Marseille is the French Naples in France in similarity, the sun ☀️ , beach 🏝 , the small streets of the city center, hot atmosphere, many fans of city club (OM) Olympique de Marseille, honestly it’s a beautiful city.
Hi ! i'm from Marseille, it's the France's second city and the oldest. I just don't understand why you say "Château Deloff" it's Château D'If, like in english when you say "what if..." xD
I agree, nice video but someone should have helped you pronounce the names correctly, example: Calanques is pronounced Calank far from your way of saying it and it doesn’t help other tourists who show up there and ask for directions using your pronunciation
I came to watch this video to hear how Marseille is pronounced. But when I heard him say Quay (Kwaye) amongst other things... nevermind. Good video though
Such things are a state of mind. Can they say about Paris what they say about Los Angeles (Cite des Anges) " It's great so long as you weren't born here".
Nothing much to see. I mean who cares about stadium and concrete eyesore island? I’ve been here, pretty sh*thole. Too many criminal activities at night.
I love Marseille, living there I had positive experiences. Yes, in the hood there's a lot of trouble BUT it's the same in Paris. I lived there too and the hood has violence, the metro smells of pee and faeces and is filthy. The metro in Marseille is quite different, yes its smaller with just 2 lines but I didn't smell shit down there. The Marseillaise are much friendlier than Parisians. There are of course negative aspects of Marseille, it's definitely NOT a perfect city, neither is Paris. I prefer Avignon to be honest.
Marry and baby Jesus atop of Church Notre Dame de la Garde atop of mountain observing and protecting entire Marseille just takes a breath away , beauty and tranquility is just out of this world,

I’ve been here, it’s one of the most dangerous port city in France. As a female tourist I could not walk around by myself. I had to have someone with me and my hotel advised me not to walk at night, it was unlike Paris. Even my few friends from Marseille advised me to be very careful and not to visit alone. I was scared after dark, practically no one was walking around. Many illegal middle eastern immigrants were seen, I was told they were illegals by the local people and some criminal activities were seen. Also not many things to do and graphitis are everywhere, very unsightly and many buildings were run down. Not the nicest city to visit and you haven’t lost anything by nor visiting the city. There’re many nicer cities in France to visit.
@@bonita81 If you’re looking for a port city try Nice. Very beautiful. Many things to do and buildings are nice. No graphitis, but many museums, restaurants, cafés, carnivals etc.
Why did the narrator not learn how to say the names of these places? People asking how to get to the "Kalankewz" are going to be met by puzzled looks...

That was what I noticed first. Poor pronunciation ruins credibility.
I noticed that with a lot of americans. It is so cringy....
It would seem that someone would take just a minute or two to give the narrator some pointers. Really really bad

'Kway'? It is pronounced Key.

How the hell does a VO artist fuck that up that badly??
This video is very entertaining. You should only speak in French.
