Please do not want it. Little chimps should be with their mothers first 7 years of their lives. Like people. Do you know how little chimps get to the people? Poachers kill their mothers just to get little chimps and sell them! It is businees. Do you know how long chimpanzees live? Would you take care also for 20 years old chimpanzee?

But as I said the Kelloggs took it the extreme, even firing a handgun beside both their human infant son Donald and the test chimp infant raised with Donald named Gua, to record on film their fright. Trixie Robinson there are old tests done by the Kelloggs on video from the late 20s or 30s that test that exact question. They raised for a time, a baby chimp along side their toddler son and did some rather primitive tests. One of which was to test them each for sense of brief abandonment from the human parent behind something and filmed their reactions 1 against the other. The chimp runs to look for the parent and cries just like the human baby. This baby will never be ok but to tease it with abandonment will make it more neurotic and miserable for lufe
They probably gave it to a zoo, to a circus or tossed it in the trash. Once they are older they are no longer manageable or desirable for making these types of videos.
That Chinpanzee was very sick so he had to get kind of a special care and unfortunately after the care, his mom couldn’t realize his child and tried to attack him. So that chimpanzee had to be raised by veterinarians.
Well, at least this little one is not in the wild getting killed by law breakers and the chimp is being treated vey well. Thank You for sharing your videos
Not good take baby to a sanctuary!!! No matter how much you feed him/her no matter how many toys you give him/her she will always want her mama she will always be missing something. And what happens when this baby grows in to a beast please enlighten us animal lovers with your plan of care when this baby is full grown ???
Exactly and a baby can’t appreciate what their looking at. For babies and toddlers looking at a monkey would mean nothing to them and just subjects the animals to stress. I can’t parents don’t see this.

I agree they should be in the wild, but in the wild they could easily be whipped out due to illegal bush-meat trade, palm oil harvesters, and illegal pet trade. The likelihood of them thriving in the wild is less than slim. I hate seeing them in the hands of random people, & knowing that this chimps whole family was slaughtered just to take this one little guy, but in a way this could potentially save the chimp species. Having intact males and females in private homes and zoo's and with a successful breeding program, then we have effectively saved the chimps. It could happen?

(dammit i'm still a mental midget with how to do the video time in blue) Maybe the later-life aggression seen in attacks on owners over past few years is a necessary evil for that species.... were that to be something that would never happen (if neutering/spaying were a fail-safe assurance), there'd be a LOT more chimp "owners"......
