Man, I love Ron, one day I’ll get an opportunity to meet him and possibly watch him work, he is the best instructor.
Wow Ron, I’M ‘in-love’ with this texture!!!
Thank-You for sharing Your technique, comments and product links!
…Can’t wait to try this en mini!!!
Was watching ur old videos, was surprised to see you with a different hair! :)
Been applying your techniques to cake. :)
Ron, thank you. I'm a house painter and you're an amazing teacher
Awesome as always. I was just thinking about polished white finishes earier this week and here comes your superb video. Thanks again Ron.
Hi, I love your videos. Excellent and thorough teaching. I’ve already learned so much from you. Thank you. I was wondering if you could tell me the link to the marmarino please
I don't see the link for the marmarino?
I'm SO happy to see this video!!! I love your instruction & method of teaching so I've been waiting for the white plaster since I tend to get silver tones on light gray's & wasn't sure how I'd manage a white.
I notice that your blade angle is higher than normal on the close stroke, is that because of the plastic trowel or is it the best way to close off bright white plaster?
If I only have one plastic trowel, could I sand down the edge with very fine sand paper to get rid of the scratches before I apply grasello?
Ron.... I don't see a link for which Marmorino to buy?
Ron ,Thanks a lot for that 👍👍
Not seeing the links in the comments-section, unfortunately.
Am I looking in the wrong-place?
Thanks!
This art very very cool I'm just a drywall finisher but would I've wasting my time trying to learn this by doing or you recommend a personal instructor (I'm sure materials aren't cheap
Hi I am enjoying your videos. just wondering what thin material you are applying your plaster on. Car thank you in advance for your response
Hi there, thanks so much for these great tutorials!
Any suggestions on wax? The one you have recommended is no longer available on amazon.
Sweet finish
Why can’t I find the link to these products ? Thank you
thank you
cool
Hey Ronald. what do you use to do your samples onto?
Ron i have a question, if it’s modern masters Venetian plaster after I applied the second coat and burnished it and it still doesn’t look like a glass finish, could I add a specific wax or top coat for it to have a mirror like finish? The color I applied is white by the way
Jose Galindo hi, I have to say that although modern masters is a great product it’s not capable as getting shiny as traditional polished lime Grassello but it does shine. Did you burnish when humid or dry? At this point I would apply a paste wax and polish
Ronald Layman I burnished when it was dry because I left some parts a little thicker for a specific texture, so paste wax and polish, do you have a tutorial on how to properly apply them?
Excellent tutorial. As always :) Thanks!
So it’s the burnishing that makes it shiny ?
Yes
...no voids in the first coast as with the colored plaster??
Jerry Callender not for this technique
@ronaldlayman
can I use Zinsser mold killing interior/exterior primer for this?
Also, why do you use marmorino? Can’t I just apply the polish plaster?
pocketglider I wouldn’t
pocketglider marmorino and polished plaster are apples and oranges
Okay, I have the grasello all white plaster and was just thinking of putting it on top of the primed walls. Could you provide a link of the marmorino? I don’t see a link up there
@@RonaldLayman what is pocketglider? the name of the plaster?
Can you show how to mix the colorents or are you buying the plaster already colored ?
Sure I can do that
