I'm originally from the original beauty pageant powerhouse, Venezuela. I love our Miss Venezuela Universe this year, Sthefanie Gutierrez. If it weren't for all the unfortunate scandals surrounding the MVO I think she would definitely be a front runner for the crown. However, Catriona is the real deal. She's stunningly beautiful, natural in her ways, smart, and is involved in social advocacy, which the new owners of MU, IMG, are looking for. Her minus is her body but if she can arrive to MU super thin and toned she can compensate for a rather thick waist. If the pageant is held in the Philippines, then we can forget about anyone else taking the crown from Catriona, and even with the home cooking nobody will be able to argue that her title won't be well deserved.

Aww Happy Life Hi Aww! I think Catriona gave the best answer among the finalists. She lost NOT because of her answer, but because the National Directors of Puerto Rico (winner) and Indonesia (2nd princess) were among the panel of judges. Based on the scores in all the categories, Catriona top them esp vs Puerto Rico who did not place in any of the categories.This brought Phils' Natl Dir Corrie Quirino to resign because of the "cookfest' that happened. Catriona is spontaneous even back then. Try watching her interviews before she competed in Miss World. All girls in Miss World are prepared for that question. Catriona gave more of a speech.
Aww Happy Life her answer is definitely being rehearse or practice, that's just makes her so ready for the Q&A, she worked hard for it and everyone knew it. I just hope Miss Universe will give the crown to the deserving winner.
I don't think her answer made her lose. I agree that it sounded too similar from her answer in Miss World Phils but if you compare it to the other contestants, Miss Indonesia didn't even make sense at all LOL. Let's face it, she would have won or at least placed higher in Miss World if the judges were not the national director of Indonesia and Puerto Rico
