Batman is a psychotic near-criminal who uses enormous wealth and power as a way to beat on people who he psychologically associates with the death of his parents, clinging desperately to a moral code where beating someone to near death isn't a crime. He destroys himself in the process - something you see here where he hides in the dark even though he doesn't need to.
Superman is a physical God who uses his power to do as little harm as possible, and treats everything with respect and dignity, even endangering himself repeatedly to do so.
When you exchange the two, they remain the same character. Batman's psychosis turns him into a burgeoning tyrant, a flying moral vacuum determined to carry out an imagined vengeance. Superman's loss of power turns him into Clark Kent. Someone he was anyway.

Except you missed all the things of importance in this comic book story. Batmans mind was altered along with the power meaning he wasn't acting as himself.
It's convenient how every superhero on the planet forgets Kryptonite's existence when Batman becomes the one with powers.
Edit: I'd also like to point out how dumb they wrote Nightwing in this comic specifically because he was going against Batman. Nightwing is supposed to be a genius tactician ace detective trained by Batman himself. He should KNOW that a Kryptonian, no matter how sun deprived, is still WAY STRONGER than a human. Idk why he thought he could take on Batman there. Just another classic example of how writers have to dumb down a character just so Batman can shine.
Funny you should mention that, earlier in this exact series, Superman and Batman worked together to get rid of all the kryptonite on earth, after realizing that it's insanely common to the point where a movie set bought real kryptonite for a film cause it was easier than making fake prop kryptonite. They succeed, getting rid of literally every molecule of kryptonite on earth... outside of Batman's private stash of course.

@@WebbedManiac Eh, chances are good that Batman kept that kryptonite stash private from even Dick. Too dangerous in the wrong hands. Alternatively, Super Bats might have just moved the stash before Dick could use it.
@@WebbedManiacIt’s effective against Kryptonians, Batman got the powers based on essentially a wish, I doubt it would’ve included that weakness regardless. Just required the sunlight to keep those powers optimized.
