speed is not only one of the best but also the hardest to write without using plot and other methods to contain the hero/villain so they don't end the story in one second.

Flash v Superman is a bit more nuanced. It's fairly well established that Flash is faster, but Supes is 'just' fast enough that his near invulnerability 'should' make up the difference. Not that Supes would 'win,' just not be easily taken out by Flash.
it's not that OP like you're thinking... your thinking is a bass level, try to think hard about this ability...let me give you an idea, for example mimic guy face captain America...copy his super soldier powers, and fight him... who's gonna win?? a guy who practice with those same powers for years, fought many battles or a guy who just recently copied him??...the part you're missing is, when it comes to experience and learning curve that those actual power holders have but not the mimic guy...he can't win against them, except in the case of powers being very basic with no learning curve like maybe hulk's brutal unorganised strength...
There’s also reality warping which is also super op. The user can essentially bend reality to their will, create things from nothing, erase people from existence, bring back the dead, manipulate all physical and metaphysical forces/concepts, make fantasy real, alter the flow of time, control the power of others, create pocket dimensions, transmute matter, etc. It’s really cool when done well(like in WandaVision), but a lot of times movies and shows don’t do it Justice by showing off how powerful and creative it can be. Scarlet Witch would be the most well known character who can do this.
And then there is plot manipulation, which is infinitely stronger than reality warping, which literally allows you to manipulate the plot and narrative.
If I am not wrong I remember (very) vagely Nightcrawler power was explained as not really being teleportation but him jumping into another dimension before jumping back at his destination location Also Doctor Strange doesn't teleporte but use magic to create a wormhole
To be honest, don’t forget about Dante, the guy literally having mastery of pretty much every weapon you can think of, he’s like Taskmaster on steroids
fire-manipulation (pyrokinesis), electricity-manipulation (electro kinesis), water manipulation (hydro kinesis), magnetism, geo-kinesis etc all the power which involve controlling element/physical object with thought is generally classified as lesser version of telekinesis

8:36 I feel like duplication is an underrated super power. Like imagine attacking someone, and they immediately become a hundred angry versions of that person that want to kill you.
One really underrated, and seemingly forgotten one is Portals. It's more versatile, and arguably _much_ more powerful than Teleportation if you get creative with them. The thing I don't see much at all is the fact you also gain Size Manipulation with them if you open two portals at different scales. For an example of what I mean, you can open a small portal, then a bus sized one. Then reach in to have your massive hand casually crush a building. Or you can make door sized one, then a much smaller one to come out the size of an ant like Ant-man.
Great video! Although here a few you neglected to mention: Hammerspace - The power of having an extradimensional, instantly near limitless accessible storage area for a variety things for amost any situation including (but not limited to) - hammers, guns, disguises, bombs, anvils, mallets etc - from behind their backs, a magic bag or "just off-screen". Characters with this power include: Dr Who, Mary Poppins, Bugs Bunny, Deadpool and (to a lesser extent) Batman. Reality Warping - The power to defy the conventional law of physics, shape reality, create, covert, destroy and recreate matter at a whim, make the impossible possible, shape worlds and whole whole planes of existence. Characters with this power include: Mister Mxyzptlk, Scarlet Witch, The Beyonder, Mary Poppins, Most magic users, The Mask and (to a lesser extent) Deadpool. 4-Wall Breaking - The ability to acknowledge that they are a fictional character that exists in a comic/movie/TV show an use it to their advantage. Characters with this power include: The Joker, Ambush Bug, Pinky Pie, Zack Morris and, of course, Deadpool.
Being able to materialize and re-materialize anything. Even yourself. You could disappear without aging because you wouldn't be affected by time. You could select attacks. You could transport anything. You could make people disappear. You could make things reappear inside of people and make them explode. Mimicry wouldn't work well because they wouldn't have anything stored unlike you. You could make certain parts of things re-appear. You could build anything. If you want to add to this list you can.
0:43, In general, some form of super-physicality is present even in beings that aren't even considered "powered" or "super", like Batman (who is technically classified as a metahuman, or super-being, by Amanda Waller) or Daredevil (who while a powered being, his power is just his super senses and doesn't logically enhance his other physical attributes like strength, durability or endurance), as they consistently achieve or recover from impossible feats for any ordinary person (mostly because these worlds are more science fantasy than science fiction). 2:02, Gazerbeam from Incredibles in an interesting take on this power since it
Creation (Literally any power related to creating a certain concept like a weapon or a gun), Domain Materialization (Known by many names. Examples of the power are: Domain Expansion, Marble Phantasms, Reality Marbles)
energy and matter absorption (power of alioth from loki) is an op super power as well, nothing can hurt you because basically all attacks are matter or energy energy beam/plasma blast/electricity are energy punching, throwing object, etc are matter characters with energy absorption- captain marvel, photon/pulsar, miles morales, electro, hulk, iron man, infinity ultron, strange supreme, nayone with vibranium etc reality manipulation and magic are op as well you can mess with things in quantum level, transmute matter and energy, remove things from existance, create some thing from nothing, change laws of science and math, do basically any thing you want, control any one and anything, summon any creature or entire armies, use any other powers there is character- scarlet witch, doctor strange, alastor, dr fate, loki, odin, frigga, sylvi, asgardians, etc other powers i can think are probability/luck manipulation, spatial manipulation(dormamu's follower form doctor strange 1, any one with tesseract/space stone, etc), force field or energy barrier/shield creation or physic barrier, portal creation, turning into energy, shadow manipulation, soul/aura manipulation, knowledge, thought/idea/will influence, illusion casting, hallucination, mass/ shape and size manipulation(groot and ms marvel), emotion/fear manipulation, matter manipulation, terrain manipulation, rich etc
inorganic corporal build like sandman and hydroman, wax man, clayface, venom and absorbing man, if you are made of sand and water, you can reform from any damage making you indestructible asn can take lots of damage, change body structure, be soft or hard, shape/size shift, copy peoples apperences, form weapon, etc other power i can think of: sound/vibration attack (shocker, muto prime, etc), possessing other, etc
drawbacks that nobody talks about strength: bone shatters if you're gonna punch harder than your bones can handle speed: go too fast, if you hit something small like a grain of sand it'll feel like needles essentially turning any partical in your way into a bullet. Can work like strength if used properly shape shifting: your bones and others would have to contort in painful ways plus you'll look creepy invisibility: you have a higher risk of getting hit by something e.g a car since the driver cant see you plus you willl have to be naked to use this bio suit: one disagreement and it's gonna hold you back in battle or do something reckless elasticity: hard to contrl plus feels weird mind control: you'll have to be way too specific about your commands if you want it done effectively healing factor: pain teleportation via portals: one above and below you and you wont be having a fun time energy projection: accidents happens telepathy: easily interupted as long as you're slightly distracted time manipulation: paradoxes duplication: you all think the same thing which means they may also want your life + no guarantee you can re-absorb them phasing: lose clothes animal communication: imagine standing on top of an ant colony that's it
In your comic You should definitely have a villain with immortality and regeneration that has lived for 1000 years and has a part of his body as a skeleton and decoded to leave it like that because it looks cool. Also after they fight he should say he wasn’t trying and then give info on the evil organization (he knows this because he’s lived so long) Just some little ideas 😅
Good video. That being said Mimikry can be good but notoriously hard to use. There's usually a character like that in fighting games and it requires you to be very familiar with the other person's kit/options like Shang Tsung from MK
5:50 One of my characters is able to teleport (without equitments). He deconstracts on moleculs, fly them to another place and reconstruct. Yes it hurts. He still is not used to it.
I love how jumper does teleportation where they turn this power that seems harmless into a extremely powerful weapon, like when they are creating shockwaves by teleporting just a meter in front of them, or when teleporting a UK bus by teleporting it, would be some epic fight scenes, like teleporting a entire train
Batman power could be the human skill vigilante like daredevil, punisher, Deadshot, lex luthor, iron man, even sisyphus... The ability and skill to go against gods with human capabilities
Now I want an anti-stereotypical superhero team. Like a smart strong person who doesn’t like fighting, the fast person who……… idk…… a guy with plot armor that JUST WANTS TO DIE! The flying due afraid of heights, an x-ray dude who can’t communicate, the invisible guy who is basically the guy mentioned in the video, the shape shifter that either can’t change into animals, or is a motivational speaker and firm believer that you should be yourself, the bio organic suit wearer that f*ckin hates his partner, the teleporter that is terrible at geography and teleports to exact coordinates, (I know some of these aren’t anti stereotypical but funny anyway)
The mind controller with 0 charisma and acting skills, the dumb and unwise telekinetic, the laser dude who doesn’t understand light, has terrible aim, and can’t even withstand his own energy,
The time controller who has bad memory and failed history, the duplicator who is bad at math, leadership, coordination, take your pick. The mimic man who is bad at adapting/a slow leaner, the animal communicator that hates animals and is like a botanist, the phaser that randomly unphases cuz…. ADHD or something idk, (btw some will just have draw backs to their power instead of the heroes themselves not fitting the stereotype)
The future sight dude who can’t see the future and present simultaneously and/or only sees like a few seconds early, so he sees himself getting beaten then feels himself getting beaten (I imagine him going “Ah, I see a future of an alien invasion” and his teammates are like “no shit there is an alien ABIUT to stab you and a giant mothership over us.”

5:20 I actually made a version that works by taking apart every atom of your body or of an object and re-assembling an object at effectively light speed in another place this makes it almost like near instant teleportation. There are some caveats however… 1. You need to know where your going 2. It is best if you have clear sight of where your going before teleporting 3. If done wrong you can just erase yourself from existence 4. Longer range teleportation has a larger chance of losing atoms and therefore can kill you if you teleport too much or too far. The way it was used in what I made it was basically only used by especially powerful people who knew the system of let’s say magic and how it works. They also did not use it as a form of transportation rather it is mainly used as short ranged teleportation which was used mostly as a way to dodge stuff that should be almost impossible to dodge otherwise. Basically it was a last resort ability meant to get you out of a situation.
I would love the power Reality Warping (sometimes called Reality Alteration or Reality Manipulation) is a term used to describe the ability to manipulate reality itself. The ability to change reality into how the person in question sees fit, while ignoring the rules of science. Users can alter any item already considered real. Absolutely op in the right hands and can do most of the other super powers in this video lol.

Imagin a character who can teleport, but as you said he has to destroy himself and "Clone" himself elswere, but everytime he teleports a very smal thing from his body canges, like he shrinks 5 mm or his skin gets a bit darker. And on the begining of the story where he finds out he has powers, he abuses these powers so often that he looks like a complitly differnt person when he gets back home.
Martian Manhunter is a good example of many of these Abilities. He can shapeshift, which includes healing by just re-shaping himself and elasticity by stretching his shape. But he also has psychic powers, which can include mind-reading or even mind-control. And on top of that, he is naturally able to fly, is immensely strong, fast and nearly invulnerable to anything. Even fire, his original weakness, was only from trauma and is not a literal biological downside to his body. His only weakness now is... Being socially awkward. Relatable
In the past he also had precognition & used a plant to create his clothes (so technically a bio suit). I think he’s just missing out on teleportation & time manipulation.

@@yamato9753Ehh he even has duplication to an extent. He creates copies of himself occasionally as back ups. One was a cat for instance. I’d say Martians have the cardboard problem too, as J’onn has made Superman bleed before.
Shapeshifting is such an underrated super power, and Plastic Man proves that it could be so much more than just, well, shifting your shape. He can alter every part of him down to his very atoms. He can very easily defeat Superman if he wants to. That's why he wasn't afraid to confront Superman in the Injustice comic series and intentionally get him upset. I wrote a character based on Plas, whose name is Ember, where his shapeshifting goes beyond "Transform into this guy," "transform into an animal." He can not only rewrite his own atomic structure, but I also implemented the Mimicry superpower as well, as he can change his molecular structure so that he could just *give himself* other super powers like Speed, Flight, the power to create and destroy universes, etc, but he never uses it in that way because he never gets into situations where he needs those powers. He's like if Plas had the personality and hobbies of Star Lord, pretty much. Time manipulation is probably my third favourite power after my favourite being Shapeshifting, and my second favourite being Speed. I wrote a character whose the physical manifestation of time itself, a Primodial God of Time, who I simply call "Time Noir." Whenever someone is about to die - whether from old age, or from being murdered - Time slows down around them as Time Noir appears in front of them, wearing an obsidian-black mask that he takes off to show all of the person's life, having it flash by them. Funnily enough, that's not what he uses his powers for most of the time. He usually uses them to spend time with his brother, Reality Noir. For the "Batman" category, that would have to be my main character, who my username is named after: Zach Yohama, genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. He would probably be my Mary Sue of characters mainly because of how advanced the technology he creates is, being able to replicate the powers of the sun, in the palm of his hand. Though, he's the character that dies most often out of my characters, so he would most likely be Peter Parker if he was Iron Man.
Absorption there's this webtoon called I get stronger the more I eat its a isekai sort of deal the mc nicknamed petshop has a pretty unique concept of this and obviously there buu from dbz
Transmutation (think Atom Eve), Technopathy (think Upgrade [the movie and from Ben10]), Astral Projection and Probability Manipulation (think Jinx [from Teen Titans] or Lucky Girl [from Ben 10]).
Awesome! Thank you for explaining and giving advice for writing characters with these powers. If you make a part 2, there's also magnetic telepathy (Magneto), turning thoughts into objects (Doctor Strange, Green Lantern) and laser eyes (Superman, Cyclops). Tho I guess laser eyes is just energy projection?
cyclops's eye beam are not laser, its optic blast laser are hot and made for cutting and melting while optic blast is kinetic energy like water from fire truck, and the heat is has comes from friction and air compression like in meteors
Probability manipulation: the ability to alter your own luck or the luck of those around you or to increase or decrease the likelihood of any particular outcome. This is seen with Domino, Black Cat, and technically Scarlet Witch. Body enhancement: This is usually seen with a tragic character who has lost or mostly lost thier original body but were gifted with a new one that augments them. Such as Cyborg from Titans or the protagonist from Deus X. Bone manipulation: the ability to manipulate and even generate yournown bones to use as weaponry. This is mostly seen with Wolverine but is taken a step further with Marrow from the Morlocks who would go one to inspire the creation of Spyke in X-Men Evolution. Using thier bones like throwing knives and armor. Armor generation: The ability to rapidly create a casing of protection. This is seen from Colossus, Kevin Levin, and Emma Frost In addition to energy projection you should add energy manipulation to account for similar abilities but with folks like Green Lantern who can project the energy into any shape they imagine. Or Invisible Woman with her force fields. Real Time Super Deduction: the ability to map out insane cause and effect planning quickly. This is commonly seen with Sheelock Holmes but you'll really see how this can be a super power when Brainstorm from Ben 10 uses it. Techno-kensis: The ability to control and manipulate technology, such as Upgrade from Ben 10 who can merge with mundane objects and turn them into weapons. Control of Fire: ability to manipulate fire like with Pyro from X-Men, generate it like with Fire Benders, and even incase yourself in it without being harmed like with Human Torch. Kinetic Alteration: the ability to slow molecules until the objects become frozen like with Iceman or speed them up until they become a bomb like with Gambit. Elemental Control: This is your Storm, your Benders, your Terra etc. Anyone who can manipulate natural forces. Divinity: The abilities associated with receiving them from a higher power. Usually seen with characters who act as God's judgement or vengeance. For example Ghost Rider can punish people for their sins by staring into their eyes. Or how the Spectre knows what you've done if anything with omnipotence. Acidity: Being incased in or being made of acid/being able to create it without harming yourself to use against your foes. Reincarnation: Ability to revive after desth, this is separate from healing as the character did indeed die but they get a new life to attempt to fulfill their destiny. However, usually having no memory and starting over from infancy. Such as Link or Hawkman. Super Senses: Enhanced ability to smell, see, touch, etc like with Daredevil or Wolverine. That's all I can think of, just kinda went team by team, franchise to frsmchise thinking of what wasn't mentioned.
Lmao I unironically forgot Perception Shifting, which is funny because this applies to characters like Forget-Me-Not. A character of which everyone forgets exists when not actively perceiving him. Your memory of him would be wiped as soon as you stop looking at him. The Silence from Doctor Who work similarly, tho your memory of any interaction with them is restored when seeing them again. FMN on the the other hand has to reintroduce himself to people he's worked with for years on a daily
@@drelixcomicsA good idea for a video would be about the secondary powers needed for the main power. For exemple for super speed you also need: -Super dynamic vision to see where you are going -Accelerated thought to react in time -A power for resisting air friction -A power for resisting the increase in G -A power to deal with the lack of oxygen -Super stamina
5:40 imagine a teleporting character dying and going to heaven, just to find out that every time he teleported a version of him was killed and sent to the afterlife, and they're all chilling together watching the most recent teleport clone or celebrating the fact that they'll finally stop overcrowding the afterlife with random copies of themselves
Not sure if Genius counts as an superpowers, but I get the point. As for desinty control, sooo.. Preaty much Vision. Sounds like the up grade version of phasing. As for my take on, I'm kinda suprized the guy never mentioned "elemental powers". From Killer Frost and Static shock, to characters who also are the elements they control, like Human Torch, Icemen, Hydromen, Swampthing, or Clayface and Sandmen. Or magic and "ilusions", like Charmcasters of DC, Marvel and Ben10, or Loki.
If you point out the difference in mimicking and mastery I think teleportation and like portal generation because there was this show on Netflix called wakfu and the mc had this crazy portal power anyways you definitely forgot adaptation you're doomsday, 682 and maheraga
the best shape shifting is likely mahito from jujutsu kaisen while he does sometimes fully change his body to one thing, a lot of times he can mix and max, or just stretch and stab, but it's never just one thing like if you had shape shifting, you wouldn't just make yourself a cheeta to be fast, no, you'd give yourself peak form for speed
Didn't know jjk had a shapeshifter, the peak form thing remembers me the omnitrix how it transforms the user into the peak form of the alien selected (and also im pretty sure ben 10 takes the cake when it comes to shapeshifting)
There was a tumblr writing prompt thingy that went somewhere along the long of this A team of superheroes where they are all speedsters living a lie. Person A claims they can teleport but has to run super fast to look like a teleported. Person B claims they can … fill in the blank here with every gimmick you saw with The Flash or Quicksilver. On a different note, I wonder what would happen if a speedster drank/ate something to allow underwater breathing then use the super speed underwater. If they run on the ocean floor, would anything change? Compare to how we wade through water. What about swimming? Different sent of muscles and breathing pattern. With and without the underwater breathing potion / seaweed so to speak. Water pressure and visibility adds up.
1:09 it's underrated if your talking about Sonic because in the DC world, you may be going fast, but for you, everything is just slowed down, so in a lot of situations, it's not that good, but when we're talking about Sonic, that's only one of the two ways he goes fast, he also can actually run fast without it looking like normal walking to him.
There's elemental power like bending from avatar you could put this under a type of power that is just control or manipulation because there are things that arnt elements like gravity that have plenty of examples
While elemental abilities is missing but also animal abilities, things like claws, heightened senses, venom, or any other ability that can be found in nature.
Mentioning batman as a super power is so realistic,, I remember how that guy would dodge lots bullets when criminals shot him in the old batman animated series
X-ray isn’t a power by itself, but I think almost any power should have associated sense powers. Wolverine has beast senses, iron man has tech sensors, and electric characters have electromagnetic senses, plus like Daredevil
Accually there was some sort of test done about the teleportation one and if you think about a 2d model to make a portal from one side of paper to the other you'd have to fold it in half so that's what you'd have to do in the 3D model AKA fold the universe😄
The teleportation idea is actually covered by a manga called Ajin: Demi human where people can regenerate from the largest part of thier bodies so effectively teleport, but this means destroying your entire body and getting more or less reborn as a clone. I highy recomend it
Another unique version of flight I think is in my hero since deku and the 7th user can only float but using the strength of one for all they can propel themselves which can allow them to fly
Teleportation is technically possible IRL due to Quantum Mechanics. Quantum Tunneling is basically that since all matter is Energy (at a certain vibrational frequency) all matter has a wave function. Where that wave function is measured is its location in space-time. It is possible for this wave to be measured on the other side of a barrier or distance. Now, the probability of this is less than the probability that any two randomly selected fundamental particles in the universe are the same ones, but it is still possible. Meaning someone with the ability to manipulate probability would be able to teleport via Quantum Tunneling.
Shapeshifting is a power that I feel often goes under utilized as people use it to transform into things that already exist. Shapeshifting especially without energy or biological restrictions allows a person to turn themselves into literally anything. For example you could give yourself armored skin capable of stopping tank shells, and subdermal cartilage to disperse the force preventing blunt force trama from said tank shell. There a lot of things you can do with shapeshifting that aren't properly utilized in any source of media I've seen.

It’s really cool when done well(like in WandaVision), but a lot of times movies and shows don’t do it Justice by showing off how powerful and creative it can be.
Scarlet Witch would be the most well known character who can do this.
And Ben 10 in his alien x form is also a great example of this.
The son of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman is also a known example
It's basically a package of dozens, if not hundreds of powers, most of which are already incredibly busted on their own.
does bill cipher count for this
And then there is plot manipulation, which is infinitely stronger than reality warping, which literally allows you to manipulate the plot and narrative.
5:49 actually, it was covered with spawn. Teleportation was extremely painful to him for that reason.
Batman’s superpower is that he’s rich 😂
If I am not wrong I remember (very) vagely Nightcrawler power was explained as not really being teleportation but him jumping into another dimension before jumping back at his destination location
Also Doctor Strange doesn't teleporte but use magic to create a wormhole
To be honest, don’t forget about Dante, the guy literally having mastery of pretty much every weapon you can think of, he’s like Taskmaster on steroids
Taskmaster without the need to copy and paste.
Dante? I was Dante once
Fire, Electricity, Plant and Ice is some I can thing of.
fire-manipulation (pyrokinesis), electricity-manipulation (electro kinesis), water manipulation (hydro kinesis), magnetism, geo-kinesis etc all the power which involve controlling element/physical object with thought is generally classified as lesser version of telekinesis
@@RealmOfFictionthe best one is mylokinesis
So basically elemental manipulation?
@@RealmOfFictionno 😭? Pyrokinesis, Electrokinesis, Chlorokinesis, and Cryokinesis are all separate powers. Telekinesis using psionic energy to telekinetically move objects without touching them
Just like bending in the Avatar universe
1:48 "actually Batman just being Batman , idk why we pretend this guy is human" 😂 he's Batman
8:36 I feel like duplication is an underrated super power. Like imagine attacking someone, and they immediately become a hundred angry versions of that person that want to kill you.
Naruto
Bro forgot to mention Multiple Man😂
ay, batman and chuck Norris don't have plot armour, they are the plot
One really underrated, and seemingly forgotten one is Portals. It's more versatile, and arguably _much_ more powerful than Teleportation if you get creative with them.
The thing I don't see much at all is the fact you also gain Size Manipulation with them if you open two portals at different scales.
For an example of what I mean, you can open a small portal, then a bus sized one. Then reach in to have your massive hand casually crush a building.
Or you can make door sized one, then a much smaller one to come out the size of an ant like Ant-man.
Great video! Although here a few you neglected to mention:
Hammerspace - The power of having an extradimensional, instantly near limitless accessible storage area for a variety things for amost any situation including (but not limited to) - hammers, guns, disguises, bombs, anvils, mallets etc - from behind their backs, a magic bag or "just off-screen".
4th wall breaking isn't really a superpower though since there's a lot of regular people in fiction who can do that (they could also be schizo)
If you want to add to this list you can.
forever young yikes on the exploding people from within
That's like having an inventory
For Duplication, bro forgot to add Jamie Madrox a.k.a Multiple Man😂
0:43, In general, some form of super-physicality is present even in beings that aren't even considered "powered" or "super", like Batman (who is technically classified as a metahuman, or super-being, by Amanda Waller) or Daredevil (who while a powered being, his power is just his super senses and doesn't logically enhance his other physical attributes like strength, durability or endurance), as they consistently achieve or recover from impossible feats for any ordinary person (mostly because these worlds are more science fantasy than science fiction).
Like green lantern
Biosuit is actually kinda neat.
energy and matter absorption (power of alioth from loki) is an op super power as well, nothing can hurt you because basically all attacks are matter or energy
energy beam/plasma blast/electricity are energy
punching, throwing object, etc are matter
characters with energy absorption- captain marvel, photon/pulsar, miles morales, electro, hulk, iron man, infinity ultron, strange supreme, nayone with vibranium etc
reality manipulation and magic are op as well
you can mess with things in quantum level, transmute matter and energy, remove things from existance, create some thing from nothing, change laws of science and math, do basically any thing you want, control any one and anything, summon any creature or entire armies, use any other powers there is
character- scarlet witch, doctor strange, alastor, dr fate, loki, odin, frigga, sylvi, asgardians, etc
other powers i can think are probability/luck manipulation, spatial manipulation(dormamu's follower form doctor strange 1, any one with tesseract/space stone, etc), force field or energy barrier/shield creation or physic barrier, portal creation, turning into energy, shadow manipulation, soul/aura manipulation, knowledge, thought/idea/will influence, illusion casting, hallucination, mass/ shape and size manipulation(groot and ms marvel), emotion/fear manipulation, matter manipulation, terrain manipulation, rich etc
inorganic corporal build like sandman and hydroman, wax man, clayface, venom and absorbing man, if you are made of sand and water, you can reform from any damage making you indestructible asn can take lots of damage, change body structure, be soft or hard, shape/size shift, copy peoples apperences, form weapon, etc
other power i can think of: sound/vibration attack (shocker, muto prime, etc), possessing other, etc
4:23 Or spiritually like Mahito from JJK!
Bro this video is so well made . I was chuckling all the way through. You've definitely earned my sub. Hope the channel grows even more.
drawbacks that nobody talks about
strength: bone shatters if you're gonna punch harder than your bones can handle
speed: go too fast, if you hit something small like a grain of sand it'll feel like needles essentially turning any partical in your way into a bullet. Can work like strength if used properly
shape shifting: your bones and others would have to contort in painful ways plus you'll look creepy
invisibility: you have a higher risk of getting hit by something e.g a car since the driver cant see you plus you willl have to be naked to use this
bio suit: one disagreement and it's gonna hold you back in battle or do something reckless
elasticity: hard to contrl plus feels weird
mind control: you'll have to be way too specific about your commands if you want it done effectively
healing factor: pain
teleportation via portals: one above and below you and you wont be having a fun time
energy projection: accidents happens
telepathy: easily interupted as long as you're slightly distracted
time manipulation: paradoxes
duplication: you all think the same thing which means they may also want your life + no guarantee you can re-absorb them
phasing: lose clothes
animal communication: imagine standing on top of an ant colony
that's it
Batman: lack of parental figures.
In your comic You should definitely have a villain with immortality and regeneration that has lived for 1000 years and has a part of his body as a skeleton and decoded to leave it like that because it looks cool.
Also after they fight he should say he wasn’t trying and then give info on the evil organization (he knows this because he’s lived so long)
Just some little ideas 😅
I LOVE the idea of transportation leading to psychological issues.
I thought this video was gonna be a meme but it actually helps with my writing
Naruto arguably is the most famous duplication user
Can't lie about that one
Multiple Man😂
“The word teleporter is just a funny word for 3D printer”- The Doctor
JJBA is an entire treasure-trove of superpowers manifested as Stands
Listing Batman as a superpower is the funniest thing youtube has recommended to me today.🤣🤣🤣
Very fun video! One power to add that I can think of would be Illusion Creation. A very versatile power with a great room for creativity.
Good video. That being said Mimikry can be good but notoriously hard to use. There's usually a character like that in fighting games and it requires you to be very familiar with the other person's kit/options like Shang Tsung from MK
Batman dosent need plot armor he is the plot
How about making extensions of your body like the bone guy from naruto?
5:50 One of my characters is able to teleport (without equitments). He deconstracts on moleculs, fly them to another place and reconstruct. Yes it hurts. He still is not used to it.
I love how there’s a bunch of normal powers and then there’s just BATMAN
The flying due afraid of heights, an x-ray dude who can’t communicate, the invisible guy who is basically the guy mentioned in the video, the shape shifter that either can’t change into animals, or is a motivational speaker and firm believer that you should be yourself, the bio organic suit wearer that f*ckin hates his partner, the teleporter that is terrible at geography and teleports to exact coordinates,
(I know some of these aren’t anti stereotypical but funny anyway)
The mind controller with 0 charisma and acting skills, the dumb and unwise telekinetic, the laser dude who doesn’t understand light, has terrible aim, and can’t even withstand his own energy,
Telepath that doesn’t speak English and can’t understand or communicate with others,
The time controller who has bad memory and failed history, the duplicator who is bad at math, leadership, coordination, take your pick.
Blood control: the abilitie to manipulate blood
Soul arvest: the abilitie to arvest the soul of the dead to make you stronger
Molecules control: the abilitie to change the molecules in your surrounding
Powers you missed creation: making objects, special manipulation creating infinite barriers of space, destroying space itself to hit and destroy opponents etc.,Absorption and release literally absorbing dmg energy so on so forth and releasing it,Causality warp changing reality like making opponents not be able to hit you, changing “fate” to not die when you would have died so on so forth,Any type of control over elements like electromagnetic fields, atmosphere, air, water, fire etc, soul control the ability to revive after dying, relive in a different body and life or live in your life with a second chance from the start, revive others and create new life,Magic just magic or any form form of power system relating to magic, toxin poison allowing one to use poison to kill enemies in the poisons effects, sound: any sound based attacks like voice attacks echoing voice and such, explosion, fusion allowing certain people to gain powers together,density/mass control ability to change density of objects theoretically could make a black hole, illusion to create different effects and telekinesis allowing control of objects using your mind.
Probably missed a lot if you have more submit in replies

5:20 I actually made a version that works by taking apart every atom of your body or of an object and re-assembling an object at effectively light speed in another place this makes it almost like near instant teleportation. There are some caveats however…
1. You need to know where your going
2. It is best if you have clear sight of where your going before teleporting
3. If done wrong you can just erase yourself from existence
Energy beams. So ki blasts from Goku, laser vision from cyclops or superman, ect... Also elemental powers like Aang, Sub-zero or the human torch
Very nice recommendations
@@masonmcfadden4886 thanks. aw crap i forgot to mention Storm.
I like how Batman is a category
Chuck Norris doesn’t have plot armour he just has a ever increasing amount of superpowers
I would love the power Reality Warping (sometimes called Reality Alteration or Reality Manipulation) is a term used to describe the ability to manipulate reality itself. The ability to change reality into how the person in question sees fit, while ignoring the rules of science. Users can alter any item already considered real.
Absolutely op in the right hands and can do most of the other super powers in this video lol.
you'll love, Everything, Everywhere all at once, the movie😅

2:01 That was a good joke.
gravity
just think of how less energy you'd spend walking and running, and you could basically fly
that's basicallt telekinesis bro and he mentioned it
Technically yes and no,since gravity can make black holes and stuff like that
Imagin a character who can teleport, but as you said he has to destroy himself and "Clone" himself elswere, but everytime he teleports a very smal thing from his body canges, like he shrinks 5 mm or his skin gets a bit darker.
@@guardiantree8879 Yeah, that and duplication.
Martians are really OP. I wanna be a martian rather than a kryptonian, they don't have that "world of cardboard" Problem
@@yamato9753Ehh he even has duplication to an extent. He creates copies of himself occasionally as back ups. One was a cat for instance.
I’d say Martians have the cardboard problem too, as J’onn has made Superman bleed before.
@@guardiantree8879 Yeah, but he could shape himself into a weaker form once he is out of battle. That's how I would try to avoid the cardboard dilemma
@@yamato9753Ahh true, though I wonder if he can do that with his mental abilities? His mind might live in a world of glass compared to humans.
*ah yes my fav superpower BATMAN* 😂
LOVE YOUR VIDEO MAN such underrated ❤
Absorption there's this webtoon called I get stronger the more I eat its a isekai sort of deal the mc nicknamed petshop has a pretty unique concept of this and obviously there buu from dbz
6:12 No what I'd do is instead of teleworking he creates clones of himself wherever he wants.
Transmutation (think Atom Eve), Technopathy (think Upgrade [the movie and from Ben10]), Astral Projection and Probability Manipulation (think Jinx [from Teen Titans] or Lucky Girl [from Ben 10]).
flight it’s just part of Superman s power because superpower can shoot lasers and have superhuman strength and x ray vision
Post cognition would be the worst.
“Yeah that was F’ed up what he did to you yesterday. Wish I could help.”
Awesome! Thank you for explaining and giving advice for writing characters with these powers.
If you make a part 2, there's also magnetic telepathy (Magneto), turning thoughts into objects (Doctor Strange, Green Lantern) and laser eyes (Superman, Cyclops).
Tho I guess laser eyes is just energy projection?
cyclops's eye beam are not laser, its optic blast
laser are hot and made for cutting and melting
while optic blast is kinetic energy like water from fire truck, and the heat is has comes from friction and air compression like in meteors
I like how there is a few that we shouldn’t give Glen Quagmire
3:01 I saw a Corax and a were-boar from WoD NICE!
This is seen from Colossus, Kevin Levin, and Emma Frost
In addition to energy projection you should add energy manipulation to account for similar abilities but with folks like Green Lantern who can project the energy into any shape they imagine.
Bro some of these are really good,Imma shout you out in Part 2 - Mirin the high-effort comment 💯
Control of light, be it physical or illusions.
Control of wind/air.
Control of emotions.
Could u do a part 2 and add multiple different elements such as water ice wind etc
I'm on it💯
@@drelixcomicsA good idea for a video would be about the secondary powers needed for the main power.
For exemple for super speed you also need:
-Super dynamic vision to see where you are going
-Accelerated thought to react in time
-A power for resisting air friction
-A power for resisting the increase in G
-A power to deal with the lack of oxygen
-Super stamina
@@drelixcomics thx
There's so much powers that if you want to make a series explaining all of it, It'll take years
5:40 imagine a teleporting character dying and going to heaven, just to find out that every time he teleported a version of him was killed and sent to the afterlife, and they're all chilling together watching the most recent teleport clone or celebrating the fact that they'll finally stop overcrowding the afterlife with random copies of themselves
Bro make this story happen😂
What about gadgeteer or super intelligence?
size manipulation-ant man, wasp, technology-iron man and batman, weapon user thor, loki, shang chi, illusion -loki,wanda and so on
also Genius and Density Control
Not sure if Genius counts as an superpowers, but I get the point.
As for desinty control, sooo.. Preaty much Vision. Sounds like the up grade version of phasing.
As for my take on, I'm kinda suprized the guy never mentioned "elemental powers". From Killer Frost and Static shock, to characters who also are the elements they control, like Human Torch, Icemen, Hydromen, Swampthing, or Clayface and Sandmen.
Or magic and "ilusions", like Charmcasters of DC, Marvel and Ben10, or Loki.
@@dedalionarts6077 well genius is counted as one in DC, when they mention Metahumans on blue beeltles profile (Ted Kord) it mentions genius as one.
If you point out the difference in mimicking and mastery I think teleportation and like portal generation because there was this show on Netflix called wakfu and the mc had this crazy portal power anyways you definitely forgot adaptation you're doomsday, 682 and maheraga
Ash Ketchum's aura powers(if this got fleshed out) can manifest as all of those powers
Martian Manhunter has every single one of these (at least at one time) except teleportation.
One weakness does the flash have that not a lot of people know of it's cold temperatures? So flash speed only works if he's not cold
You forgot size changing, communication with technology, inter-dimensional travel, enhanced senses, magnetic manipulation, and force field generation.
Do Pot 3
the best shape shifting is likely mahito from jujutsu kaisen
while he does sometimes fully change his body to one thing, a lot of times he can mix and max, or just stretch and stab, but it's never just one thing
like if you had shape shifting, you wouldn't just make yourself a cheeta to be fast, no, you'd give yourself peak form for speed
No, it's martian manhunter. Not Manito.
Didn't know jjk had a shapeshifter, the peak form thing remembers me the omnitrix how it transforms the user into the peak form of the alien selected (and also im pretty sure ben 10 takes the cake when it comes to shapeshifting)
@@MarioLee-sc1peYeah, j’onn’s one of the best, though he has so many powers it’s not easily noticed.
@@guardiantree8879 those anime weebs think that anime characters are the only one that is peak fiction.
The flash: what is your super power?
Batman: I can buy all super power
There was a tumblr writing prompt thingy that went somewhere along the long of this
A team of superheroes where they are all speedsters living a lie.
If this was about the omnitrix I'll definitely pick the watch.
Telekinesis has a bunch of nifty sub branches too. Any element you can think of has a kinetic version of it.
Basically Element bending
@@RoyJones. yep. And there’s even some funny elements you can bend.
10:50 that is what taskmaster looks like in the MCU since black widow is part of it
1:09 it's underrated if your talking about Sonic because in the DC world, you may be going fast, but for you, everything is just slowed down, so in a lot of situations, it's not that good, but when we're talking about Sonic, that's only one of the two ways he goes fast, he also can actually run fast without it looking like normal walking to him.
There's elemental power like bending from avatar you could put this under a type of power that is just control or manipulation because there are things that arnt elements like gravity that have plenty of examples
What a match up. Chuck Norris versus batman with prep time.
Make a part 3 please 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Accually there was some sort of test done about the teleportation one and if you think about a 2d model to make a portal from one side of paper to the other you'd have to fold it in half so that's what you'd have to do in the 3D model AKA fold the universe😄
Welcome back
Glad to be back 💯
The teleportation idea is actually covered by a manga called Ajin: Demi human where people can regenerate from the largest part of thier bodies so effectively teleport, but this means destroying your entire body and getting more or less reborn as a clone. I highy recomend it
Another unique version of flight I think is in my hero since deku and the 7th user can only float but using the strength of one for all they can propel themselves which can allow them to fly
Which is Delaware Smash Air Force
I mean, Ben 10 is everything on this list
Teleportation is technically possible IRL due to Quantum Mechanics. Quantum Tunneling is basically that since all matter is Energy (at a certain vibrational frequency) all matter has a wave function. Where that wave function is measured is its location in space-time. It is possible for this wave to be measured on the other side of a barrier or distance. Now, the probability of this is less than the probability that any two randomly selected fundamental particles in the universe are the same ones, but it is still possible. Meaning someone with the ability to manipulate probability would be able to teleport via Quantum Tunneling.
I liked that shifting is omnitrix symbol
The flash's only weakness are the writers💀
Shapeshifting is a power that I feel often goes under utilized as people use it to transform into things that already exist. Shapeshifting especially without energy or biological restrictions allows a person to turn themselves into literally anything. For example you could give yourself armored skin capable of stopping tank shells, and subdermal cartilage to disperse the force preventing blunt force trama from said tank shell. There a lot of things you can do with shapeshifting that aren't properly utilized in any source of media I've seen.
