Thank you for giving the actual mpg on your test drive. This i feel, is just as important to the modern driver as performance. I only wish more road testers would give these facts.
Kia cars is becoming what VWs used to be in Europe. A solid and practical vehicle, confident on the road that does everything right. Hopefully will Kia bring some mid-size sedan to Europe.
That was a very pleasant review to watch Wonderful flow of narration, nice voice and the delivery wasn't as hectic as in other channels. And if I may say so, a very tastefully dressed presenter.
It's yucky in my opinion. Also it's not a proper 4X4. If you want a proper one buy something like a Land Rover Discovery or a pickup like a Toyota Hilux. It is ugly and another stupid jumped up hatchback.
It's a great looking car with good spec , only one USB though. Really did consider this but have just ordered an Ateca FR sport , extra space better AID and sportier drive. Otherwise great review totally agree with you , it's a competitive package.
Shows how things have changed when the first thing Rebecca comments on when she sits in the driver's seat is the touchscreen system. Is this the main priority for drivers these days ?
Had a test drive yesterday in the Xceed 3 Plug-In. Drives very well, great spec, comfortable, but not quite as smooth as the Niro 2 I've had for 3 years. It has the Ceed chassis, not the specific hybrid Niro chassis, the drive is a little harder on the road. The dashboard feels higher up than the Niro but is certainly a smarter design than the Niro. I'll be having one for my next company car because for all this spec, heated seat and a lovely electronic lumber sport, I'll only be paying £61/month company car tax compared to (eg) £140 for a Honda HRV, £188 for a BMW 2 series or £128 for the Niro 3
good looking car, interested in the hybrid version, but 0-60 in 10 sec, just a non starter, I don't want a supercar but need some punch and this just doesn't see to have it, other wise a good looking and stylish offering.
@@chilly6470 yeah I'm looking at the 1.4 7 speed first edition . I'm going to test drive next week hopefully it has a bit more power as I'm coming from a 2.0tdi seat Leon with 180bhp lol but like all the bells and whistles you get with Kia for the money plus if you get one nearly new they are cheap as chips 😎
Had a Mercedes (badge snobbery had nothing but problems). Got a Kia x credit first edition. I’ve also had an Audi A3. Over priced and basic. This Kia is a lot more car full of extras as standard. And nicer to drive give me the Kia any day.
The problem with Kia is they make sporty good looking cars but always under power, what's the point? They would attract more customers otherwise, to me that's a fail plus £29,000 for this trim is not exactly cheap either.
She's a bit too strict..... i don't see problems with the ambiance and BMW + Mercedes also have subpremium plastic in their cars, some of which even WORSE than the Kias. Only Audi offers premium interior material quality
too much glossy black trim inside, even though not as much as in more expensive audi or mercedes models for example.... i love central stack with real buttons, overal styling, but it needs awd...
Still dont like the shape of the new ceed, much prefer the previous generation. I have a 2014 pro ceed gt tech in white, one of the best looking cars on the road
i do hate automatics that have normal looking gear stick like that, the ones in new Peugeots and the new corsa etc look fantastic this looks crap and OLD
Altough buying a car new isn't really what anyone should be doing. Or if you like to lose 5k just by driving out of the dealership. And another 5k with first 10k miles.
So people buy their fancy badged and less reliable German car and after 3 years it's depreciated pretty much the same and has no warranty left, whereas the Kia still has 4 years
@@Shuddersfield0303 But that BMW was much more expensive to buy in the first place, which is always 'conveniently' left out. I'd love to know where one can find all those absolute bargain Kia's, the ones with few miles, who look like brand new yet have greatly depreciated. I've yet to find them.
Alright decent points. I guess it depends where you live. In my condition we have snow half the year. Hence all wheel drive is the most important reason to own a suv/crossover
@@georgekirby3361 that's a valid point too. Def would buy a 4 wheel drive SUV than too. Here in the Netherlands four wheel drive really is unnecessary. We barely have snow, don't even have mountains. Everything is flat. Haha.
It kind of looks like a first gen Mercedes GLA, I love it
The devil is a liar
Kia are really doing great things nowadays...
I’ve got a 2015 Sonata and the engine blew up at 42,000 miles despite changing the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.
I guess I am kinda off topic but do anyone know a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
Such a lovely voice you were made for this. Very good detail. Thanks
I like it. It certainly *exceeds* my expectations.
*ba dum tsss*
I’ve got a 2015 Sonata and the engine blew up at 42,000 miles despite changing the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.
Yea but I kinda prefer the ProCeed so I might just *proceed* into the process of buying one next month
And the reliability's a bonus, owned a number of Kia's and they've given me next to no issues. The stats dont lie. :-D
I have waited the moment when Ford is mentioned again. No review without selling Ford!
LOVE THIS CAR especially in this trim

Love your reviews Rebecca your the best! 😘
Liked it so much, I bought one, pick it up Saturday!
so... how is your Kia? :)
@tjzp ive sold it now, had no problem with it, never missed a beat!
But wanted something a bit smaller, only sold it in September 23
@@joesoap4185 good to know, thank you for your reply!
Definitely. I'm tempted to go to my local KIA dealer and pick the 1.4T auto up, as they're really well priced. I've got a 2016 Ceed JD 1.6GDI.
A car review in UK while it's raining? How British is that? But seriously, Europe sure gets some nice cars, as a Canadian I am so jealous!
Here in Finland there is also a 1.6 T-GDI 204 hp petrol version.
Here in Romania as well , that engine is just wonderful.
Collecting one on Friday 16th really impressed with the test drive.
These videos don't do the xceed enough justice. Amazing car.
It’s not on my shorlist. I have already ordered a Kia Xceed 1,4 T-GDI.
No mention in-car audio!, it may be important to some people. Just because dealers know next to nothing about audio doesn't mean reviewers shouldn't.
Why aren’t UK-spec XCeeds offered with the Ceed GT’s 1.6-litre turbo petrol like they are in other markets?
That is a very good introduction. I will upgrade my Kia to this one because of your recommendation and your nice voice and lovely accent
Stunning Looks, car’s not bad either,😜

Nice car but the back lights could be changed
Both you and Xceed are gorgeous 😁

Rebecca lights up my display 😎😁
I ordered one and I will drive next week

Kia are going from good to great
I can't wait for PHEV version of this car! :D
Rebecca, I could watch and listening to you reading the telephone book! Such a beautiful lady ☺️ Oh yeah, and the car is nice.

I just took one for a test drive. Road noise is pretty bad. It really let's it down. I'll probably still get one because of the 0% finance though.
What spec was it and was it a diesel or petrol ? :)
@@thechosenone2211.... It was the K3 spec, 1.0 petrol.......Wouldn't pull you out of bed!

Very nice
Seats remind me of fiesta vignale with stitching
Have they fixed the over sensitive brake's?

shall we mention the ford active again....just don't mention the interior. Nice review of the Kia though
Kia is becoming everyone's favourite. Value for money and reliable.
It's exceedingly good
I really hope that XCeed PHEV is galvanized.
This xceeded my expectation
wonder if it makes it to the usa?
Remind me again how long is the warrenty on a Ford ?!
Hey Rebecca! SO nice to see you in this cuteness :)
Oh look it's Rebecca ! Brilliant !
Strangely appealing car. As others have noted it's a bit GLA like. Loving this channel btw, presenters seem much less forced here than others ..
Oh no! Rebecca Jackson, “ The panoramic roof floods the interior with light but eats into headroom” no shit Sherlock!
Rebecca sure likes her power button 😆 it would definitely make my short list
I ordered one of these in January... still waiting:(
Lol are you serious?Cancel it!

Great Video Review. Kia are doing great these days
Have they sorted the gear box issues yet tho?
What issue would that be?
👀
Rebecca, certainly can sell me the Kia Xceed.
Ecosport review
Why no 1.6 petrol from the ceed gt?!
A R It’s coming later this year
I think this is better from VW T-Roc in terms of interior quality and design, also this KIA is cheaper, that's a lot arguments on KIA's side!
Just traded in my t roc for this far superior materials and so smooth driving

Thirty grand for that? Shove it.

almost 30k.....ill pass

Like the colours, have they nicked em from Ford.
All brands have virtually the same colour my 2013 ceed is same colour as some bmws just colour at the end of the day
OMG. The turn signal indicators are LEDs! Bye, bye incandescent bulbs!
Looks alright...the car not you RJ🤣
This one looks better than Mazda c30, but kia is not selling it globally..
5:57 Ford Focus Active is ugly ^_^
BUT, ... Not available in Australia where it would sell like hamburgers at a weight watchers convention!! Thank's KIA .
I hate back cladding
The head room is awful, unless you're under 5ft10
Not desirable for me at £29,000 prefer a jaguar epace for the same money.
The epace won't have a lot of options.
i do hate automatics that have normal looking gear stick like that, the ones in new Peugeots and the new corsa etc look fantastic this looks crap and OLD
I hate the look of PSA auto shifters. Give me a standard one anyday over a temperamental electronic one.
I don't understand why they often compare it to Ford Focus. It's like one of the shittiest cars in that range.
Im only gere for onde thing, that booooot!
£30k for a car that’s anything other than a premium brand makes no sense.

who the fuck buys a Ford nowadays xD iam guessing you would have to park the car at the dealership

Mehn she has grown older since her days in car buyer
Looks like a 4x4 but isn’t. Pointless 👎
I like Kia but two wheel drive SUV’s are pointless!
It's more like a cross-over imo. It's just like hatchback but a bit higher on the wheels. Which is nice for view and therefore driving.
