Shame adaptive cruise control is only available on the high end PHEVs. Don't understand why Japan are the only manufacturers providing this as standard.
In Czechia adaptive cruise control is standard for all DCT transmissions starting with the second lowest spec. so 4 out of 5 specs have it with DCT. Motors: 1.5 T-GDI GPF ISG + 1.6 T-GDI GPF ISG + 1.6 CRDi SCR ISG MHEV + 1.6 GDI GPF PHEV, only the 1.0 T-GDI GPF ISG cannot have it.
@@RackingJay Standard cruise or adaptive cruise? (Or smart cruise, intelligent cruise or whatever Kia calls it). I can't see any benefit in standard Cruise as traffic is always speeding up and slowing down so you're forever turning it off and on again.
Gorgeous car, but KIA is getting more and more pricey overall.. If you have 100% cash to buy, then its not so crazy much, but with financial leasing it gets awful to be honest.
you mean pointless testing of a pointless German spec car... I like the looks but it's much less practical than Octavia Scout or Golf Alltrack, which also have four wheel drive...
I was just about to post the same. Plus when I have sat in the back of a Ceed in the showroom there doesn't seem that much leg room and there wasn't in one of the earlier Ceed SWs that I had.
The base spec 2023 honda civic is 32k. I have a last gen civic sport, 1.5L absolutely great car, think they were about 25-26k brand new. The newer honda civic was going to be my first choice but the price increase, plus a pretty mediocre deposit contribution it was going to be a mortgage per month. Seen the xceed, got 2.5k contribution, first two years service are free, actually drove better than my honda civic and it was just as quick give or take 0.5 of a second.
I've got 2020 model and imo it's a great car 7yr warranty and a £14 a month service package so far not had a single problem .
Do you have the PHEV or regular gasoline motor?
@@blahniach just regular gasoline
Despite a few fussy details, a great looking car. Tempting!
I love this car, but unfortunately they don't sell in Canada. It really is too bad.
I'm livid, i work for a Kia dealership, and NOBODY TOLD ME THE XCEED IS GETTING A GREEN PAINT JOB
Next car is sorted
It's really ridiculous that you have to buy the top of the range to get front sensors as standard
I’ve got the model before at full spec, very happy with Kia Xceed, before I had an A180 AClass Mercedes, the Kia is way way better a beautiful car,
Handsome car elegant design look more expensive than its price suggest 👍👍

It's now standard on (some) VWs too, at least the Golf.
@@sssssneaker Yeah, it was on my base spec mk7 Golf. It really takes the piss when it's part of a £4k optional package on a virtually 6 figure Mercs.

I'm about to buy XCEED 1.5T 3 and it comes with cruise control

Why isn’t the UK going to get the 1.6-litre turbo petrol that will be offered overseas?
My guess is because of the 70mp/h speed limit in the UK. I know, still disappointing we can't get there 1.6 here.
The rear seats are tiny... I'm 6ft and an adult above 5ft 5 couldn't fit comfortably behind me in the previous Xceed.
Well then fook off and buy something that suits u...not ever one 6ft 20 🙄
That is a joke right? You are a good comediant!
i read number plate as FAKE 119. good car anyhow
You noticed too😂
whut?? only the gt_line has the new back lights ?
Yeah it's a feature for the higher spec cars, it convinced me though haha
@@insanefalling4544 thinking about putting it in mine
@@StarFox85 it's a really nice touch that I loved on the ceed, but i prefer the look of the xceed, so glad it's getting them too 😄
Nice Color car.
Just ordered one with automatic gears in the U K G T LINE S.
.
Enjoy!

Because Kia is prety good.
HOLD ON ! so the uk will not get an automatic !
no, you guys are known to love manual knobs.
Yes the uk has auto's
@@neilstait7459 only in 1 spec NOT GT Line
No autos …no sale
I don’t get why KIA UK have pulled all automatics ?
Pointless testing a German spec car where transmission and engine combination won't be available in the UK.

@@sssssneaker You are comparing completely different cars with the XCeed. Competition for XCeed is Skoda Kamiq or VW Taigo.
Nice car but if you were buying the top spec XCeed @ about £28k might be better off buying a base spec Honda CIVIC.
