are so brave. GOD bless you, praying for you. What did the doctor with the soft voice do different that knew that you had lymphoma...
you are awesome. I hope you are doing great. I had pericoronitis ( wisdom tooth got through gum and infected it) and felt 2 small lymphnodes under jaw near tooth plus another on other side of jaw thats pea size and all are movable. Doctor gave me antibiotic for 10 days. I just got the tooth removed and on day 7 on antibiotic. I dont have any symptom and havent been sick in years but i do have this weird mild itch near night time that bothers me on legs, arms so im worried now and will go to ENT or something to get an xray asap just in case. Awesome video though. I wish you best of luck
Sweetheart you are a brave soul, but don't give up. Change your diet, change the products you use on your skin and start rebounding. All these diseases are telling you is your organs are toxic and your lymph system needs to be cleaned up. I would go natural and help your body get healthy and your body will do amazing things. I was sick for over 2 years and had auto-immune for 9 years....terrible pain. I coughed for 2 years like I had lung problems....kept getting worse. My lymph nodes were always swollen near my neck and my groin area and it would go away, then come back. Well, I decided to change my diet, remove all the chemicals in my home, use essential oils, get rid of stressful people, juice, go plant based, do coffee enemas, go to bed by 10 and rebound. Here it is, almost 3 years later and I'm a totally different woman. I knocked my pain out in less than 7 days when I began detoxing and now.....I just live this way and I love it! Your body can heal itself.....all you have to do is give it a healthy environment and it will do it. God bless!
You’re really saying that essential oils will heal cancer, something that millions of people die from. Doctors must be so stupid! Just buy a bottle of oil and eats some lettuce :) who needs chemotherapy ! On a more serious note, eating healthy and being less stressed will absolutely help; but only eating healthy and being less stressed will NOT cure you. If you do have health issues, please see a medical professional and do not get brain washed my MLMs trying to sell you products that will not help.
Cancer is a mutation of the cells. Lymph nodes will likely swell if u have an illness or you have a hormonal imbalance. So by changing your diet you most likely shifted the hormonal imbalance so therefore your lymph nodes stopped swelling. Unfortunately she has mutated cells that will continue to replicate. Changing her diet won’t cure her cancer. The mutation is already in effect. Living a healthy life style will always cure the side effects of an unbalanced live style but mutated cells can not be cure by changing these things. The best that can be done is to stop the cells from reproducing or removing the mutated cells. I’m a high school student taking AP biology and I know these things I really hope that we can educate ourselves before advising people in circumstances that are completely unrelated.
I live in Sugarland and Texas Children's is the best hospital! My daughter and son have both been treated there for different reasons. You are so blessed to live where the best medical center in the country if not the world is! I hope you feel stronger and beat the heck out of this cancer! I'm rooting for you! May God bless you BIG! ✌️🏻❤️😘
This is exactly what happened with me! I have Hodgkins 2A (chemo 3/8 so far!) in the supraclavicular area and chest also and exhibited no B symptoms what so ever i don't even remember having a cold. I had lymph nodes swollen in the neck and was telling myself it was from incorrect form at the gym. If it wasn't for my mum pressing me to get it checked out I know I would have just left it.
I’ve been having the exact same thing, I’ve had all these symptoms such as vomiting, night sweats, extreme abdominal pain, cough, dizziness, loss of appetite, and I haven’t lost weight, In fact I’ve gained a lot of weight over the past few month. I’ve been too so many doctors and they keep saying that I have inflammation in my body and the results are high. We haven’t got many results and I’ve been dealing with this for 12 weeks now... my family has a history of non- Hodgkin lymphoma, and every doctor has said that it is NOT cancer, but I feel it could be.
Hey guys! Just a quick update: I am alive and 10 months in remission ♥️♥️ thank you so much for your comments and support, I can’t explain how much it means to me. I’ve posted a few updates on my channel if y’all wanna check em out ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for the update. So pleased your okay. Well done x
Ally Lauri yay! Woot woot 10 month remission.🎉
I’m so happy you’re doing well ❤️
Great news, great vid, all the best
I still have not received any help. I'm gonna die n not a single Doctor cares. I'm still trying to pay bills from a year ago. Hopeless. My husband left Me after 25 year's and I have no one. No family, no friends.
When I was 15 I was diagnosed with stage 4 hodgekins lymphoma. By the grace of God I'll be 50 next year.
So pleased your ok. 🙏
What symtoms did you have?
ქართული ძალა My niece had lymphoma sadly she died 3 years ago. But, she had a very bad cough and itching. Stage four when it was diagnosed. They were her symptoms. Also she had fluid on her lungs that had to be drained.
My symptoms were shortness of breath, weight loss & I also had to have fluid drained off my lungs.
Stay strong and God bless.
my grandpa had a lump under his arm too and he has lymphoma rn. im so scared for him
They knew about cancer back then???
I have them exact symptoms, I have a lump under my right arm and all of a sudden I started getting dizzy, getting nausea and my stomach hurts quite bad all the time :(

Amazing story!
Middle aged women get the same treatment.
SouthCalifas619 they disregard even when you’re not young
Anyone else sick of the doctors favorite diagnosis “stress”
well said, its the pretense for their ignorance.
Or their other favorite "anxiety" ...
It’s so belittling
so true, my hair has been faling oit for years now, and i get the same excuse each time, "stress" 😭😭
My friend was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer at age 48. 5 years later & she's still cancer free.
Thank God for you Grandma!
As a Canadian, when I hear someone say, "I don't have doctor money", my heart breaks. We just seriously go to a doctor whenever we damn well need to. I'm glad you were able to be diagnosed and I'm sorry that anyone has to decide to get medical care or not based on money. Be well!
That's not what my friends in Canada say. They come to NY or FL for medical care because the wait times are so long there.
Anyone that can’t afford can go indigent or reduced pay .
I just finished chemo in April 11 for stage 4 hodgkins stay strong beautiful

EVIL UBUNTU knowbody asked you to watch these Vlogs. This young lady is trying to help others.
I hope everyone battling lymphoma is doing alright!!

you're a badass, you're going to beat cancer! Believe it and it will be true! My brother had the same cancer as you and he is fine now he's in his fifties he was right around your age my brother Frank and he still doing great
No one showing such symptoms should have to pay for a biopsy :(
Shanez Veganess™ purdy
So those doing biopsies should work for free? That being said there are plenty of programs if you can’t pay .
Thank you !
So happy you received top notch attention from the medical field... what country do you live in?
I wish you a speedy recovery and long life my dear ,you are young and courageous ,much love and blessings.
Stay strong.
smileyfly810 thank you! And feel free to
Great idea!
yes, money really matters, sad but true. :(
It’s sadly true, however my son was able to have his treatment covered by Medicaid but unfortunately we know what conventional treatments do to the body.
Soon2bTLC
I wonder how is she paying for the treatment?

Texas Children’s is the best! Literally so blessed to be nearby.
Are they better than Cook Children's in Fort Worth? I'm thinking about taking my daughter there because we still have no resolution for her.
In your opinion, who should pay for healthcare?
Hola soy survivor de lymphoma hodgkin's 2014 free cancer thank a god

Certainly she and I had the same situation except th as that I got a fever then my biopsy, bad need tgT felt like death and everyone treated me that way.
But cancer us scary as jell.

How was the appointment?
Wow! That's crazy! I thought that the bone biopsy is the way to diagnose... why did it take 3? That's terrifying to hear as my doctor keeps saying she's concerned I have "blood cancer" and I'm over here waiting forever for the specialist appointments.

@Lana Joy thank you so much Lana Joy, this means allot😊. Love your name!
You're such a brave woman, I really admire your attitude. I pray for complete healing for you.
You did a great video and thank you!!

Period.
@@acgmedical9129 they still have a pretty good understanding about cancer
i hope you get better and the rest of the people experiencing the same situation as you! I’m loving the Netflix screen saver!. God bless!
Oh my, life in the US...no healthcare...what a nightmare. Wishing you well and blessings from Thailand
US sucks. In Romania all medical treatments is free....
Lol where are you getting no healthcare? NOBODY in America goes without healthcare. Doctors deserve to get paid just like everybody else does and we have the BEST healthcare in the world and people from both of your countries come here constantly to get healthcare from our doctors.
@@Kymv8382Countries with universal healthcare pay their doctors well. It's not pro bono!
@@Kymv8382 37th best actually...also, good luck surviving with the load of debt you get from going to the doctors without insurance.
My 22 year old son is battling non-hodgkins lymphoma...he had ALL the classic symptoms yet it took over a year and half to get diagnosed...I am livid to say the least.....I am devastated.....he just had a second course of chemo...please pray for him
Omg...im so sorry. I hope he gets the care he needs and deserves. Best wishes, sweetie.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for having the courage to share and help others.
Thankyou for being brave and sharing your story. I'm full of tumor's but nobody seems to want to biopsy them, they hurt so bad they keep me up all night. It's 3 am in St. Louis and I cannot sleep yet again. I'm terrified but you give me strength
U r so positive...I m u r well by now.And ur cat must have kept u happy all these difficult times
Alyssa I wish you the best and pray for your swift recovery. With all do respect to you and your family I have to say you are an absolutely beautiful woman
Such a strong positive person. God bless you and heal you soon.❤️
Great video. You have an easy-going personality and I’m sure you have helped many people. Glad you are doing well!
"Pay for the doctor" ... makes me shiver 💔
First let me say I sympathize as I do with all patients young and old
1. Lymphoma has 2 types and one is very common and the other is 93-97% rare
2. Lymphoma is mostly diagnosed between ages 15-29 years old in one group and 35-50 in others.
3. Most survivable form of cancer besides skin cancer
4, type A, means symptoms shown. Type B. Means no symptoms prior to diagnosis
Best regards,
Alex
I have lump under left armpit more than 1 year. Probably around 1 inch. I don't have any other symptoms or not feeling tired. Should I go through biopsy?
Stay strong! May God help you to overcome this. Don't give up. Best of luck!!!
Thanks for your videos and the way you smile 😁 its life-changing even... Get well soon.
Wonderful video! You are so relatable , likable and informative.
Thanks so much.
Oh! By the way...... loved the pet cameos!
Many blessings and the very best of luck in fighting this!
be strong and fight that sickness, look for some alternative pls give me an update on what happened? wising you to be ok soon
Hi how are you doing? I’m sorry I’m just now seeing this!
Thank you for sharing your testimony and for helping others pinpoint what's going on (or not going on) with your body!!!!
♡♡♡
Great video hope you are feeling better and on the road to recovery xx
My brother in law had brain Cancer and he too saw a whole bunch of New Cancer doctors that he was very overwhelmed. May he RIP
Could you feel the swollen lymph nodes? Or did you find out about them from the CT??
How are you? Thank you for sharing your story. ❤
God bless you and your fight you will be in remission 🙏
I have been going through medical neglect I can't get anyone to take me seriously. My lymph node got so swollen then it exploded out of me and now iam in more pain . And I have been feeling worse and worse and can't get anyone to take me seriously I have seen multiple Dr's and no one will help. I seriously don't know what to do
Thank you for posting the video, you are so brave. GOD bless you, praying for you. What did the doctor with the soft voice do different that knew that you had lymphoma...
Stay positive man, needs a lot of strength to do this..thank you.
you are awesome.
Bless you, friend! I wish you the best.
I had that pain that travels through back to chest. Hella scurred lol. But my lymph nodes aren’t large or swollen. I hope you’re still doing good
Sending prayers your way! Stay strong! 🤗
Thank you so much for taking out the time to make this video.
You have a beautiful spirit! I hope you are doing well!
You are beautiful and brave!!! Thank you for sharing your story!!
Hi Ally, thanks for your advice. I really hope that things are improving for you. Everything you said was really helpful. Thanks so much 💗💕
I live in Sugarland and Texas Children's is the best hospital!
U ok ??
I’ve been having the exact same thing, I’ve had all these symptoms such as vomiting, night sweats, extreme abdominal pain, cough, dizziness, loss of appetite, and I haven’t lost weight, In fact I’ve gained a lot of weight over the past few month. I’ve been too so many doctors and they keep saying that I have inflammation in my body and the results are high. We haven’t got many results and I’ve been dealing with this for 12 weeks now... my family has a history of non- Hodgkin lymphoma, and every doctor has said that it is NOT cancer, but I feel it could be.
Very nice video I apreciate what you do and I think with all my heart that you will be fine❤
Your totally awesome.... and strong, and brave! May you be blessed with continued good health....and awesomeness❤️
And never smoke....
