Please could you review/describe the taste of the dishes a bit more than just ‘delicious’ or other one word answers?! Thanks!!

I love Nice too much, it's a walking city by the beach, what's not to love, i can take 2eurp bus to Cannes, Monaco, grasses for the perfume workshop.
I was told marsselle is dangerous 😢, so i didn't want to risk it. I just walking all over Nice.

Nice and Marseille(⬆️) are totally polar opposites. Nice is more glitz and glam. Marseille(⬆️) is not. I encourage you to put what you heard aside and visit with an open mind. It's not the same vibe. I'm going in July and can not wait.

Good hosts but I do not understand why they use their hands so much as they say their script. It does not make things more interesting , it is distracting. Marseille is an extraordinary city. I loved it. So much more interesting than the north of France. The north is so blocked up in their rigid hierarchies and traditions, that they are stressed and neurotic as a result. They make their own children miserable in their schools system for example. The reputation of Marseille is almost a good thing becasue it keeps lots of uptight tourists out of there.

Could you visit the Grenoble & Grand Est region in France? Need more reports in those areas, not just famous Paris or other popular tourist spots.! Thank you. 🤓❤ PS. Why travel to Marseille with an American group a few years back, the guide said~ it was not safe in many areas of the City! Crime rate is high there? I wonder.😳

    Ahhh, Marseille!
Ask French citizens about the most dangerous cities in their country, and most will say Marseille immediately.
    Have body guards, will travel!

Marseille is the ninth dangerous city in France way below Paris, Lille, Rouen, Lyon and even Bordeaux.

Referring to Marseille as a 'melting pot' is putting it quite delicately. Walking a sizable portion of this city is like an excursion thru Mogadishu. Stick to the old port and surrounding areas or the main boulevards.
