Wow~ You have a lot of RC cars with RC4WD chassis that I like. It's so nice to see them rock crawling on the rocks along the shore. I watched with interest. thank you💕💕
Well done Craig i wish I'd known more about when it was on boat harbour is only 90 minutes from me I'll definitely have to keep a better eye on it for next year sounds like it was pretty hard on the gear nice set up in the cruiser 👊
Oh what a bummer! Sorry you missed it! Was a great few days :) (Next year's big bash will be at Murphy's Creek Escape, in the Upper Lockyer, then hopefully 2025 will be somewhere around Melbourne.)
I don't mind travelling if I'm not committed with work I'll be keen for the next one if you do ever head back this way give me a shout out I'd be more than happy to show you the watagan mountains and some local spots there's in indoor course at Rutherford and I work in a winery in pokolbin with some pretty famous wines
You definitely have a new kind of smile on your face. I have a feeling this was good for the soul as well as just fun. I love your videos. I learned so much. !!! The repair bench is going to be busy for a while. Lol.
That's awesome man. The first time I laid eyes on this hobby I've been excited like Xmas and I still don't have a working rc. Great video and it's awesome to see you so happy!
Aw big thanks, Joey Strong! I appreciate the support and especially the thought behind it. Sadlol at no working rc, I'm burning through daylight today surrounded by broken things!
That looks like crawling heaven. What a great place to be able to crawl on. The 'Leviathan', looks like an awesome new truck, so i can't wait to see the video on that! And it looks like you had a great time. The enthusiasm you show for the hobby is great. Its infectious. Gteat video. 👍🏻
I'm sorry these things happened to you, Craig. I particularly feel bad for the TF3 steering knuckle breakage. I know the pain because every time I take my trucks out, something always breaks.
Thanks but it was all good :) Breakages happen and then I learn. I don't get breakages much at all these days. Modern RC vehicles are pretty good. Fast stuff breaks, sure, but crawlers tend to be quite reliable. I frequently marvel at this!
I am late to the party but never mind. As an old guy my back hurts just watching the drivers straining to look low at their trucks , and to think you did this for 3 days. See you next year if not before.
it's all good I snapped the transmission drive shaft on my 6x6 yesterday evening.. it's good they have such an easily accessible fail-safe Cross has things that well thought out.. since I could not locate any at6 parts on their site I hope the 3 I ordered for the wt4 work.. they looked close enough to me 😂..
Oops! I did that on my BC8 as well. Then replaced it with a tougher unit. Nothing has broken since, but the upgrade does indeed remove the weakest point from a tough system, so I've gotta be mindful of that now. Thankfully drive shafts are pretty universal and if you buy one that's too long, a simple hacksaw and file will get you back in spec!
Looks like you had a tonne of fun Craig. You my good sir obviously enjoyed your time there and learned a lot too, those two things combined mean a whole lot more than coming in 1st. I too suffer with social anxiety and depression from having ptsd, but watching you go about your comps is a real inspiration to me. Every video you post helps build my knowledge of crawlers and helps me make decisions on what trucks to buy and what mods to do. I live in Victoria at the beginning of the Great Dividing Range and can only assume from your videos that you shoot when you are home on your beautiful property that you must be on or near it in the NSW section of the ranges, so what works for you has generally worked well for me and my rigs. Please never stop creating videos as I feel that your style is unique and really caters better to us fellow Aussie's than the other youtubers (who I also have respect but, where they drive and the mods they do I have found to be less relevant to me and where I drive). Keep up the good work mate :)
Thanks a lot, Ron. Appreciate you sharing a bit of your daily and also thanks for the encouragement. I'm in Vic actually, but spent half my life in Nsw and I know your general area pretty well (have ridden, 4wd and camped all through Nsw & Vic high country region). Thanks for watching my videos. Be well!
@@RCTNT I'm gonna be cheeky now as I just got an Axial ax24 after watching your video the other month so I must ask, what mods would you recommend? I have already got a modest overdrive kit coming from injora (about 15-20% according to their description) and some metal beadlock rims, also from injora on the way. Do you think I will need much more? I'd love to eventually see a video on your opinions of best mods for it (and a review of the FMS fcx24 Chevy blazer k5 whenever we get them here too. Don't want much, do I? hahahaha)
I've been playing with scx24, AX24, and others recently. I tried the Injora front diff gear overdrive and it would bind a bunch, I had to remove it. Hopefully you have better luck! Purple injora motor, brass weights on the ends of the axles, the CF chassis if you want - but that last one really isn't overly necessary. I've been having a great time with mine.
It’s not possible for one person to properly cover an event and compete in the same event. We saw all the build up. I’m glad you had a good time, Congrats on 2nd!🎉
You're right. My dad and brother came and offered to help film and maybe I should have taken them up on that, but really I decided to just enjoy the time and company. No regrets :)
There's rocks there but if you move any the country floods and 70 percent of the world's agriculture production goes down the toilet. Well, if your government doesn't kill it off first lol woke, liberal, alt-right leftist governments and their upper class voters make me laugh. A supercity, "less polution", sitting on one side of the seesaw and farmers having their land appropriated by the government and destroying the world's food supply and the countless millions of empty grave stones waiting on the other side and guess who wins. You can't weigh the poverty stricken dead during this election cycle so you'll get you rc park and the next person voted in will scapegoat the previous leadership team who worked for civil servants wages and retired owning 3 homes and jet setting around the world to often to care. Haha For some people the sight of money will make them do things that they never dreamed of kinda like the reason why the catholic church sold the most beautiful part of my island to Germans to pay for civil law suits, not thinking of all the local people they displaced at the cooperatively ran camp grounds where it took 3 generations of the same immigrant families after ww2 to finally have went from tents to trailers to proudly owned cottages that were bulldozed with 2 months warning. Sorry man. I ramble sometimes. Meds. No offense meant to op.

Oh boy, yes, very busy! Repairs, builds, more builds - there's so much to do here now! I'm all over it :)
Thanks Dan
Awesome, looks like so much fun. I'm real keen to get into RC crawling and after seeing your enjoyment, I think I better do it asap. Thanks
It's a brilliant hobby, I hope you find your place in it! Cheers

An event like this always is :)
Thanks for sharing looked like a great day out.
It really was a brilliant long weekend
Congratulations, well done! 👏👏👏
Thanks, this was such a great trip!
What a view!!!
I didn't mention Australia's new F35 fleet doing low ocean fly bys right by us, either. It was quite an experience!
It looks like a great and challenging competition.
Take, it was a blast

Haha it was great, yep! I'll be at the next ECCF in late March in Murphy's Creek Escape, for sure. Cheers!
that terrain is incredible, what an event! there was a local event near me but i got so caught up with work I forgot to take my crawlers with me, doh!
Oh no! That's like some kind of bad dream scenario!
Awesome video I always enjoy your content from here in Arizona 👍
Awesome, thank you

That's a good idea. I haven't tried hard to get mine to work yet. I'm sure it can be done! Happy tinkering
Congrats on your 2nd place finish! High traction plus torque equals broken parts. 😂 I love my HH servos!
Haha yes, so much traction! Hh gear was flawless.
Awsome vid mate
Thanks Chris, it was a great weekend eh :) Catch you at the next one!
hey love your channel and vids
Thanks!
Is it just me that wanted to close that left door so bad? 😄
Oh I wanted to as well, but that's a 10 point vehicle touch. Couldn't afford to do that during the run!
@@RCTNT Yeah I gathered that was the reason, really nice driving though 👍

Haha yes, it is - I think you meant SCX10 III, but yes, largely stock. Satisfying, eh!
YOUR WELCOME ON THE 3WD MOD ON YOUR TF2 HAHAHA
Oooh it was YOU!
so Jealous I live in a country with no rocks, no mountains, nothing... Greetings from the Netherlands
Something something long range fpv and drone opportunities?
