I have been super sick with some mysterious illness that started in 2015. It all started with this extreme fatigue. Then I noticed swollen lymph node on left side of my neck that didn't go away for 3 years. I got hit with crazy symptoms, intense dizziness, lightheaded, intense nausea, shortness of breath, full body tremors, confusion, slurring my speech, loss of memory, vision problems, hearing problems, unexplained fever day and night for 2 years, night sweats, my hair was falling out, skin rashes, itchy skin all over,, physically too weak to stand up, bloody diarrhea, lost 30lbs, pale face, stroke like symptoms, Lupus like symptoms... the list goes on. I went to see doctors and specialist all over the Bay Area. I felt like no e of them listened to me and never got a diagnosis. It got so bad I couldn't work, or take care of myself. I would sleep for six to seven days straight. I was more scared than words can express that I wouldn't wake up everytime I fell asleep. After 2 years of bedrest, most of my symptoms went away. That was in late 2019. This whole time, the extreme fatigue has never left. About 8 months ago, I started having intense pains in my ovaries, and would bleed for 3 weeks out of every month. I was diagnosed with Foicular Ovarian cysts. About the same time the glands in my left armpit and left breast started getting swollen. They glands/lymph nodes themselves are not painful, but I am having extreme sharp burning pains are the areas. I also have this crazy itch all over my arms and legs at night when I am trying g to sleep. I feel run down, muscles and joints, ache, more than normal back pain. Still to this day, I don't have a diagnosis. What do I do or say to get the doctors to listen or help me?

I was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma three and a half years ago. I didn’t have any symptoms. I had a “routine” MRI that showed swollen lymph nodes in my intestines. Then a colonoscopy confirmed the diagnosis. The gastroenterologist was surprised because he never had an MCL patient before and he had a long practice. Well, if I had not gone to the GI doctor, I suppose things would have gotten worse to the point I was passing out or whatever. I’m in complete remission now.

What was your itching like? I got a full body rash overnight with intense itching for a few month all over my body, even now I get an itchy flush feeling through my body sometimes, and the hairs on my arms are constantly standing up with my skin having a goosebump texture. Doctors say Eczema but around the time it all started I noticed a small lymph node on my neck and my ESR rate was up on blood tests but they think it was just a random allergic response and the node looks fine ultrasounded. Like you mention though I feel quite fatigued, itchy, and just generally drained, I also had the night sweats you speak of a while back, but have not had those for a while. Did your symptoms ever come and go or just consistently get worse?

A month ago I was driving home from work and I felt a lump on my neck, on me left side, just behind my ear. I completely forgot about it cause it was really late at night and I got home showered and fell asleep. Two weeks ago it was my mother’s birthday and I drank alcohol, not a lot but more than usual and I got a sharp pain in my jaw, it felt like a tingling sensation but then it progressed into a really excruciating pain, no one was taking me seriously at first but after half an hour I started getting worried and then my parents took me seriously, cause I started crying and we assumed it was just a panic attack. Then the day after I was watching tv and for some reason touched my neck and felt the bump again, but bigger. Told my sister she said it was probably an infection and that it would go away but I did research and now I’m here. I’m tired ALL the time, I just assumed it’s cause I have two jobs + study full time. I get constant chest pain but I always assume it’s anxiety and after crying for a while they go away. But once I felt chest pains on my left area and when I moved it felt like I was being stabbed, which is concerning but I don’t like telling people when I fell bad or sick. Lately I’ve been getting so many migraines and I feel like my brain is literally palpitating sometimes. And the other day I drank again and my jaw started hurting again. The lump in my neck is going away which is a relief, but what if comes back? Why do I have all this alarming symptoms? I doubt I will go to the doctor cause no one takes me seriously, but I truly hope I don’t have lymphoma.

I watched and commented on your first symptom video because I had several of the symptoms plus lumps along my right clavicle. It’s now several months later, both clavicles are covered in lumps/tumors that have converged in the middle, and now I cannot speak above a whisper. The Drs charged over $10,000 (my part of the insurance) for scans, which happened to be all the money I had. The only thing they would scan? My shoulders... none of my sternum where the lumps/tumors were now very noticeable, or my neck; which is twice to three times the size it normally is. All this to be told: They don’t know what’s wrong 😆.
Yet my lymph nodes from my head to my groin have been swollen forever, I can’t breathe very well, and my voice has been hoarse and rough for over 2 weeks. Not to mention my daughter has to help me walk so I don’t fall flat on my face. But it’s ok, I decided to just let it be; I mean why keep stressing?
Sheesh, those Drs were causing more stress than whatever I’ve got 😂. And stress makes it WORSE! Even though I don’t know what is wrong with me, and I don’t know how much longer I’ll be around I wanted to leave you a little message. I just wanted to tell you; Thank you ♥️, I changed the way I ate because of you, and even though I’m still sick and barely eat; I can tell a difference. Plus, my children even started eating better 👏🏻😘. That in itself is totally amazing! I didn’t mean to write a novel 😆, so again Thank you; I pray have an awesome day/night...

One question please 🙏 I've been getting some weird symptoms for 2 or 3 years now. Did any of your symptoms subside over time, or were they present constantly?
I had severe itching for no apparent reason a few years ago, but they gradually finally subsided (still get occasional strong itchiness on my stomach and chest area). I also used to wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat, but that also stopped some time ago (so I thought it may have been stress related). I've had other weird symptoms I never used to have before. But I started feeling more at ease ever since they've subbsided. So I'm really interested whether the symptoms are constant or can they go away? Thank you. And all the best to you

What was everyone’s MPV blood test? Mine is 14.0 and that is on the high side. I have many of the symptoms but no itching, and no fever. My white blood Platelets are producing more from the bone marrow. My father and grandmother have died from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Last August my large intestines burst and I had emergency surgery. Today Feb. 2021, I’m still very ill from nausea, Fatigue, Large Lymph node right side of neck and night sweats. My GP and surgeon has said nothing about my blood work. They said everything else looks normal. But the normal ranges are on the high side or the low side of what it should be. I need to have another surgery this month to reconnect me back. I also have a large Parastomal hernia underneath my stoma that needs to be repaired. I’m just giving out more info about my condition, so we all can be more proactive. Today, we have to be our own patient advocate. Most of today’s Doctor’s do not listen to patients. Do your own research, to connect the dots, it’s a matter of life and death. Especially when we have a Covid Pandemic taking up a lot of the medical community’s time.

@@evaruiz2711 I’m in the same position Eva. Mine haven’t changed in a month so I imagine they are shotty lymph nodes and have always been that size but if you’re worried do contact your doctors. Mine feels imovable however I did speak with a doctor who said in your groin it is common for them to be immovable due to the fact that there is so much muscle and nowhere for them to move to. Also pea and bean sized CAN be normal (again according to the doctor I spoke to) as anything under 1cm is not considered to even be swollen. Also if it helps, this is what calmed me down, my doctor drew out what a 1cm bean size looked like and it looks HUGE compared to what I was feeling. Of course I’m just sharing the info I received, please do go see a doctor if it’s making you anxious xx

Hello from across the pond! I too have a lot of these symptoms. I am in the infancy of the diagnosis process. I have lynch syndrome. A genetic predisposition to cancer. I have to be monitored regularly which makes me feel like I am in the hospital or at the doc too regularly. Since I have been having more issues my oncologist is testing me all over. It's worth it. My docs here are wasting my time because they can’t figure out what’s going on with me so they just keep bouncing me back and forth with no answers and always 3-4 weeks in between visits meanwhile I continue to get worse and weaker. They don’t really seem to care. My body just seems to be shutting down and I can’t stop it. Was on a mostly plant based diet for the last 9-10 years. A little chips or chocolate bar here n there but no red meat, pork or dairy. I was healthy and active 47 now 48 yr old still cycling, swimming and playing b-ball 3x a week and guys half my age couldn’t keep up. Been in sports all my life. Was sick 10-11 yrs ago with no answers after almost a 1-2 yrs of going to docs y I decided to really change my diet. And started improving 3-4 months in. By one year most of my symptoms had gone. Except for some pain in my right side that would come and go over 5e years and docs could never figure out what it was. Now I’m fighting for my life with still no official diagnosis.this is so crazy and started so suddenly and has drastically changed my body in just 6-7 months. Also aged me like 15yrs!

I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight and can’t put it back on. Exhausted all the time and been to ER twice in the last month for severe stomach pains, almost like my sternum. Not itching like you said but break out in rashes at times for no reason and now I have a nagging pain on left shoulder kinda like in the traps and neck. Did the blood picture it came out mononucleosis. I might have had two illnesses at the same time. Did ultrasound around the neck all came back normal. But initial GP who were treating me has suspected HKL and it had stuck in my head ever since. I’ve recently had influenza followed by a bacterial infection. It has effected my throat & tonsils. Was on a heavy antibiotic regime for 5 days got over the infection. But my lymp nodes on the side of the neck are still swollen. I think I might have to get checked for any serious illnesses again. Maybe you should do too. Just to get it over with. Otherwise it’s affecting day to day life.

I got diagnosed with past infection of EBV virus (mono) recently on blood tests. Everything else was normal. Symptoms stated in video come and go and some lymph nodes have been around for a year or longer, havent noticed a grow in size at all. My GP states that its just from mono virus and will go away in a few weeks, however ive had some of these lymph nodes way before symtoms so Im confused. Im guessing everything is fine because its been so long and there hasnt been a serious symptom that stops me from day to day life. Theres just always that thought in my mind that it might be something more concerning like lymphoma.

    • @itzelx

A lot of people had EBV diagnosis before a cancer one. HOWEVER, mono can last a long time, and symptoms can arise even before diagnosis and after you "feel better." I'm a month late, but if this is still a worry for you, keep track of your symptoms and ask for second or third opinions. Ask for more blood tests if possible.
Just keep in mind, again, that EBV symptoms can last a long time before it goes dormant, and maybe even after. Just keep taking care of yourself - don't worry too much, and seek medical information that's not online or from strangers off RUclips.

I have swollen lymph nodes on my right side of my neck. I went to my doctor a week ago and I got tested positive for strep throat and he said that is the cause of my lymph nodes swelling up. But im experiencing a lot of symptoms like night sweats, shortness of breath, and fever. Is that just because i have an infection? Or do i have lymphoma? Also, can you experience those symptoms and not have lymphoma?

Give it a couple of days as it can be from the strept throat if the lymph nodes are not gone in a couple of days go again

Lymph nodes can swell for a number of reasons (most aren't even serious) so don't worry too much. Keep an eye on it and go back to the doctors if it doesn't get better!

The tumor in your lung . At first was it a solid or was it something that they wasn’t sure about. How fast did it grow ?

I was diagnosed 3 months ago with stage 4 carcinoma of an unknown primary. I've had three biopsies and numerous scans but they cannot find the primary site. I'm trying not to be afraid but it's getting so frustrating because they won't give me a PET scan which would have most likely cleared up all doubt at the beginning. They want to give me taxol without knowing what the cancer is. I was to go to chemo yesterday but started thinking about how my immune system will be compromised, I'll be tired and sick and there is no guarantee it will even work. All the while I was angry that they won't give me a PET scan! I started getting panic attacks and left.
My right shoulder, arm and and that side of my neck are extremely sore and itchy all the time, yet the doctor says the lymph nodes are enlarged but that they are not the source of the cancer. I'm at my wits end and am getting really depressed about it all. It's come to the point where I have called a private clinic to pay for the PET scan myself.
